i-Mate PDA2K & WM2005

Hi there everyone
(This is my first post in XDA Developers so go easy on me, :lol: :lol: )
I would like to know, if I can upgrade my PDA2K to a Windows Mobile 2005 Operating System, I currently have
ROM Version: 1.31.00 WWE
ROM Date: 12/13/04
Radio Version: 1.06.00
Protocol Version: 1337.38
ExtROM Version: 1.31.112 WWE
I also have Bluetooth patch 3900 but I still have problems with range with my Jabra BT200.
Please advise as to whether this can be upgraded to WM2005, as I love to be using new tech, and new OS.
Also, is there any way to patch the PDA2K with the XDAIIs Firmware, to stop the problem, of the BT200, or should I wait for the new Firmware coming out from i-Mate in the very near future.

Please Help me upgrade my PDA2k (Arabic Version)

hi all:
i just wanted to upgrade my PDA2K with new features like WMP10, mp3 tones, camera...etc i'm using the version with the arabic patch, here are my device infomation.
ROM version: 1.31.00 WWE
ROM date: 12/13/04
Radio version: 1.06.00
Protocol version: 1337.38
ExtROM version: 1.31.112 WWE
so is there a new all in one ROM i can install with all the updates?
or is there some patches i can update on my phone for camera, WMP,...etc?
Pls help me and tell me how to do it if possile.
i also need it to still be able to function with arabic

Hello,
Just upgrade nk.nbf 1.40 and radio_.nbf 1.12 or 1.10 and do not touch your Extended ROM.
There are some files in the ExtROM that you would not need (like the Blue Tooth patch) but you can go ahead with the above now.

New and confused with my Blue Angel

You'll all have to excuse me if I appear a little confused.... I've only had my Blue Angel a few days and already it is driving me up th wall. I be going through the message boards day after day and now I'm unsure which way to turn with it. Configuration of my unit is as follows:
Orange SPV M2000 - Unlocked, I use both Orange and O2 sims in it.
Operator version: 5.31.1.124
ROM version: 1.31.00 WWE
ROM date: 12/13/04
Radio version: 1.06.02
Protocol version: 1337.38
ExtRom version 1.31.124 WWE
Bluetooth version: 1.0.0 Build 3500
Windows Mobile 2003 SE: 4.21.1088
So far its faults seem to be
1. Not compatible with my Bluetooth car kit (nokia CK 7W).
2. Occasionally people are telling me that I sound really distant when making calls (when using it as a phone, e.g with to my ear - I don't do wired ear pieces)
Could anyone please recommend the upgrades I should be looking to use? By upgrading roms etc will a loose its unlocked ablity?

You can use the latest rom upgrades that are available i.e 1.40 Rom version. After upgarding the rom ur device will not be locked once unlocked it remains unlocked. all the blueetooth and other issues would be resolved after the rom upgrade.
The complete details of the latest rom are as follows:
ROM Version: 1.40.00 WWE
ROM Date: 03/10/05
Radio version: 1.13.00
Protocol version: 1337.42
ExtROM version: 1.40.147
for the rom link u can have a look in the forum there are a couple of updates availble from different opereators.

Thanks for that, I've upgraded it using the imate PD2k 1.40 rom set. The unit seems to be functioning better already and it has got rid of some of the rubbish Orange had installed on it.
Now at:

Radion Version: 1.12.00
Protocol version: 1337.42
ExtROM version: 1.40.176 WWE
Bluetooth version 1.0.0 Build 3900
Windows Mobile 2003SE Version 4.21.1088 (build 15045.2.6.0)
Guess I'll just have to see how this performs........
Had fun trying to upgrade it, country ID error thing kept coming up but got there in the end using the advice from this site. I guess that must be something to do with my phone being unlocked? The only info the device data utility gave me was:
PH20B 0 B WWE E

Nope, I guess it was because you actually read the Wiki pages and the advice on this forum

Anyone moved their BA from O2 to IMate or other stable ROM?

Looking for input from those who have already done this. I'm ready to go, currently on the latest O2 Asia ROM but having stability issues. Which way did you do it, was it successful and so on. Have been through all the wiki doco but want to hear from others before tipping over the edge!

How did you sort out the password issues? Were you able to get it working by using the editfix.bat technique with the xda3nbftool?

It looks like that the ExtROM was updated
Any idea what is new ?

I just checked the iMate FTP site and there is no new WWE rom there...
