XDA Mini S Swap For XDA 2i - PDA2, XDA IIi, 2020i General

I apologise if this is he wrong thread but would anyone like to swap my Brand New XDA Mini S for and mint condition XDA 2i
You may think I am mental but I really want my XDA 2 i back
Thanks

why you really want XDA 2i back???

I may not understood the diferences between this two models but all I saw makes me belive that Alpine is much better than Wizard. Am I wrong?

I want to get my self a proper PDA size phone
The XDA2i is excellent but I don't enjoy using it as much as I did the XDA 2i
I don't use the phone function, so all I really wany is a nice size screen and the option to have a phone if I need one

So let me clarify, you have a XDA Mini S, and want to swap for a XDA 2i?
I've just got borrowed a Mini S, as I mostly use my XDA 2i for messaging, and have so far found the Mini S a lot easier with the keypad.
So I'm definitely looking to move from a XDA 2i to XDA Mini S.
Where in the UK are you based?
Regards,
Rob K

You still aiming to swap?

I will swap and include car mount, im Birmingham

XDA I and Compact Flash

Sorry for the stupid question, but i'm not definitely sure about this:
Is there *any* way to connect a Compat Flash card to an XDA I? Via some kind of connectors, Expansion Packs, official or thirdh-party made?
Thanks
No, this option is available only on XDA II through a back pack

Really? I though the XDA I and II had compatibles accessories...
Then it's not possibile to use the XDA II back pack in XDA I, is it...?
Uff... :'''(
thanks anyway, Biso007
no the xda1 can only connect thing to it's lower connector

worth upgrading to XDA Exec?

I have the XDA IIs and am thinking of selling it and replacing it with the XDA Exec. Do any of you think its worth the upgrade? It would really fix the keyboard and the stylus being loose and all.
Talk to me ppl.. help me decide what to do?

Upgrading from a XDA2 to 2i

hi all
Simple question is it worth upgrading from a xda 2 to 2i as i am getting annoyed about the speed of the unit
Cheers
Neel
XDA 2 and XDA 2i is totally different device. If you thinking about speed, there's other model wspeed like XDA 2i. For your information, there's no Extended ROM Unlocker and upgrade to WM5 for Xda 2i. I hope one day there'll be an upgrade for 2i but Im happy using my 2i now.
so would you say it is worth the upgrade, i was looking at the xda exec, but its even bigger than the xda 2, so i dont really want it
cheers
Neel

Wich is the best tablet to use with an HTC one?

My friends, I'm thinking that I really need a tablet to complement my SGN2. I don't want to close any option before I hear from you. I'm an advance user, and I'm looking for something that really gives me more that my sgn2. I used to have an iPad I sold it because only my children were using it to play around, but since the anounncement that office 365 was out in USA, I'm thinking to get me an iPad mini. Another choice might be an w8 tablet, since I want it only to get my job done (lots of reports and presentation, microsoft dominates my working environment). I was thinking also to let go my SGN2, get an HTC one and buy a note 10'. What do you think?? Please help me out here.

Or wait a month or two for a probable announcement of the next Nexus 7 Unless you need something bigger in which case a new Nexus 10 should make it's way to announcement soon as well~
wait for the new N7 or N10
if you're getting an android tablet might aswell be a nexus

But what do you think of the other tablets?, I want it to use it on my job, advance tools for powerpoint and advance tools for excell... on Android I can't seems to find somethingh as powerfull as the office suite.
I've allready have an apple account with several software bought, maybe w8 is a good choice but it's a new system and just to have to buy all over again just doesn't seems right.

Well it's weird then that you're asking on here what NON-Android/HTC device to get considering you're already leaning way towards an Apple device anyway for the above stated reasons
Thats beacause I don't know everything and maybe there is something that I'm missing, don't you think?

It's a work based tablet. You shouldn't be buying a tablet for work though
I am using galaxy note 8.0 and HTC one. You just can't get wrong with the combination.
I used S4 which I think was really laggy and half of the memory was taken by Samsung apps.HTC one get the dev edition from HTC USA online store.
It is amazing piece of equipment.

Sure, I'll use it only when I feel creative. I also have an Lenovo X220 Tablet and is really to big and heavy to carry arround. That's my main working device, but on the go, sometimes y feell that my SGN2 just doesn't help me all the way. I'll take a look at that Dell. thank you!!
Nexus 7 hands down. Love mines from day 1.

Wind of change.

So.... Being a Samsung Galaxy S user for long time, I came to the point where don't feel "fresh" with my phone. I came to conclusion that need change. Tried some launchers, but doesn't feel cool. So now I decided to change my "baby". The two phones I narrowed are HTC one or Sony Z. Do you think guys I am doing right or stick with my S3 (and wait for 4.3)? Any input appreciated...

Agree with you. As mentioned before I picked up HTC One today. Basically is the same ( meaning OS), but somehow feel better...Right now preparing to flash GE ROM,as I'm not a fan of Blinkfeed and "limited" customisation. Tbh,my S3 LTE never gave me any issue (touchwood!), so probably will keep both phones... My point is that with M7 GE will get faster updates, and hopefully smooth experience. Also I'm not fancy all the "extras" supplied with both devices (Touchwizz/Sense). Thankfully, few apps/widgets are available from play store,so will see how it goes...

Other "hidden" thing is,that Samsung will not provide same treatment as for the 9300. The 9305 isn't so widely available thus support could be "neglected"...

OK, first negative thing: battery much worse than S3. Have almost identical settings, but HTC down to 21% while S3 still on 58%...

Yeah,I know about Xposed. I let go the Sony Z and now focusing on two devices only, the One and S3 LTE. Will do play with the One and then decide which to keep. Might keep both...

Ok, so after a week with the HTC I came back to Samsung S3 LTE. Don't know why, but Sammy just feel right for me.
Guys thanks for all your comments and suggestions.
I am not a Samsung fan boy, but from my point of view Samsung is the best (at least for my needs).
So sticking with S3, skipping S4, but looking forward to S5, which will have non plastic body (hopefully)....
