Only see 'Word Mobile' & 'Excel Mobile', is there PDF/PP - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Software Upgrading

I see Word Mobile and Excel Mobile on WM5, how about PDF/PPT?
Should I get the ClearVue PDF/PPT Viewer v2.41.386 from WM2003SE? Or are there better one?

there should be a mobile ppt, but for pdf you can use clearview or adobe

you could for first install sprite backup and sprite monitor. very useful for monitoring battery usage and memory usage. This also helps backup issues.

Talking about must-haves for the Blue Angel on the hardware side, I've got a Krusell leather case which is more convinient to use than the supplied one. It's a flip open one, like the one supplied with the XDA 2i. I've got a Brando screen protector, and got one spare too, to protect the screen. Further, I bought a sync + charge cable from sfplanet.com, which I can carry to office etc., rather than the cradle which I keep docked to my home PC.
Must haves
I like PocketNav. Free, smaller, faster than other Today screen "closer" programs.

Instant Messaging Program
Do y'all know if anything in particular conflicts with Agile Messenger on a Blue Angel? I have an O2 version, with the active stuff turned off, and Agile Messenger keeps crashing it!!!
If it is Agile Messenger and not the cause of some other program, could you please suggest another multi-IM client?
Thanks!

Opera Mobile is much better at rendering pages than pie. It has tabbed browsing. It support ajax and flash etc...
I'm writing this reply with Opera Mobile. ;-)
What is the difference between Opera Mobile and Opera Mini? Thanks
d
Opera Mini is a java midlet. Its for phones that can't run the more fully featued mobile browser.

Office 2007

Hey guys, I was just poking around in my AT&T Tilt and I found a nice little surprise. AT&T was nice enough to include Office 2007 6.1 (the new updated version) in our ROM. I can't speak for the HTC ROM since I'm sticking with the AT&T one for now but I thought that was a nice little surprise considering that the download is not officially availaible (IIRC).
Nice find. I thought I had to DL it myself.
Yesindeed the TC has it as well. Only snag is that if your PC is using an older version of Office then you have to download a conversion plugin or else your PC cannot open the new file formats eg XLSX rather than XLS or DOCX rather than DOC.
Still no complaints and of course the Kaiser can open up the older Office docs no problem.
Mike
you can set the default document to be a .doc file instead of .docx (assuming you are using word that is)
Where is it on the phone?
How do you set default in Mobile Office to save document in .doc or .xls format instead of .docx and .xlsx format?
Thank you.

PDF form fillable on tilt?

I created a fillable form using acrobat 7, and stuck it on my tilt.
It comes up with pocket acrobat, but does anyone know how to get the
boxes to fill in to work? Or is it even possible?
tnx

XMLHttpRequest with the Alpine

Hi,
I have an Alpine rebadged as an O2 XDA IIi. I'm developing a web form that uses ajax, and so I need to be able to use the XMLHttpRequest object. I know that IE supplied in windows mobile doesn't support this, but Opera mobile does.
However, having installed Opera mobile, my ajax powered form still doesn't work. Is it possible that the XMLHttpRequest object has been disabled in this model (a suggestion from the opera website), and if so, how can I enable it.
Thanks
Richard.
