hi! i have a mda III, until now you only can get the unlock code by paying 15 pounds to T-Mobile. I tkink that soon will appear an unlock tool on this web page, like xda2unlock.exe for the XDA II.
Do you know if we could unlock the mda III by changing the entire ROM (including the extended rom and the radio rom) for the Qtek 9090 one? If someone knows it, please let us know. Thanks.
You can't unlock the phone by changing the rom.
Then, where the simlock is located? out of the ROM perhaps? I don´t understand because all the devices (MDA III, Qtek 9090, Imate PDA2K...) are the same gadget and all come from HTC, so all its parts except for the ROM program would have to be equal. If you know the answer, please, let me know. Thanks.

Sure, the simlock is in the rom
so, changing the rom by sd card on boot loader is for me the solution
you have to test it
Could you be litle more specific about changing rom with sd card on MDA3 ?

I tried to unlock Wizard from TMobile with xda all unlocker but it would not work..This phone asks to enter unlock password..unlike other wizard models from O2, Qtek...If anyone knows solution to unlock this phone, please help, thanks

I have my MDA III from T-Mobile and I've tried to unlock the sim to be able to use anywhere in the world
previously with my MDA II I was able to do everything that I want ..
What is happening is when I try to run the EXE file to unlock the phone nothing happen stuck on 0% and after while say FAILED??
any one please can help me ?

diid u try calling t-mobile and simply asking them for the unlock code??? (assuming u got the phone through "proper" channels).

I just bought a T-Mobile Wing and wanted to unlock it for international usage and loading WM 6.1 (custom cooked ROMS). I hope the procedure would be same as I did with my previous WIZARD.
Can someone help me here in this regard?

One Thread hat done it as well, for the rest you hat only to use the first Thread in Herad or Herald Mobil 6.

Even after doing the Hard SPL the device is asking for unlock code if I insert a foreigh sim card.
I tried doing the USPL also. Same results.
After Hard SPL I also tried to install Touch_IT_wm6.1_Full_-Herald_P4350.zip ROM. It installed well but show same SIM locked error.
Please let me know the steps to start fresh and unlock the phone for international usage. I also wanted to load custom rOM but as SIM not supporting so not able to proceed further.
Apreciate any help in this regard.
