official wm 6.5 rom

hi
is there is any official wm 6.5 roms available for htc hd. which is the full functional.
2255
Theres no official release, and probably there will not a official release for the blackstone, its an old device now
windows mobile 6.5 isnt even out yet. the ROMs using it are only using preview builds. they are, however fully functional, but as Vipper pointed out, there is unlikely to be an official upgrade. Only the touch pro 2 and diamond 2 get this.
that said, the 6.5 blackstone ROMs we will be using once its out will almost certainly be based on them.
There most likely won't be a release for HD users. I think HTC has already stated this. However I am certain leaked versions will be got by some members(no names) and then all wm6.5 cooked roms will be based on these
With each new build brings stability and speed. Find a 6.5 with the latest build to test
Build 21725 is here for the Diamond and I'm sure HD will be getting it soon.

hackdroid ROM update question

Hi,
I just downloaded and installed the floyo v21 ROM and it works like a charm.I just now saw another update on july 23 with a newer version.
so now if i want to upgrade to the new version on 23 july from the old version on 18 july do I need to put the new version in xrecovery folder and flash the phone again or is there an easier way where i dont lose my contacts and installed programs.if so can you plase guide me how?
many thanks
Vijay
floyo v21 is android 2.2
the other version from july 23rd ist android 2.3
so there might be some problems if you "update"
be sure to backup first!
@vijesl07:First,this rom is called "Floyo v1.0b",not "Floyo v21".Second,cm7 v.138 hackdroid is base on Android 2.3.4,Floyo v1.0b is base on Android 2.2.5 these are 2 different system.Problem happens if you installed a wrong rom.

Root and 6.1

I got the 6.0 update yesterday in Kenya.
1. Is there any info on if/when a MM6.1 ota update will be released?
2. I plan to root tonight. Will that affect ability to get a 6.1 ota update if one's released?
Ion think there is 6.1 probably 6.0.1

Kernel question for the N6

Would it be possible to update the kernel of the N6? Since it's still using an old kernel (3.10)? I know Qualcomm is the one who normally would do the work, but how hard would it be, if someone had to update the kernel and such?
Well, upgrading the Linux kernel won't do much to improve Android based device. Custom kernels are constantly up to date with patches to 3.10, which is a LTS (long term support) kernel. It's EOL is october 2017, that means only after this date there is a real benefit in upgrading to newer release as far as security reasons are concerned.

Sony Official ROM with security updates - Is it possible?

Hello,
I have just read that Android was the most vulnerable OS in 2016, and I feel concerned as a user of Z1 Stock ROM (based on Lollipop 5.1.1) version 14.6.A.1.236, released in 2015.
I was wondering if updating official rom from Sony with security updates released by Google on Android 5.1.1 is a project that the community could do?
I haven't found yet any tutorial to do it on xperia or any "obsolete" smartphone.
I know security is a main purpose of Jaguar Rom (by @optimumpro) but I would like to keep an Android Stock base (for camera & stability).
Thank you.
