Custom HTC Splash Screen v.2 (UnBranded)

Okay, here's my latest take on my custom splashscreens! As usual, I hope you guys/gals enjoy!

I just installed your newest. They look great.
What program do you use, I want to slightly edit the loading screen.

Photoshop CS2 is used for all of them...

again, nice work!
gradient colors between screens are great!
but, maybe you can use smaller and different font... or without any... yust win logo...

Just pull down the zip file and it should have an RUU in it. you run that and it will flash these onto your phone. Your OS and apps will not be affected since its a Splash only update. The 3rd screen will be in a CAB (or its a png you just copy to the WIndows directory, I haven't looked to see how he set it up).

Just like mfrazzz said, and the third screen is a cab file, just install it like you would a program.

Hey guys got the second part to work flawlessly...followed the instructions but couldn't get the RUU to work I keep getting an error 222 that it couldn't verify the connection to my phone.
I have an HTC tilt with SPB Mobile Shell.
Any help or ideas?

How can I extract the pics to edit them and then recombine them.
Do I need a cab unpacker?

I'm also having the error when trying to run the included RUU to install these. I wonder if it may have to do with whether one's phone is unlocked or not? I installed WM6.5 using SoftSPL so didn't have to unlock my T-Mobile MDA. I wonder if there's a way to install these awesome gradient splash images using SoftSPL?

My HTC Wizard blocked in BootLoader mode

i have an HTC Wizard witch is blocked in bootloader mode,
and when i try to flash a new rom, it seems to be done correctly
but when it finish flashing the rom, it return to bootloader mode

I had the same problem with 2 HTC Wizard's G3.

any one know how to solve it.

If you are using a G3 Wizard, flash the Button's ROM to lower the IPL and SPL and getting a working OS, then unlock CID using Wizard Service Tool.
If you are using a G4 Wizard, flash the original stock ROM, then install HardSPL or SoftSPL and use RUU to flash your ROM.

Please re falsh your Spalsh Screens the 1st and second ones because when they are heavier then normal they are falshed but they dont let your Wizard Boot tht once happened to me too. TC

hahaha... Who want´s to unlock the HD for free???

MOD EDIT: This method does not work, please see the comments by Olipro below.
This was an accidental discovery... Without apparent collateral damage and for sure Without loss of network signal...
This method was only for the HTC Touch ELF(in) but confirmed that results in the HTC Touch HD... This is the original post from HTC Elf(in)
HTC Touch HD resulted in a PTG 1.14.410.0 WM6.1 ROM Without loss of network signal... Like the HTC Touch ELf(in) only work´s with ROM's WM6.1 and WM6.5... The ELF(in)'s with WM6.0 dosen´t work!!!
What you need is to use the Total comander and delete this two files in Windows Mobile folder, SIMLock.exe & SIMLock.exe.0***.mui (*** depend of your country)
To see those two files you must activate " Show all Files " on your File explorer of HTC...

When you do that (deleting the files), ignore the pop up message " Warning! Could not delete 1 file(s) " and continue... Don´t worry...
Then you copy this file rilgsm.dll to your Windows Mobile folder and confirm the Overwrite...
****** This file (rilgsm.dll) had previously copied to the root of your memory card, and with total commander, now you pick that file and move to the folder WM ******
After that, reboot the HD and trie another SIM card... Done!!!
Let me Know if it work´s for you too... I hope yes...

This seems to be a good news, but I thought SimLock feature is locked onto the hardware. will wait for the testing result.

Already tested on one HTC Touch Blackstone HD, and 100% SIM_unlocked...
But i'am curious to see if it work´s with more HTC's HD

won't work and can't work.
the lock is in the radio chip, not the OS, replacing some DLL will do nothing.
sure it'll work for the OMAP devices because the entire locking implementation exists in RIL, this is not the case for MSM.

actually I should pay better attention: you replaced rilgsm.dll
try and make a phone call or to recieve one, it won't work, the rilgsm.dll is architecture specific, all you've achieved is that you've just broken your phone, might wanna delete that rilgsm about now

uhm what a stupid joke =)

Thread closed due to dangers of damaging your phone, messing with the RIL can land you with a real brick. I mean the sort Olipro and cmonex can't fix .

Tytn II photos disbaled?

Hello,
i flashed my mobile Vario3 to HTC Tytn II original without Tmobile brands, after this i installed WM 6.5 and everything works fine, but when i wanna make a picture, hte mobiel works a bit and after this, no picture anywhere...
What is this for a problem? what can i do???
And by the way, in the task where is the symbol for Internetconnectivity (G,E,H,3G) ?? see picture

It's because you are on GPRS, use Advanced Config\Data Connection Enable Legacy GPRS Notification.

Advanced Config is a program cooked in most ROMs
No pictures i'd go with ChumleyEX that you don't have the correct Radio as in 6.1 it's noted in the Flashing for noobs and many other places

I have got this one here in German language...
So i have to load another Radio?
I found the noobs guide, but i read this and i dont know which radio i have to use now... Which radio i have to load? there are so much original 6.1 radios, but i dont know which is the one for me.

Screen mobile says: KAIS130 MFG, SPL-1.0.OliPof, CPLD-8
And Notemake says mistake 260... :-(

Ok i did over microsd...
I putted radio 1.70.19.09 on it, now i see which speed i have in network, but the camera is still not working, so whats wrong?
Needs Hard spl updates?

You used the wrong resolution. The Rhodium uses a WVGA screen. This means 800x480. It looks like you did a 640x480 image there.

no i used the 800x480 indeed, but for example i used a 640x480 image because you can only upload 640x480 images the bootscreen it self is a 800x480 image

Oh ok. Well just so you know, you actually can use WVGA screen shots. Even though it says you can't, it still allows you to upload then in 800x480 resolution. I do it all the time.

@junior0186, yep this will work on the Tilt 2, you have the HardSpl so it must work
