Which ROM to use for A2DP Blueotooth Stereo. - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Software Upgrading

Hi
I have installed the latest IMATE ROM only to find out no A2DP feature.
I have also installed the QTEK rom 2.17.72.2 and again no A2DP.
Other threads talk of a QTEK test rom with A2DP feature. Could someone please provide a link to the file.
many thanks.

Yes i'm currently running it and on my machine the rom is pretty stable.
Although i've read other story's
I've got the iphono mini headphones and it works nicely.
the beta rom is on the ftp of this site, this is the english one:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Wizard/Roms/Qtek/RUU_Prodigy_2080701_101_11310_Qtek_WWE_Test.exe

What todo next?

I took the shipping rom from the FTP, replaced the radio rom, and upgraded, then I ran the BT3900.cab on the phone..
So now I got:
Rom 1.22.00WWE
Radio 1.08.00
ExtRom 1.22.557 WWE
BT 1.0.0.3900
Anything else I can do? or MUST do?
What else can you recommend to install?
I got TomTom3 on it too..
I hope that the radio/bt upgrade is working better with my SonyEricsson HBH30 and the BT GPS..
Well the biggest bug is in the BT.
Im testing Radio 1.08.00 with BT .3900 and it is the best i've tried until now. You can get on the Wiki and start reading about what to do and not. Your current settings looks fine, asuming it's a Dangaard sold device.
The ROM numbers is not always better just because they are higher!!
Thanx bosjo..
the BT is working GREAT!!
I think the wifi is better to, I have better connection now.. hmm...

that's about the Qtek rom.
I'm also looking for the dutch K-Jam rom, as it appears to be the rom with the least issues.
Anyone got it?
There is no Dutch K-JAM ROM...
what about the QTEK
so how good is the qtek rom then? i heard bluetooth is not working properly.
is it better then the tmobile rom? ( i use bluetooth a lot to control my HTPC and to sync)
i read that the tmobile rom can not be placed back once i flash my device with a different rom is this true?

I heard alot of people complain about the bluetooth in Qtek rom, so if you use that alot, you shouldn't flash to that one.
If you make a backup of your current Tmobile Rom, why wouldn't you be able to place it back? It's just a ROM like the others.

One place, lots of questions.

Hi all,
As this is my inaugural post and I am a noob I decided to add all my eggs to one basket.
I have an I-mate K-jam and currently have this ROM installed on it.
RUU_TMobile_US_226102_22610105_022511_WEE_Ship
Along with:
REAL_Radio_2.61.11
IPL 2.26
SPL 2.26
GSM 02.61.11
OS 2.26.10.2
I first started messing around with the ROM version as the latest ROM from Imate did not work properly with Vista as there was a section missing that allowed you to switch between RNDIS and Serial connection over USB.
I first installed AKU3.2-1.ORC1 which I got from this site and that also did not have the Switch software included.
Anyway I then decided as I was messing around I would unlock the CID as I was going to install the AKU 3.3 from Faria. So I followed the instructions and downgraded and unlocked the CID (whatever that is) and it was recommended to install the T-Online ROM so as to get a stable IPL/SPL 2.26.
I followed all the instructions and everything worked perfectly and the T-Online ROM had the USB to PC software included so I decided not to bother upgrading further.
I also was not happy with the Bluetooth functionality with the Imate AKU hence upgrading, but all the ROMS or AKUs whatever you want to call them are all the same, the bluetooth functionality is crap and limited to only OBEX push.
Is there an ugrade to the bluetooth stack that will give me full functionality and not just this cut down version.
Also the Phone upgrade I did to 02.61.11 is awful, I was running 02.26.... before upgrading and that version had a proper phone display with nice blue buttons and stuff, this new one has nasty grey buttons and keeps popping up the address book as soon as you type a number. Can someone intergrate the better functionality of the 61.11 version with the look of the 02.26 version please?
If I upgrade to the AKU 3.3 will this include the USB to PC in settings -> Connections? will it include a fully functional Bluetooth stack? will it include the better look and feel of the phone with the upgraded functionality?
So my questions are:
Where can I get a fully functional Bluetooth stack from?
Is it worth upgrading to AKU3.3?
Can the functionality of 2.61 and the look and feel of 2.26 be combined into a better radio ROM?
Sorry for being a newbie but everyone has to start somewhere and i have read through all 19 pages of this forum and not found what I want to know, but this could be because I do not know half of what you are talking about.
Cheers

1. there's only microsoft bluetooth stack for wizard
2. yes
3. radio version doesn't have anything with look and feel of the phone application
Ah ha now I understand things abit more, I installed the AKU 3.3 version and am now happy with my K-jam except for the bluetooth functionality which sucks but you can't have everything can you
Cheers

Well I use it to connect to my stereo bluetooth headset listening to music. and so far it's been working fine. I have never tried with handfree headset though.
What do you do before you install the cab file if anything? Do you remove the old bluetooth files and drivers?
nah, simply install the cab file.

problem with SPB Diary
hi all
from the last time I found the problem with this BT driver was conflict cause by SPB Diary 2.2.1
does anyone know why or what to do with that?

What is Hima's Bluetooth version after upgrading to WM6.1?

Hi! I have recently upgraded my Hima to ather's clean rom version. In the original rom, the bluetooth is version 1.1 or 1.2 or something. After upgrading, will the rom also upgrade my bluetooth to 2.0? I ain't really sure if the bluetooth version is actually software or hardware in nature.
Rudegar, every single one of the above posters 5 posts is spam.
EDIT: Thanx for fixing. Post is ok now.
