i have a question to all experienced rom cooker. Do u guys think there is any way to port only the Theme Engine of WM6 to WM5 ?
all "crossbow" tsk dont look like the wm6 theme engine.
I only would like to have the style of wm6 on my wm5 device. i tested the wm6 rom and to be honest i like the old style much better. wm6 as a everyday using OS is in my opinion much overloaded. for example sms writing and other stuff is more difficult than on wm5.

I don't know if what you're asking is possible, still I like wisbar for these things even with wm6.
I'm curious though, what's difficult about sms in WM6 ?
I suppose he's talking about the added steps....
What added steps is that? That the left softkey points to delete instead of new?
I also think that porting the wm6 eyecandy to wm5 would be quite hard...
Was wondering if anyone can help. I have done a few searches and still no luck. I have the t-mobile MDA WM5 and it came with there latest rom update 2.26.10.2 WWE Radio ver. 02.25.11. I want to change the skin for the dialer most programs I have tryed haven't worked I've tried phonethemes studio and some other program can't remeber the name... I some one can please piont me in the right direction please.

Since Hermes and Wizard, alongside general information and development & hacking, are starting TouchFLO topics I created this one.
Allthough much work has to be done, at least the TouchFLO theme is available for WM 6 users. Since we don't have that I wonder if it somehow can be made available for WM 5 users like us.

The only thing working on my BA is the .tsk file for the dark theme.
The today plugin won't work because it's made for wm6 using the wm6 sdk (duh!).
UPDATE:
I got the dialer and wireless/connection manager running on my BA!
The problem that I lost all sounds/mic on my device. The connmanager works and the phone make calls. But I can't hear anything and nobody can hear me. There is no beeps from the fone or anysound from programs. The solution I've found is hard-reset. I'll keep trying.

The today plugin still not working.
Ok, the dialer works but smartdialing stops working after first call.
The problem with no sounds from the phone is with the connmanager. Do not install it unless you want your device to be totally silent.
I have installed both the Comm manager and dialer and I have no sound issues, all my sounds work fine!
same here, no problems with the sound.
I do have the smardial problem though.

Wisbar theme
Is there a black wm6 theme that will work with Wisbar 3?
I cant find one...
I will try the conn manager again (which version are you guys using?).

touchflo ui will never be available in WM5, also it depends on the HTC touch touscreen driver, if simeone post a hacked one it will be available on the other wm6 devices, but for now no other than HTC Touch Has it. also not mentioned things in touch rom are the new windows live messenger (10.6.00.28.2700) and the new arcsoft mms 4.0.31.21) IA Zip(1.20.27526.0), Smart Dialing(2.5.27526.0), Sim Manager(6.13), Sim Access Profile, Adobe Reader LE, HTC Audio Manager, HTC Audio Today Plugin, (ported them all to wm5, and will include them in my next rom or as cabs). All of you are crazy about the gui stuff (which is not working well in wm5) but forget the important things
The today plugin would be nice but not really necessary. The comm manager have a better aparence and so the dialer.
My dialer displays the options for smart dialing but the problem is after I make or receive a call smart dialing will stop working so I need so softreset it.
As for the cube flip thing I'm not interest in it.
Basically I like the gray color scheme, the way comm manager looks and the dialer. The today plugin I got a mokup working with rltoday but it was too slow to change pages as it uses mortscript to replate the rltoday config file and reload the app.

I will be looking forward your next release. What I'm saying about the touch ui it's just about the colors and visuals. If it's possible to change the colors from our current conn manager and have the dial pad like the touch one (bigger keypad) that would be nice.
As far buying the "touch" it's not a possibility right now ($) and the only reason I have the BA is because a friend gave it to me.

I know it is sort of GUI, but when Helmis WM6 ROM comes out (thanks so much Helmi), will it be possible to port the actual touchFLO interface where you dont need a stylus to read email and suchlike to the BA in WM6?

When that ROM comes out the possibilities will be the same as for other devices running WM6 so search other forum sections where available touch apps are discussed. As for the stylusless inbox control I believe the hardware upgrade would be required for its proper work.

I cant find anything usable in other threads, they're just speculating on whether the BIOCUBE will work. Can anyone provide a cab, or some other form of installing it (this is assuming we are using Helmi's WM6 BA ROM)?

there's quite a few actually
chk out the Lakeridgesoftware website in the forums they have a skins and themes section that has qwuite a few for free download, just make sure you get a QVGA version.
Also a quick google search for "4PDA.ru wisbar" will give you a russian site that has quite a few on there that aren't on the lakeridge site, and a efw that are. =)

Yes, I dont actually care now cos helmi has made a wm6 rom for the ba, but thanks anyways!
So I've heard a lot of people stating they've "Upgraded to WM6.1", and I'm just wondering:
Does this mean they've flashed to schap's (or another WM6.1, sorry I can't remember anymore of the top of my head) WM6.1 ROM or have they got a MS standard ROM from Microsoft? Is there a standard WM6.1 ROM available for the Kaiser (not one that's been cooked)?

There's no standard WM6.1 from Microsoft (not one that we can download any how).
I've upgraded to one of Dutty's Beta 6.1 roms (it's private, hopefully a full release will be out soon). But Schaps should be OK for now.

I have a Motorola MPX200 and a HTC Tornado, both of them with WM6 in Spanish, because M$ haven't released Spanish MUIs yet (wm6.1 localized images doesn't exists yet)...
If anybody knows how to use chome for wm6, your help will be appreciated...
