i want to upgrade my PDA2K to WM5 but there seems to be a lot of threads and added fixes i can't keep track of all threads.
can someone tell me please what is final to upgrade???

hello i jsut got my hands on a xda2s, running:
1.40.00 WWE (o2 rom with mp10)
radio 1.12.00
my question is shal i upgrade to WM5 or keep it as WM4?
also if i decide WM5 isnt for me, can i revert back to orginal rom?
is mms supported in WM5 blueangel?
what would you recomend?

Although saying this, as I keep repeating in these types of posts, only upgrade or update if you feel comfortable doing it..
General Tips to you (and others)..
If you do want to update or upgrade then make sure you read everything through first.. Make sure you're happy in doing it.. Perhaps use the search function to read through others comments.. I would also recommend reading others comments about trying to downgrade from WM5 to WM2003SE to see what others have encountered
You will not believe the amount of people who end up posting questions when they've not followed the instructions from Wiki that I've pasted for you here..
Finally, if you are stuck, use the search command and describe your problem in the Keywords section, select Blue Angel from the Category and read through the posts relating to it before posting questions..

Just a couple of quick questions, what is the best update on here for my xda? Read a couple of people who have posted on here about thier updates and dont really know if i should update it at all?

ok, just took a look, and ill be quite honest with you, all kinda confusing lol
All im reaaly interested in is if its worth ugrading the software to wm5. I have read good and bad poins about it, like, runs slow, not everythin works, etc
Dont wantg to ruin the handset so other peoples opinions are helpful to me

You can try upgrading to WM5, and if you do not like it you can always downgrade to the latest WM2003SE rom there are few good versions of WM5 in the ftp try them and decide which OS you like more
TuMa 1.3, IMOA.
Seems the most stable WM5 ROM, though it does have one of two annoying bugs they are no worse then what WM2003SE has. It's not the fastest on a new install but it doesn't slow down much once you start using it.

There is also a new version of this ROM being developed (1.5 as 1.4 was too buggy) but this isnt in Alpha mode yet, so you might want to upgrade to 1.3 now and wait till 1.5 has been tested and becomes stable.

Sure, but experts here usually handle, tweaking/unlocking software, upgrading failures, erroneous behaviours and similar issues. That's why i said you could seek those sections since ROM cookers and testers hang there

how do i upgrade my 8125 wm5 to wm6, is this possible and if so im pretty sure it has been discussed so could you just give me some links or something. Also any links for oringal rom that comes with the 8125, i downloaded the upgrade from cingular.

I agree. I downloaded the upgrade but I am a little scared to flash since there has not been any other information given about the reliability of this upgrade. and It is great . I tried before the lite version and It was not so stable.

if you need to know some tecnical stuff you can search the forum or send a PM...
but that's only my point of view...
the main objective is to have as much software and OS's has possible compiled in the same thread...
