hi is anyone having the same problem or know the solution...
Active sync appears on the screen showing the last time mobile was sync and freeze the PDA. even on reboot it stay freeze on the same screen. only after using safe mode reboot can you use the phone again but later on during the day it will freeze again with the same problem. I couldn't check the schedule sync frequency for i was trying to deactivat it.
If anyone knows how to, please let me know..

I've installed SPB MS2 and P+ and the Kaiser Tweak.
Oddly, on my Today screen I get the rotating prism indicating a running application or booting application when there is none running or booting. It appears for a 1/2 second every few seconds. Even a soft reset doesn't fix it. Usually, if I shut the phone down overnight it is corrected when powered up in the am, but not this am.
I checked my memory and "running programs". Nothing there. I turned off my weather updater and my activesync.
What gives? Anyone?

DL'ed it and found the camera program operating in ghost mode but that did not eliminate the issue. Any other ideas from anyone?
I have a problem this sometimes and I think I have discovered that it is my SPB PocketPlus Today Plug-In.
I usually deselect the plug-in in the SPB pocketplus options and OK it, then turn it back on again and the problem stops.

Now this is interesting. I had not tried this. My PP is not enabled for my Today screen but my MS2 is (I have a PP tab for my MS2). I unchecked MS2 and the problem stopped. But, my touchscreen locked up so I had to soft reset. On restart the problem is gone. Re-selected the MS2 and issue is gone.

ok so my screen broke without dropping my phone or falling or anything...but thats beside the point. the week before my phone started ****ing up and was super slow and started freezing all the time. i had to reset it about 10 times a day. so i would just get someone to guide me to copy them to my sim but....i dont know if it will freeze or work so i cant really do that. so is there anyway to just pull the contacts off the phone. and would it be better to do on vista or xp? i know i could just replace the screen and take it back...if im extra carefull.....but i think i might be able to just swap it and i would like to save the 70 bucks if i can. any suggestions? this sucks so bad....from tilt back to razr.....i just need my numbers really though. any help is appreciated!
well if u can still see using your screen u can jsut backup your contacts using pim, if not why not just sync if to your computer?
well.....my screen is kinda broken....thus the title of the thread. could i just sync it with outlook or do i need to do anything on the phone to actually sync it? would that pull all of them off onto outlook or when you sync does it just pull all your contacts off the computer onto the phone? ......sorry for the newb sync question....dont really use outlook that much
Download MyMobiler, http://www.mtux.com/ it should show what your screen should be showing and you don't have to do anything on you phone to use it, well on most roms depends on security settings if its stuck saying installing press the key next to the green call button. (i think). Then use Pimbackup can you can control the phone through mymobiler
HI guys/ gurus; i dont know if this is the correct place to post this but i havent seen a solution to this:
1) My job keeps me away from my computer so i need to download my emails to my phone. My phone syncs with gmail and syncs at regular intervals. This only happens if the phone is not off ( standby mode) When the phone goes into standby mode; the auto sync does not work.....till i manually turn on the phone....any way around to download emails in the background....and also wake on new email...( same like wake on new sms)
2) I would like to change my phone dialer...i have seen many posts and every time i try to install them the dialer comes up in one corner of the screen. i.e it does not fill the screen as shown in the pics. What am i doing wrong?

I've been looking for a LONG time now for a program that will let me send/recieve my emails on my touch pro at something like 1 minute or so instead of the 5 minutes default. Now i found this thread in another forum here at XDA.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332960 ...
This program does everything i want it to but only when the phone is awake.. when its in standby mode (the screen turned off) the program doesnt run and therefore doesnt receive my emails.. Has anyone else used this program and if so do you have a fix for this? or able to fix it?

hello can someone please help i have a big problem that VERY agravating. everytime i connect my tilt a msg pops up that says "microsoft office outlook has stopped working" i have checked the sync status and it wont sync, it also doesnt give anyreason why? ive updated ms office on my phone and it still does. how can i stop this, its very aggravating b/c it just keeps popping up and WILL NOT STOP! thanks for the help.
I think your active sync might have been disabled by the power optimizer software on your phone. Go to advanced setting and check under miscellaneous: Enables or disables activesync. Choose enabe, click done and apply soft reset.

On a seperate note, one of my qwerty keypad buttons fell out on my phone, and i tried super glueing it back(stupid, i know), but some of the glue went into the phone, spread into a few keys, and now,
when i plug my phone into my PC, it doesnt sync, it only charges.
I fiddled with the phone a bit and discovered it doesnt know it is plugged into a PC, it thinks its plugged into a wall. But once in a while, it syncs, sometimes for a day, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for a few seconds.
anyone else had this problem, and know any fixes/solutions?
In case a mod sees this, can i open a thread to ask this question?
