Come on you Mac users! Has anyone been able to get PocketMac to work with WM5 as yet. Have emailed PocketMac with no response yet. Bit of a bugger as WM5 works great on my PDA2K with all the latest patches. Any help would be appreciated.
pocketmac does not yet support wm5, see also pocketmach homepage...
JaToAc is right. The site says WM5 coming soon.

Hello Kelvin,
I've now been having the same problem for over a month. I've tried everything to get it corrected but to no avail. Please keep us posted if you happen to come across a solution.

Anyone got this to work? I can't seem to get good link to install. It says that it's not supported. However, I know good link supports WM5? Anyone know of or have a work around for this?
Just wondering i have put the orange AKU2 update on my universal and all seems quite good. I am currently running TuMa v1.3 on my blueangels but is it possible to have AKU2 on the blueangels using the AKU2 wizard roms. I am not really up on the complex side of things so is it possible and is anyone working on it.
Thanks
Rob.
Hey all,
I had to downgrade back to WM2003 from WM5 due to speed issues, and while things are fine, I find that I really miss the device lock button on the today screen.
Can someone grab the CAB for that and throw it on the FTP server?
Thanks!
would be nice if we could use that on wm2003se
So it won't run on 2003SE?
i don't know
i just wanna say i would like that on my ba with wm2003se
TuMa 1.3 causes unregular Resets on my MDA. So I tried the "BA WM2005 5.03.02WWE - standard upgrade" from Buzzdev.net. Works fne for me. But I´d like the Device lock and the Bat Meter, too. I found no place to download. Any Ideas?
No, it is not going to work. Code compiled to WM5 is not going to run under 2003SE (only the other way around).
i do need that cab
cam aNy one put it here :?:

hello!
I bought a qtek 2020i and wanted to update it because he's with windows mobile 2003 second editon, and wanted to upgrade it to wm 5.0 or one that is possible. through a rom, but I need you to explain how to install everything, but I am new at this and does not realize anything.
even better was if they could get the software in Portuguese.
thanks
greetings
I'm afraid that WM2003SE is as far as our beloved Alpine devices are able to go, WM 5 and above is simply not possible on this hardware.
However it's still a wonderful device, and it's still my main phone/pda to this day, despite now having access to 'better' hardware

The reason why other HTC devices are able to run WM5 or above is quite complicated, but to be brief, it all comes down to the hardware/software interface, the OS must be able to access the hardware, and for this it needs drivers.
The problem is, Alpine's hardware is different from those devices which can run WM5 and above, and the drivers do not exist, and cannot be modified from other devices.
WM2003se drivers cannot work on WM5, and no other drivers are available, so I'm afraid it's an impossible dream.
In theory it might be possible to develop a version of Android for the Alpine, but this would require a team of skilled developers, and although there are such skilled developers here, I doubt they'd be interested in developing for what is now old hardware.
So, no WM5 or WM6 or Android, only dependable, stable and fast WM2003SE
