hey guys, im currently on the tmobile 5.99 proxy internet deal. for those that are not familiar, i log on using a specific proxy address. the problem is that some programs dont work, most importantly windows live. for all the other email accounts i can change the settings to connect to my work instead of the internet, and then they work. is there anyway to force windows live to connect to my work instead of the internet? any kind of reg hack or anything? thanks

Hi,
I'm an IT Student in my last year university in Belgium. My campus uses a network where hotspots are available every 5meters.
The network encryption is WPA2 and I succeeded to get connection with the school network but I can't set up a proxy to browse internet or use Windows Live Messenger on my Diamond.
Can anyone help me with this? I used Google and other search engines possible solutions but none worked.
I tried setting up a proxy under my connection tab and changing the network type to 'work' but that didn't help.
Any suggestion or push in the right direction are very appreciated!

Hi,
Same Problem here. Any Solution?
For browser proxy, try opera:config in the opera built-in browser and setup the proxy. For msn, I couldnĀ“t find a solution yet.
I know for browser you can use an older version of Opera which has configurable proxy settings.
For MSN you can just use Ebuddy or something I guess?
Is that like a system wide proxy?
sorry to double post but that filename doesnt look very 'safe'. can anybody verify what it is?
Hi. I have the same problem here. I enable the proxy but it has no effect. Please any help?
Hello, I found a solution to use proxy on opera browser: type "opera:config" in address bar, then select proxy menu and set the proxy.
seeu!

Hi,
why do you want to use two connections for that? Weather and RSS also work over web.vodafone.de
I don't know any reason to use the wap-APN.
2 GPRS connections at the same time - parallely
Hi there,
Regardless if there are other ways to avoid two parallel gprs connections - I have (well had) exactly this: I use Blackberry client on my Touch Pro, this opens a gprs connection called "Blackberry" and if I update the weather or do any surfing, it opens another connection. I can then see them in the connection bubble. Very useful in my opinion.
Unfortunately, I just changed my ROM to a cooked one. And these two connections don't work anymore. Bad, as also the automatic email checking on my non- Blackberry accounts doesn't work anymore.
So if somebody knows, what to do to enable parallel gprs connections, please post it. I know it works as I had this working for 6 months without flaws.
Hi,
I'd like to ask if anyone has ever tried internal Windows Mobile sip client on Opal (HTC Touch Viva)
Can you please share your experiences ?
Thanks.
