Qtek 9100 Swedish --> English?

Greetings,
I have a 9100 with the Swedish ROM. I want to replace it with an English version. I have done the CID unlock using Lokiwiz. Now I'm wondering:
1. Can I load the WW English ROM over the Swedish version, is it likely to
work and does the character recognition work (which it doesn't in the
Swedish version).
2. Or should I use the i-Mate ROM instead?

i have a qtek 9100,its gem!i tried flash to chs ,cht and eng ,its ok,no problem

guys, just download the latest qtek 9100 rom fro myqtek.com and run it. you should have no problems about that.

Upgrading to another language

Hi all,
Suppose I have an Qtek 9100 with an English version of Windows Mobile 5, is it then possible to use the on hand (FTP) Dutch Qtek 9100 Rom update in order to get this Qtek 9100 updated with a Dutch WM5 version?
I'm asking because I once had a Qtek 9090 which needed a Rom update. But when I tried to use the official Qtek Rom update back then, the updating process failed due to this "Country ID error".

i have an i-mate Kjam with English language installed.
i-mate doesn't have a portuguese language Rom's for This phone
can i install the Qtek 9100 portuguese Rom on it???

Yes, you can install the portuguese rom nad will work.
You have the Portuguese ROM for Qtek? I'm searching the net but i can't find...

Yes...you can install any language you want, but you have to UNLOCK the CID first, in order to install the ROM you want...

I have the T-Mobile MDA Vario , it was running English version of OS, I unlock it and installed the Dopod 838 Chinese version of OS....without problem....

Can't check it now but you should find a qtek9100 portuguese versoin someone posted on the xda-developers ftp.
At least it used to be there...

i now have an i-mate KJam with Qtek 9100 Rom's and I-mate splash logos :lol:
it's for a friend of mine. As for my own KJam i'll try to find the AKU2 Qtek portuguese ROM. I f someone knows where to get it please post here or PM me.

How to make Engilh Qtek?

My QTek 9100 has been on German e-plus network.
It's working fine now on my local mobile providers in Croatia and Montenegro.
The problem is ... I don't know German and everything in my QTek 9100 is on German language.
When I turn it on, it dislays
IPL 2.18
SPL 2.18
GSM 02.07.10
OS 2.18.7.7
So, what have I to do to make Windows and other files to "work" on English language?
Have I to change ROM?
Where to find (download) such ROM?
What else?
Any suggestion is welcome, as I am complete novice in this matter.
