Has it been concluded yet which is the best radio ROM for the UK?
I have tried searching but cannot find any posts regarding radio in the UK. All the posts seem to be which the best radio is in the US.
Any UK tech gurus out there that can comment?
All replys will be gratefully received.
Thanks,
Steve.

Hi to all seniors, I am a newbie, and have seen on the Universal group, there is a new radio version 1.4.10, which was vaguely announced that the voice is better, and also quicker response. Has anyone tested it on XDA IIs? I am curious about this news.

Can't use XDAIIs , XDAIIs is 1.13.00
Universal has difrend hardware, so it will not work at all, or maybe if you try to flash it into blueangel you may trash it
Hi, i'm new to this forum, but i've read a lot of threads and posts.
I bought a P3600 2 months ago. And it came with WM6 installed, cause i didn't buy it in a official store, i bought it by internet.
The point is do not like WM6 very much because it has a lot of bugs.
My question is, with WM5 can i use gps? Is there any good reason to use WM6 instead of WM5?
Thanks in advance. I'm from Argentina, sorry for my english

Unless I am presenting ... my name is Nicola and I live in lagonegro (South Italy)... I hope to be able to give help in my little experience and knowledge regarding handhelds...
now you remove a curiosity... the pda O2 xda ignito is compatible with the Italian phone company? work in Italy? and you can update the ROM with an official or not htc diamond? thanks a lot... and sorry for my english...
Nicola
I would suggest the answers to all of your questions are yes. Most of the O2 handsets are SIM free - if for any reason this model is not then it can be unlocked to work on the italian networks
hello, thank you for your answer... I also wanted to know if actually this pda is good or not... it can be a viable alternative to diamond?
thank you
Its essentially exactly the same as the Diamond, with the exception that the back cover is flat and not bevelled.
From what I know this O2 Ignito is an HTC Diamond. So, it probably has a default O2 ROM on it, but the hardware is all the same.
Hi all, I have been reading the forum for a couple of years now and its really helpful and i want to thank you, but this actually is my first post ever. Usually I find everything I need in here, but I don't post messages, just because I don't really understand and know a lot about the topics discussed here.
Anyways, I recently bought MDA Compact IV with WebNwalk(I was using MDA Vario II for a couple of years) from T-Mobile in the Netherlands. My problem is that the device is with Dutch Rom, meaning everything is in Dutch, which is a problem for me couse I don't know Dutch. My questions is if I install WWE Rom on the device, will I be able to use the webNwalk with the new Rom. I tried to search for that in the forum, but I couldn't find anything.
Your help will be highly appreciated, Thanks
yes, but make sure your phones sim/ cid unlocked before trying any cooked rom installs.
Read the diamond wiki & upgrading/ installing roms threads etc...
No matter what language your phones on, if u have a dutch t-mobile web n walk deal going, you'll get access to the web np's i would think.
