Upgrading the BA ROM

Hi...
I was looking to upgrade my ROM and was reading:

can someone explain to me what the TYPE TESTING means ? my guess is that where it says 2(passed), this is probably a stable ROM ? i am looking to uplift to a 1.40 ROM

i have htc p36000 with rom version 1.23.405.2
radio version 1.38.00.11
ExtrROM version 1.23.405.103
are those an old version of rom and radio or one of the new.
please update me
and in this version of rom did the speaker sound bad or good

You have the latest 'official' WM5 ROM as released by HTC.

ROM VERSION 1.23.405.2
RADIO VERSION 1.38.00.11
ARE THOSE ROM VERSION considered agood version and stable.
when do i have to update my rom version.
how do i backup my rom version and radio version.

Rom Version update

I already changed the Radio version and Os version (wm6.5 build 21189)
My Rom version (see device information) is always 1.19.831.0 (25581) WWE.
How to change Rom version ? is their some benefit?
Do you have some update for the Rom version?

ROM version : 1.19.707.2
ROM date : 6/22/09
Radio Version : 3.44.25.27
Protocol Version : 61.25t.25.19U
can anyone please tell me where can i find the update from wm6.1 to 6.5?
Ive looked around so much and just cannot find it.
