The battery indicator strip (the thin line going from red on the left, to yellow, to green on the right) on top of my screen keeps disappearing and I can't figure out why. I like being able to tell how much charge I have left.
The only way I can bring it back, is by doing a backup restore, but then, after a few days, or weeks, it just disappears again.
I am using Dr Puttingham's Cingular ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=62383) and a ClassicBlack theme (it doesn't matter what theme I chose, the Battery Strip is gone in all of them.)
Any ideas?

I apologize in advance, because I am almost positive this has been posted before, but I cannot for the life of me find the right program.
I am looking for a little battery indicator that sits up next to the clock. I had it before I flashed to the 6.1 ROM, and cannot find it again. It was a little program and ran automatically on startup. It did not show percentages, but if you clicked it, it would bring up the power screen.
Cany anyone help me?
Gah.. ok. When I was going through Kaiser tweak I must have accidentally selected the clock option instead of the battery one. I am fixed now.
I know you solved this, but have you seen Ariel Clock? It sits over the Windows icon on the start menu. Looks good, fits in, and shows you the battery status in any screen.
Hi Everyone...
I finally have my 8925 just how I like it (for now anyways).. I still have the 6.0 AT&T rom (minus the bloatware by resetting when it installed it).. I have all the programs I like, (ie HTC Home, TomTom, etc).. I even got the internet set up for my tiny hole i nthe wall providor... I do not want to flash the entire thign and start over... but my battery meter is missing from the top when it is at the Today Screen... When S2U2 is on, it shows the battery.. My Today screen is slightly longer than I want.. I was going to get rid of the HTCHomeplug, as its only real function for me is to show the battery level.. But in the Start bat, it used to show the battery if I remember right, but does not anymore... .. It shows (right to left) a 3 line thing that shows what programs are running, the time, audio levels, singal strength, Wireless connection type (E or 3G), and then a Triangle icon...
Any advice what to do? I tried that Ariel Battery and it shows the level.. but onyl when I click the file.. when I exit it goes away... I don;t really care what speed of internet is avaialble to me as I usually use WiFi anyways so that icon coudl go away, also the time is shows in the HTC Home so that could go away too if that helps.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
if you exit ariel battery it will go away. if you click hide it will not. after putting a link in the startup folder and restarting it shouldn't even show up in your task manager. hope this helps.
LVMTopBat works for me
I found LvmTopBat here. It shows battery status all the time without taking up valuable screen space. Check it out.
I fill stupid, about a year ago I installed a battery status bar that is displayed at the top of the screen (above the start menu). It goes from green to red and shows the status of your battery. I believe you were able to change the battery status to memory, SD card etc.. anyway I accidentally pressed it and hit "none" when asked which status it would like me to show. After hitting it the battery status bar disappeared like it was suppose to.
I looked everywhere in my tilt, can not find the program to turn it back on. Does anyone know what little program this is, and were it may be located on my tilt. I can not figure how to turn it on.
Any help!!
Sounds like one of the functions of iLauncher. Is that something you have installed?
You can always look in Setting, System, Remove Programs to see everything you have installed.
I think the application is Batti?

Good luck
Edit: Reinstalling the cab will get it back for you!

Or go into File Explorer> My Device or Storage Card> program files. I have found many aprogram I thought long gone there, sitting just switched off or unloaded.
Could be in windows\startup folder. Depends on if it starts automatically or if you have to start it after a soft reset. I have one called Vistahide battery guage that I like. Just shows battery status at the top, green yellow orange red type of thing. doesn't take up space.
Kyphur, you got it! Thanks for the replys guys, it was in iLauncher!
Ocassionally, the whole of the start bar across the top of the screen vanishes, it just goes blank and nothing is visible or clickable along the top (ie, all the little icons such as battery, signal indicator, start button, etc). Rebooting the phone restores it. Anyone else come across this before and is there a solution?
Mine occasionly does that, and the other odd thing it does is leave the small keyboard symbol at the bottom of the screen, not very often but once it's there it's a nightmare to shift, it eventually sorts itself out without soft reset, no idea why it does it, there seems to be no consistency to when it happens either.
Mine does this too but i found opening and closing the camera (which i have on a soft key) brings it back again.

I shall try that. This little start bar problem has been doing it more than usual in the last couple of days.
It happened again just now and I hadn't assigned my camera yet. HOWEVER, I have tomtom assigned to the today screen and opening and closing tomtom brought the start bar back.
I think any full screen program should do it, maybe it just needs to be refreshed which doesn't happen with a non full screen program

It happened again a moment ago. This time I clicked on 'No unread messages' on the today screen (I don't use touch flo at the moment btw just standard WM interface) which brought up my text messages and returned the start bar.
This is why we all love Windows Mobile lol
well I turned my phone on the other day after letting it sit for a week, and its bassically all white screen but still has a little bit of the blue range, and the letters and icons and such looks like a screen thats out of tune.
when I go to boot loader for the red ble green white, its completely white except where it shows in blue/purple the boot loader information.
anyone know if I can fix this or do I need a new screen?
I also took the thing completely apart thinking it was a bad connection but nothing helped when I put it back together, also have tried another os to the same avail
nobody has ever had a screen problem?
Man, is that sig pic safe for work?
You might need to reseat the lcd screen cable/ribbon.
Well I took the phone completely apart but did not wipe all the contacts like a doe doe, look like the ribbon cable has some scratches on it but doesn't look like anything is contacting metal so I tried to mend it with electrical tape and I still have the problem, looks like next I'll take it apart again and use some alcohol on it.
and yes its safe for work haha most places block it off
i read somewhere here on xda that if the screen's colors are out of whack, it is recommended to REMOVE the battery and let the device sit for a few hours/days.
then put the battery back in and see if that fixes things up...
thanks guys I'll try the second advice tonight I've just left the battery in and havent taken it out for more than an hour so far.
