Breeze is the HTC codename for the Smartphone that they are selling as the MTeoR. See:

Is there any intent to create a forum for the HTC Apache PPC-6700. I have had this phone for about a month and find it better than any other device I have ever used (I used to have the Blue Angel, and it is garbage compared to the Apache). Today (28. September) I asked HTC if there will be a Windows Mobile 6 Upgrade for the P3600 as I'm planning to get on and I always like to have an original backup ROM.
There simple statement in a longer e-mail (I'm not posting it here as there a confidential statement there...):
Trinity won't be updated...
Of course this doesn't exclude updates "endprovided" by network operators (see the trinity wiki) but I don't like this future view...

Now that they have launched their new P3600i, they don't want people to stick to their 'old' p3600 any longer... and granting them with a brand new free wm6 upgrade, wouldn't have dissuaded them enough from doing so.
Hey all, I just ordered a AT&T Tilt (HTC Kaiser) to replace my aging Cingy 8525 (Hermes), so I decided to check out this forum and noticed allot of names I recognized from the Hermes forum, glad to be in familar territory.
The first thing I looked for was a hard SPL program and found it, thanks POF. Now I'm looking for a good ROM, something similar to Schaps for the hermes, any advice would be appreciated.
Think I'm gonna try Duts death beta 3.5 first, after I hard SPL it

If you came from the Hermes forum, then you know how it works.......
Go to the rom development forum read and flash; flash and read until you get what you want. Have fun and welcome to the Kaiser forum.

Has anyone already heard of what the next step for HTC will be after the Kaiser? I am quite curious what they're working on, and when it will be available.
It's already been talked about and the succesor to the Kaiser shall be the Raphael (look in that forum for more info).
Hi all firstly great forums, secondly i am a complete tard when it comes to technology so be gentle please..........
Ok i just recieved my Diamond 2 and i was wondering if you could help me with the basic upgrades i should get right away before i do anything with it and how to do those ie 6.5, ROM stuff etc bear in mind i havent a clue about these phones as it is my first new phone for along time.
Also which memory card should i buy for about £20...£35 i want an 8-16gb, do i need to get a micro or normal size ? a class 2, 4, 6 ?
The phone is from London and sim free if that helps.
So is there any upgrades that are a must or i should definately get before i start playing around with it.

Peter, you better post this in the right forum, this is the Diamond (1) forum, and you have a Diamond 2, that's known here as Topaz.
btw...to upgrade your Topaz to WM6.5 i believe there is an official ROM released by HTC, i'm sure there's a link to that one in the Topaz ROM development forum; this ROM you can flash 'out of the box' cuz it's an official one.
However, if you want to upgrade to another, custom WM6.5. ROM you have to run HardSPL on the phone to be able to do that.
Start reading the Topaz ROM development forum (esp the stickies with very usefull info) and you'll figure it out i'm sure.
Good luck and congrats with your new phone...it's way faster then the Diamond 1, but not as beautiful
