Not sure if this has been posted, or if this is the correct place to post.
does it have the radio rom 1.10.0 like the german o2 xda2s?
Is the German 1.31 ROM with the Radio ROM 1.10 avaible?
This rom has been posted in wiki (WWE)
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Upgrades
I checked the german link and did a search but found nothing
I've seen on german forums that the newly shipped o2 xdaIIs from germany have radio rom 1.10.0.
Same is true for the MDAIII, I am downloading a rom now and will post it in wiki
Well, I thought that I got the 1.10.00 rom from T-Mobile But I was wrong.
Sorry! its was a 1.00.00 !
Sorry for being a noob, what does (Cooked) mean in your sig?
will this upgrade work with asian IIs ?
I have seen a guy who bought his xdaiis in Singapore with the following version.
Can somebody take this ROM and load it here????
Many thanks!!!
Cheers,
Is there anyway of upgrading an O2 XdaIIs Asia Model with the CE ROM image only? I thought of changing an old 1.22 ROM with the correct Country Codes but its too much stuffing around if O2 Asia end up releasing a ROM updatet for the IIs. I tried upgrading but it keeps failing on 8%, i'm assuming because the encryption has been changed from 1.22 to 1.31. But when i try and install the 1.31 with its BAUpgradeUT it gives me a checksum error, but if i use an older version it failed on 8%.
Anyone know how to upgrade to this version/latest CE rom image?
According to coolsmartphone.co.uk there is a new UK M2000 ROM available at Orange website today :? Operator Version 5.40.1.179
http://www.orange.co.uk/M2000_patch/
Major apologies if I'm double posting here
Has anyone tried this yet - Ive tried the WM5 version and after fiddling with wm5 for days and finding it slower than wm2003 I reverted to the imate 1.40 rom for performance & stabilty - Anyone think is it worth upgrading to this one?
this is really 1.40 rom, its not win2005
I currently have a Blue angel running in the UK on a T-Mobile rom, unlocked and actually running on an Orange sim. I would like to update my Rom and believe there is a new version out for T-Mobile. But prior to upgrading my rom I am not fussed which Rom I use. Are there any recommendations on the best base rom out there in the UK?
Is it T-Mobile, Orange, O2 etc. I know they will be much the same but individual providers sometimes provide some extras etc. I believe O2 has the battery status on the home page etc. Can anyone recommend a good flavour of Base ROM???
I believe that the i-mate 1.42 is the best rom for stability, however the latest t-mobile rom is advantageous for those needing Blackberry support. The o2 rom however comes with the o2 active interface, which many people like however it really slow's down your ppc.
I'd advise you go for the i-mate rom. Hope this is of help

I run the UK T-Mobile version 1.42 and it's pretty fast and about as stable as i-mates, imo. I'd say if you're using 1.42 now, you're really not going to do any better, overall, unless you go to WM5. Then, however, you're opening a whole new can of worms as they're all hacks and therefore slow and buggy, comparatively speaking. You can find just about any rom on this site's ftp server, ftp://xda:[email protected]
You may get the T-Mobile Rom here
I advise that you follow the WIKI for installation instructions which may be found here
Enjoy!
Thanks Mark/Splonker my device indicates the rom version 1.06.00 ENG is this the version number I should be looking at??
Also sorry for the addition. Can I just do a full backup of my device contacts etc and when I upgrade restore?? Thanks John.
So .. T-Mobile and I-Mate seem to have a 1.42 base rom out. I can find the Dutch TMO 1.42 one (I have that running now), I can find the UK TMO 1.42 one, but where is the I-Mate 1.42 one? Can't find it at I-Mate and can't find it here at XDA Devs ...
Between these three, which is the best?
xBackup not in T-MOBILE 1.42 Radio DUTCH ROM
Just upgraded to T-MOBILE 1.42 Radio DUTCH ROM got my Wireless problem solved but have another problem NO XBACKUP how can I install it???
still trying to track down the english version of the tmobile latest rom any ideas/links anyone?? Thanks John.
I've found Orange 1.31 ROM/Extended ROM and radio 1.15 the best combination so far. For me, 1.4x ROMs were slower.
My Best Roms
XDA IIs UK from O2
1.Best ROM so far without doubt for me is the BA_TMNL_14200_119_11300_Ship from T-MOBILE
AND its the fastest..
2.Best ROM (slightly slower)
XDA 1.42 115 T-Mobile Firmware
3. I-Mates 1.40 WWE with Radio 1.13
still had an issue with audio dropping from incoming calls
If you've seen any of my previous posts you'll see the hell i've been in trying to get anything to work with these ROMS, now it ALL works. and I dont say that lightly!
i tried the last 2 factory ROMS from O2 UK 140.237 & 140.242 which is there latest and I had WIFI nightmares with both of those..
Since last week I own a T-Mobile MDAIII with: ROMN 1.22.01 GER, Radio 1.06.00, Protokoll Version 1337.38. I read long articles about the existing updates and how to update the pocket pc; what I am missing is: Where can I download the software. I am only interested in the ROM Bersion 1.42 and in the last radio update. Thank's for your help.
Post moved to correct forum.
Hi, which is the most current "official" i-mate firmware for the K-Jam in Australia?
Had a look in the Wiki and it appears to be 2.16.9.1, radio 2.07.10 Is that right?
Many thanks,
