[Q] [Sound Enchantments]SRS Trumedia for our x8... Phone lags like crazy

have anybody used this mod? When i installed this: SRS Trumedia V2 for X8 by CKKnot.zip and deleted ds manager everything ok.. But there is another zip: DSP Enabler for X8 by CKKnot.zip... When i installed this and enabed it my phone was like very laggy... So the question is, did i do something wrong or what should i do to make it better...
I use the mod but i didn't flash the DSP enabler. I advice you use music player with built-in equalizer such as TTPOD and POWERAMP.

but yea... volume+ app is the best eq app i have used.. It has beats audio emulation and things like that..
Its like a typical equalizer to suit to your hearing experience.
OT: I dont know why people uses "+1" when there is a "THANKS" button to hit instead. I find it more easy to click than to write 3 character. Just an observation. No need to hit it
delete /system/lib/soundfx/libcyanogen-dsp.so and report (You'll not able to use any dsp based equalizer such as Volume+ itself uses this lib...)
[ROM] MiniCM7-2.2.0 and [Sound Enchantments]SRS Trumedia for our x8 works well with dsp manager as long as u dont enable eq everthing else works good... if u have problems after flashing [Sound Enchantments]SRS Trumedia like dsp manager force closes just go to apps, manage apps and clear dsp manager data... And it will work

[Q] Low custom notification sound

Hello,
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 with a stock rom with Hebrew menus (didn't come with the phone, I flashed it but it's basically stock with Hebrew menus). I'm trying to use a custom mp3 notification sound. I used Ringdroid to cut the song and make it available on the notifications menu, and it sounds fine on Ringdroid and when playing the sound file itself, but when I actually set it as the notification sound, the sound is very low. I searched around and seen some people complaining about it but no actual answer, so I was hoping someone here can help.
Thanks, Ohad.
Yeah I used to have the same problem.. nothing can be done for that. You have to root your device and flash a patch for dsp manager if it doesnot work you have option but to flash a rom like cyanogenmod 7 it has a fantastic sound quality..

Thank you for the answer. I've flashed the DSP manager app now, it seems a little better. Are there any suggested preferences to use with it?
Thanks, Ohad.
Well that purely depends on you you can set to your own taste well for the phone speakers you can enable bass boost and set the equalizer to acoustic and for your earphone settings just use acoustic only and enable virtual room and set it to studio. These are the settings I use rest depends on you and your needs.. and FYI these screenshots are just for earphones..

So do you want to use an Equalizer app? Then try this one... it has good ratings on Google Play Store...
If you want to use a 3rd party music app with built-in equalizer then try either PowerAMP or MortPlayer... :good:
Or if you were talking about Audio Mods then try searching for Viper4Android... I heard that it improves Music and Audio Quality but I never got the time to test it

LG G2 like music player

Hello all,
Before the OPO I have the Lg G2, and one of the things I like on this phone is the realy cool and usefull Music player ...
I tested many many music players on the Play Store but never find one like on LG G2
I tryed to install the G2 music APK on the OPO, he don"t want.
Can somebody port it ? or find one other similar app please ?
PS : I already have Power AMP, but the reason I hate it now, is the decode driver ... Power amp never support Viper4Audio or Faux Sound, or any sound moficitaion app/drivers ....
Thanjks a lot
You cant just put the music APk in another phone. its tied to the LG framework and it also has other apps associated to it in the system. Try poweramp or neuron.

I've been using PowerAMP + Viper on all of my previous phones and still use it with this phone. It works perfectly fine. You just need to configure it properly.
PowerAMP -> Settings -> Audio -> Advanced Tweaks -> Enable MusicFX. Disable Direct Volume Control
PowerAMP -> Tone/Vol -> Enable MusicFX Toggle.
Ensure that there are no conflicts with other mods such as DSP Manager/AudioFX. Freeze the apps.
As far as functionality is concerned poweramp is hands down the best music app for me, as for looks not so much. I like the HTC and LG music apps a lot, if someone can port those to OPO that would be wonderful.
