Audio player recommendations

Hi,
I tried using Windows Media player to play songs but they do not support copy right m4a files and other misc audio formats. Thus i used TCPMP player which is good to solve the problem but it does not have a SEARCH function.. any advice and other takes on other audio players?
Audio Manager is good. Works when display is off.
S2P or Slide 2 Play is the best one.
Audio manager is good but you can't specify a single folder to use, it will automatically scan for all mp3 and sometimes other audio files on the mem card. I it wasn't for that I would say Audio Manager.
I tested S2P but it does not have the SEARCH function, it doesn't even support playlist function... but its interface is very nice... any more better audio players out there?
I use Mortplayer and I also tried GSPlayer earlier on (both shouldn't be hard to find).
DUDE, this is a phone not an mp3 or a qps device. You don't need to play audio..
tcPiMP gets my vote.
Mort Player
Mort player is my favorite!
It has it all - great for Audio books too!
Get it here:
Stable version
Beta version
Vista Skin
or see below...
Enjoy!

are you kidding me? why do people like you always chime in like this w/ irrelevant replies
"i dont use my phone for this, so i think its dumb that anyone else uses its for (blank) purpose"
if you forgot, there are phones like the iphone, sony ericson music phones, nokia n series, etc that are great multipurpose phones...which is EXACTLY what the kaiser is. if you're gonna stick w/ that ideology why don't you stick to a nokia 3395.
PocketMusic Rocks
For me this is a serious bit of kit. It's my phone, GPS, personal organizer and now an MP3 player in the car. That was made possible with PocketMusic - http://www.pocketmind.com/pmfp.htm
Get the full version otherwise the real benefits are not seen.

Play OGG on WM6.1 Kaiser?

Hi, I would like to be able to play OGG media files on my kaiser. I installed TCPMP but when I run it I get an "Unexpected program failure".
Is there any other software one can use, or a way to install the codec so media player can use it?
thanks!
GSPlayer
seems that GS Player was all I could find. It's pretty poor compared to "audio manager" but does the job if necessary.
lol you wont find anything official. When do you ever see Mr Gates wanting to support any form of open source
I use PocketMusic to play my ogg's and mp3's, works great! Not free though..
The Mort Player !!

Pocket Player vs. CorePlayer / Flash Player

Will the Pocket Player do/play everything the Core does? I'm leaning towards the Pocket Player since it does streaming audio. Also, when I attempt to stream video from some sites it says I need to have the lastest flash player. Exactly what flash player do I need? I have Adobe Flash installed on my Tilt but it still says I need ti get the latest Flash Player. Any thoughts or recommendations?
flash player
The flashplayer they are referring to is flash 9 I believe, for notebooks/ desktops.
.
go to adobe website and download the mobile flash player and install it. Pocket player is much better organizing and selecting music. the only advantage is see coreplayer has over pocket player is coreplayer is able to play MOV video files.
i have installed from adobe, still no video. just sound on the coreplayer. i am out of ideas. i tried everything that i found on xda. oh well, guess i will just watch youtube at home

Windows Media Player Problems

Ever since I upgraded(yeah right..) to Windows Mobile 6.1 I cant play videos through windows media player. On 6.0 I used to watch MPEG-4, and ASF videos all the time. Since I upgraded though WMP wont play MP4 videos, and ASF playback is so choppy its impossible to watch. What can I do to fix this without installing another media player application?
Custom rom or stock rom?
Carrier branded device, or unlocked htc device?
Edit:
Actually, how about you give us as much details as you can about your device and what you've tried so far
Im using the official Windows 6.1 rom on an ATT Tilt w/o any other apps running. The MPEG files I used to play on my phone before were no longer supported by WMP. I tried re-encoding the files and that didnt work. I tried lowering the quality and that hadnt worked. I searched google and saw that WMP only supported mp3 and ASF files so I encoded the video as an ASF and that worked but playback was extremely choppy. I cant really think of anything else to do so I came on here.

Ok OK....What I want to know is how the hell did you get WMP to play it before????????? WMP doesn't play MP4 never did. Anyway, If you can play the videos you have on the Desktop Windows Media Player, hook up your, open Desktop WMP, hit Sync Tab, Sync your phone(and/or Storage card), select the video to sync list, and sync. Desktop version will convert for mobile version. If you can't play the videos in Desktop Media Player then you'll have convert the video in something it can play. TCPMP and Coreplayer are way better, but I use Media from time to time.

Itunes for windows mobile?

Is there any way to get Itunes for wm6.1 or what's the best music player for the HTC Fuze? Thanks
Are you referring to a player on the phone or syncing music from the PC? If the later, Windows Media Player does a fine job of syncing music to WM devices.
you can us kinoma to play itunes, but unless you pay for teh program you will have limited access to all teh functions of the program.
