Dutch GPS enabled rom can now be downloaded from official dutch website:

Is this with the orange setting too?
Can you upload it to rapit or something like it?

Er is een nieuwe HTC P3600 ROM update beschikbaar. Deze update verbetert, onder andere, de kwaliteit van de GSM, GPRS en UMTS verbinding van het toestel. Daarnaast activeert deze update de geintegreerde SiRFStarIII GPS ontvanger van het toestel. De installatie-instructies treft u tevens aan in onderstaand bestand. Lees deze goed door alvorens u de update uitvoert. LET OP!: De Nederlandstalige ROM update is niet geschikt voor een Engelstalig toestel en andersom!

It's the official HTC ROM, released by Dangaard today.
I'm not sure about settings for the Orange nework, but I suppose that should not be a problem?..
I'm now uploading to rapidshare...

On the other rom is have the orange stetting ok but one not because when i get a mms the picture are too small. When i send it to myself it's also small.
On de dutch rom spv m700 that was ok but there were to mutch bugs in it and i have replace on from htc.
I hope if someone have installed this rom with orange setting and all is ok that they share it with us.

I have install it but now i have one problem.
When i put some cabs in the extended rom and get the file name's in Config.txt they won't be installed.
In the other rom that i had it works ok.
What must i change so that i can choose that all the programs are installed from the extended rom.

rom is not good
i have tried the new rom and i have a problem installing some .cab files and the device is much slower then with the dopod rom. Also there is no handwriting program and the voice commander isn't there.
So i will flash the dopod rom on my device because the dopod rom is much better.

I have also a vodaphone-SFR HTC with the original ROM. I am looking for the quickGPS applicaion.
I have copied all the files in windows directory. I can launch the quickgps application. Then, I have done a soft reset. After connexion to my laptop (windows Vista), I launch the application but there is an error message that the connection fails (even if I can surf with opera and IE).
Did you experience this probleme?
Don't we need a real cab file or to do some modification in the database?

Flash your ROM with the last one. It's not difficult with the HardSPL 1.40 Unsigned Olinex, and you can reverse the process by downloading and reflashing with SFR-Vodafone FR ROM, that you can download from the net, and you don't lose your 24-month warranty. The perfs of your diamond will increase dramatically (I've done it with my SFR branded Diamond last week...)

Hello matt92, thank you for your advice. I still have few questions.
How will te performance of the diamond will improve if I flash with a recent ROM and then flash again to the SFR ROM? Since, if I go back to the previous ROM I don't expect any change.
Are you sure that unlocking the device with HardSPL is not enough to lose the warranty?
Then last question, if I flash "back" with the vodaphone SFR ROM, I don't expect to have quickGPS as now. What did you use to install it?

No Calendar option on Today Screen
Nokser thanks for the rom. I have just installed on my XDA2 and i notice that their is no option to select Calendar for the Today Sceen view.
The only options are: date, Messaging and Device Lock. Could you please tell me what i have to do to be able to see this option.

Options for Calendar
When it comes to display a calendar in a Today screen, it can give you an entry in the register, but then you have to spread the ROM, because I do not like too much nawalone on your startup or in the registry editor for PPC ...

what do I do with nk.bf file?
is there any HimaUpgradeUt_noID.exe like with master ather's work?

Calendar Entry
Hi Nokser,
I have manged to copy the link into the registry from another PDA and i now have the option to display the calendar on the today screen.
I have had to use serialusbfn.dll from another post to allow me to sync with Vista but this is an old file compared to the one used on your version and even this is a bit 'hit and miss'. Any ideas why the original serialusbfn.dll that ships with the rom locks the device when i connect via USB even if i do de-select the option in Settings\System\USB to PC?
I have to say that i have had this same problem on every WM 6.1 Rom i have tryed so it is not just your rom!
My initial thoughts are that this is a good, quick rom.

Just extracted ROM from my brand new Orange branded Rhodium.
Don't know how to make an nbh so I send all raw data to the community
If someone could do a NBH Version that I could set back on my device in case of warranty issue, i will be very grateful.

I never took time to learn how to rebuild a ROM, so I can't help you on that, really sorry...
But I would be very grateful if you could tell me the French Orange Internet Explorer and Opera "User Agent" Infos because I'm on Orange too but I bought my Rhodium in Fnac, and it's the Official HTC ROM (which is quite good nevertheless), so I can't access to the Orange TV/video page !
It costs me 9€ per month for the TV MAX option and the Orange Hotline didn't help at all... :'-(
And the HTC HD TV settings didn't work for me (I'm on Orange Business Service, but I don't think it's the reason).

By the way, is there a specific Windows Mobile TV application from Orange on your Official Orange branded ROM ? (Or is it just a web page which sends the stream to PV Player ?)
Could it be possible to extract the Orange "post-install" CABs from your ROM (the ExtROM with registry entries, tweaks, themes, PV Player and Orange GPS, etc.) ?
It would be great if somenone could do it and post them in cab form, because I'm not sure I can do it myself (but I will try)...

change provider on MDA Compact IV

I have a T-Mobile MDA Compact IV, Dutch version. When I switched from T-Mobile to Vodafone, I had to change the Internet connection. T-Mobile has blocked this option.
I used a tool named "Dangaard Telecom Retail Customization", but I can't find it anymore.
I hope somebody here can help me with this tool or any other to connect me to Internet again (course I had to reset my phone).

Just flash a custom rom, it will remove all branded software and remove any prohibitions t-mobile put on there rom

Oh Oh wat leren we hieruit zorg ervoor dat je je tools altijd op jou pc hebt als backup, heb zitten zoeken maar kan het ook niet vinden.
Maar zoals hier al wordt gezegt een nieuwe rom flaschen dan ben je van jou probleem af

Eh, ook een tip waar deze beginneling die zou kunnen vinden?

Okay, thecrazudutchdiver told me again this was a lesson to take good care of my tools and advised me to flash the ROM.
I asked where I could find this (I's a beginner).

I've tried a flash of he ROM, but it stopped with a error-message.
I can't change the ROM becourse it was from a different provider.
T-Mobile seems to lock everything.
Can anybody help me, please?

before you can flash a rom you need to flash hspl
Unzip the files from the archive to any new folder
Run the executable
If you understand the caution and risks, check the box and click Next
Read carefully and follow all directions
If you completed all steps indicated, check the box and click Next
Next screen will show current version on device and by clicking Update you will see the version to be flashed
Click Next when ready
Your device might ask you for confirmation on launching a program. Just tap Yes! Your device will display a completely black screen. A Progress bar will appear on your computer screen. Be patient while your device is being updated. Do not interact with device in any way, do not unplug cable, do not turn off device or computer!
When upgrading is finished, your device will automatically soft reset. Click the ‘Finish’ button to exit the RUU.
To verify if you indeed have correct HardSPL on your device, enter Bootloader by pushing the reset button while holding volume down key on the side.
It should display "SPL-1.40.OliNex"
Now your ready to flash a rom of your choice

Make sure ur device is connected via active sync, and run ROMUpdateUtility.exe

I got "SPL-1.40.OliNex" in the display, so that works.
But when I try to update the ROM I got an error (translated):
ERROR [244]: INVALID MODEL ID
:-(

Thank you, thank you, thank you! After 20different downloads utilities of removing hardspl in t-mobile mda IV this one works! Thank you again.
