i already downloaded 3.3 aku rom and already installed in my phone but the problem is it has some bugs like when i connect headphone to my phone sound comes in headphone as well as in speaker!!! if i have to listen in headphone then i have to plug in headset and soft reset the phone then sound will come in headphone and if i m listening song in wmp and in between the phone comes then same problem occurs!! sound starts in speaker as well as in headset again have to soft reset its really boring process but apart from this 3.3 is very good!!
can anyone let me know hows to solve this problem!!i just want to hear sound into headset when i connect headset to my ppc..i dont want that voice should come from phone speaker simaltounesly!!!pls help me bez its very irritatin in aku 3.3!!
Din't you already posted this as: problem with 3.3 aku rom and 3.3 aku rom has drawback. someone is going to get mad at you and wont help you.
Also found: how to disable sound!! but your problem may be the registry or even a hardware but most likely a registry problem

Dude - you posted the SAME thing FOUR times in the main part of the thread. The mods are probably going to revoke your membership and delete your questions. Have you tried to google that question using this site? You should get your answer that way. Or ask it on the thread you downloaded the rom from!

I can think of 3 scenarios:
1. The headphone jack is NOT pushed in properly.
2. The headphone jack is bad.
3. The hardware is bad.

I'll second that. I have the AKU 3.3 ROM installed and I have just tested this and plugging the headphones in definitely mutes the speakers. You must have some physical fault.

this his a problem wit your hardware or you screw the ROM with someting...
and for cross posting the same story your account will be suspended for 24 hours......this will help you find the solution by reading and will help us because we will have less stuff to clean. this is no longer tolerated.

If I receive a call while I have headphones connected through the USB connector the ringer sounds through the phone speaker as well as the headphones (Normal profile). On every other phone I've had, inserting headphones into a jack socket mutes the external speaker.
Is this peculiar to the S730/Wings or the custom USB connector? Is there a fix or hack for it?
I could put the phone on vibrate but then I wouldn't hear the ringtone through the headphones - or probably remember to switch back to Normal when finished!

thats odd, mine just rings thru the headphones, not the phone speaker.
sometimes the music comes out of the speakers eventhough the headphones are plugged in. this is very stupid when im in the bus or train....
it suddenly happens and cant be cured (need to restart)
how can i avoid this?

The ExtUSB port is designed with a metal contact on the square side (on the "back" of the port) to detect the headphones. Make sure that the contact is made. This may or may not be the problem; but it's a good starting point.
I'm thinking not in my case because the ext speaker is muted for music but an incoming call will activate it?
It sounds like something software related but I don't know where to look.
I had a look at a friend's Kaiser yesterday and that does exactly the same thing (and I tried their HTC media controller in my Wings), so it doesn't look like it's exclusive to this model.

I suffered the same problem in the bus, and was very embarrassed because everybody looked at me and I didn't notice...
You have to report this problem to HTC (or reseller). More responses = better chance to find the solution in upgrade. But you HAVE TO DO IT!!!

reporting to the reseller an htc doesnt do anything. the reseller is an idiot an not a professional HTC reseller.... hes gonna be like: WTF are u talking about dude??
and htc support is the biggest crap on the planet...
Hello, I have a problem since a few days on my french Diamond.
When I listen to music, watch movies, and things that have sounds, through the headphone, I don't have the basses. It's extremly horrible to listen to.
I can only hear the high-pitched sounds. But when I listen to the radio, the sound is normal.
It was normal before, when I bought the phone, and when I hard reseted the phone, but after some time, the sound became horrible to listen to.
Does anyone have this problem???

I was having the same problem.
I found that if i went into the audio booster and checked the tick box and then changed the volume using the side buttons it came good again for some reason.
not sure if the check box had to be checked or unchecked but it did come good again after a couple of goes.
I've just upgraded my rom so hopefully this won't be a problem anymore for me.
Hello every1! In order to achieve more audio quality i installed this srs wow hd.cab 3 found around the forum (together with a registry key). Installed them and now my kaiser has no sound at all! I already uninstalled the cab but it didnt work! does anyone know about a compatible .cab to have the srs working on my kaiser? And a solution to have my sound back again? Thanks in advance
After you uninstalled, did you soft reset?
You really are better off without it...the speaker isn't really meant for good quality sound playback anyways, besides, it'll affect the volume limits on not only your music, but also your ringtones as well....

Flash different Radio
After Soft Reset you know ASAP if your speaker is back
If not ... tough luck ... HARD RESET and start over or "Clear Storage"
I l o v e SRS_WOW because with headphones it's just great sounds even better than a tweaked MortPlayer (my second choice).

It may be worth a try just to install current SRS using SKTools and install this cab.
Thats exactly what i mean, i have an USB to 3.5mm adapter and the sound with the SRS is so much better Whenever Im not listening to music I turn off the SRS function

BTW SRS_WOW improves A2DP stereo headphones as well it's NOT just for headphones directly connected to the USB out.
So, here's the deal,
The sound works fine when using the speakers, but, when I plug in ANY headphones, while it does recognize them, the sound is so low that, even in a completely silent room I can barely hear anything.
The volume is at Max, I have cleaned the headphone jack many times.
Important information : I started when I flashed a cutom rom. I thought it maybe was a software problem, so I restore the stock rom, but the problem persist.

sounds like a break in the connection of the port...
no easy fix unfortunately, are you sure there isnt anything, lint or anything, maybe jammed down in there?
