They certainly can, but there might be incompatible makes of cards. I personally tested a 150x 4Gb SD card in my IIi. Not sure who manufactured it, however.

Hi
I'm using Memory Booster Pro V4.0 on non-rooted X8 (I don't want root it yet due to warranty).
I found problem with sim card registration. Approximately once a day I got error "sim card registration problem" or something like that. Then I have to enter my PIN again to get it working.
Any idea Lads to get this sorted? Any help appreciated.

in this instant on age....it adds another 3 secs to boot up time
I think this is normal.
On my tablet (4.0) and also old android phone (2.3.7) it does that at every boot up. I beleive it's updating it's card file index, how else would the mobile know if you had altered any files on the card while it was turned off?
pato
Hai all,Never happen with 8 g card until today i put in new 32G memory card & select Yes when auto ask to transfer media files to Ext card. Now each on will notice card syn & sim card also syn?? Dont know why??
This is huge for me. I really really wanna get this phone, but having an sd slot is crucial for me. This thing is a beast. I've been looking everywhere but can't seem to find any info on whether this will have it. If anyone has an info that in not aware of please let me know. Any speculation on whether it will or not? Please, please, please!!! Tell me it will!!!!

32GB internal storage only. No flagship (non-moto G/E) Moto phone during the Google era has had an SD slot. None of the "Google" phones do and as the Motorola line has basically been unofficial Nexus devices for the past year or so... No SD slot. They want you to use Drive if you need additional storage. I know that's not ideal for many due to connectivity/bandwidth issues but alas, that's what they want.
Many of the ISP-Branded Machines doesn't have an SD card slot.
I hate not having external storage myself. I like to keep my media on it (ringtones, notifications, music, etc) and when I flash its already there and when I change phones moving it is as simple as moving the sd card. Nowadays with cheap storage having to download something which I could already have on my own phone and available instantaneously is in my mind a step backwards without even considering the fact that the data doesn't exist without a connection and there are still plenty of holes in coverage where I'm from. It isn't that I don't like cloud storage, I do for certain data, but not for all of it.
But yes, the fellow is correct, Goog and the Fruit are both working very hard to make sure they have access to as much of our data as possible. Screw the people, the boy wonders want the champagne on the corporate jet to flow vigorously because everyone knows more money than you can ever spend in a lifetime just isn't enough. Long live corporate greed.
No SD card.
will have 32gb and 64gb internal memory.

Hello, I lost my contents from sd card, mainly 360 videos. I woke up and clean master was running and asked it detected junk and as usual I just asked it to clean. Shockingly it was 12GB of junk, which it should not have been..SIGH...Anyway, I am trying to get contents back and my sd card shows 12GB available now from 16GB, any help please?
Connect card to pc and try one of many undelete programs. If you didnt write anything to card, you should be able to recover all files.

Dears please help I've been struggling with this for the past week!
My internal storage is full and I don't wanna reinstall or do a factory reset and I don't know what's filling it! The apps are all moved to the SD card (at least the large ones that it let me move) and to be honest I don't have a lot of apps and since I got this device a year ago I never faced this problem.....
Any inputs? Ideas? Anyone else having this issue?
I have the 32gb version dual sim
