Without having to install Crossbow is there a way of enabling the e-mail viewer in wm5 to see rich content in e-mails?
Use WebIS Flexmail, but this is not a very good option. Give it a try if you wish.

I cannot seem to be able to get HTML emails in Outlook from my Exchange 2003 server.
Everything I receive is in plain text, yet the emails are HTML.
When setting up the Exchange server on my TYTN2 (duttys 2Y8 fix) I get the choice of plain text or HTML, I select HTML, but after it is setup I see it has changed to plain text and is greyed out.
It does not seem ROM dependant as it has been the case with all the ROMs I have tried.
Any email that is HTML based is in plain text with the links shown, but no HTML formatting.
I have tried to find others with this problem, but searching does not yeild results.
Please help
I believe this is due to exchange server settings, not your phone. I sync with exchange 2003 & have the same results. HTML email is fine with pop3 or imap.
Dave
HTML with exchange only work with exchange 2007
looks like i will need to upgrade the office server to exchange 2007.
Thanks for the replies, I honestly thought HTML would work
Hello,
I'm looking for an email program that will allow me to create and receive Rich Text, and HTML.
Anyone know of such a program?
Thanks.
Have you looked at FlexMail (WebIS)
Anyone else notice that when you receive an email that has an embedded picture, excel chart, diagrams etc, it automatically resizes/shrinks the content to fit your screen (just as in Pocket IE), but when doing this it actually makes the embedded content unreadable and unusable... and unlike pocket ie, there is no option to resize it to it's original size.
Because of this, im beginning to wonder just how useful HTML email is in the 1st place? Just to view colored fonts?
Any way to get the "do not resize" option in HTML mail, just as there is in HTML ie?
Thanks.

If you could read he is talking about email, not a browser...
So, any solution? Thanks.
Hello,
I'm new on the forum.
I managed, thanks to the nice infos-wikis you provide, to upgrade my tytn II to the latest official rom / win 6.1.
I am now using gmail via mini opera.
I am still unable to attach a file to an e-mail.
For example, I take a pic with the tytn II, how can I send it as an attached file via e-mail ?
If you have a solution, thanks for helping me !
See u,

Don't think mini Opera will support attaching files.
I use pocket outlook with my Gmail set up via POP3 (can also use IMAP)
Look at the end of this youtube video showing attaching files via pocket outlook.

Another option would be to install Opera 9.5, plenty of links & tips in the forum if you do a search.
Heres a link to Opera: http://rs257.rapidshare.com/files/190198642/Opera_v9.5_build_15529_WWE_QVGA.rar
Thanks for the infos ! I will certainly have a look.

Hello,
I have read about pop, imap, opera mobile, etc... but the answer is still not clear to me.
I am trying to find a solution to send a file in attachment via webmail on my kaiser (not via pop or imap). Is this possible ?
Thks for your help!

Your options are to try Opera 9.5 or perhaps even the PPC Firefox browser & see if they support your needs.
Gmail do an application for the PPC that may assist you in your requirements
I have never handled email via browser webmail on my PPC as it is such an awkward way to check & send mail & can be expensive pending on your data plan.
I handle all my mail via pocket outlook with pomo mail organiser plugin making it run smooth.

Thank you, I will try one of those solutions and decide !

I have a US Tmobile galaxy tab, and using the stock Email client, I noticed that if I forward an Email which includes html content, the forwarded email does not include that content.
Is that a limitation of this Email application or is there a setting I missed (I do have Forward files checked in the account manager), or am I having an abnormal problem.
Thanks for any feedback
