hi just recently bought a o2 xda minis and the o2 software has alot of junk i was wondering if i can use just windows mobile 5.0 alone or any suggestions to a better rom thank you

Hi I got a brand spanking gorgeous XDA IIs yesterday (3/12/04). It is on O2 and I want to put my work sim on Orange in. I have found plenty of people able to unlock the XDA II for just a couple of pounds but they are saying they can't do the IIs. Any guru out there got the solution?.

I got my O2 XDA IIs from West London and I switch from my O2 sim and Cingular sim (here in Hell-A) with no problem. There's a fone store in Kensington which unlocked my XDA IIs for 15 Quid.

Hi, ive just upgraded to mobile 5 and its so more stable that mobile 2003 on my xda iis it hasent locked or soft reset once yet
but im kinda stuck as to how i put my gprs settings back on and o2 active information....ive been on the o2 web site got the information but cant put it in to my xdaiis

as what I know there is no WM2005 for XDA IIs yet, are you sure you are holding XDA IIs and not XDA II ?
Yep its the black 1 on o2 with xda iis in top right hand corner I got the rom update from

same with me but i downgraded because it was too unstable.
I have a XDA mini s and I see that the specs state that it has no EDGE. The HTC Wizard, Qtek 9100, Imate k-jam all have EDGE Connection. I thought all the phones were the same exept for the software. Can anyone tell me if the EDGE missing on the XDA Mini s is a software issue or a hardware issue. If its a diffrence in software can I update my XDA to the software of the HTC or the Qtek? Thanks a lot in advance.
saw a rom months ago that when installed got rid of need of sim card and made phone into basically a wifi only android device. getting a galaxy s II and wanted to give my old one to my son for games and music. anyone remember what that rom was called?
