Is the midlet manager installed? If not, look for that Intent Midlet Manager Risidoro has posted.....
Yes, that did it. Thanks.

Just install the Cloudyfa Jbed (unless you have a non-Western regional setting; then, you'll need to use the previous, 2.1 version I've recently reviewed) and you're set. Read the MIDlet Bible for more info (Wiki!).
cool cheers - installed jbed , works great! if only i could get rid of the other manager i feel dirty with it still installed lol

you can't as it's in the ROM. Unless someone cooks a ROM ONLY having Jbed; then, you won't have it in the ROM any more.
btw, having TAO in the ROM has no bad consequences at all because it won't be activated when you click a JAR / JAD file - except for the storage usage.
When you guys/gals download the opera mini, what version do you use, i download it directly to the tilt and it says it cant recognize my phone model. Even going to the Operamini web site it doesnt list the tilt on the list.
Yeah it's going to say that. I'm running version 4.0.9800 which was the latest from the operamini website when I got it. Works great imo.

Does the Orange rebrand have Jbed or TAO as the built-in manager?
I don't know, how would I find out?

Do you have a Tools folder under Programs?
No, I'm afraid I don't. Orange clearly haven't made it easy!

Then, just install the Jbed CAB and you're set

Both of the files (.jar and .jad) say that it "cannot be opened because it is either not signed iwth a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found"
Whats going on??
Another problem: My Full Version of MioMap Version 3.0 GPS doesn't open on Dutty's Rom....it worked perfect on my default Tilt ROM
Any help greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!
This is going to sound stupid but you did install a Midlet manager right, cause I think he left it out on V3 if I recall.
yes, you are missing a midlet manager
It was not included in duttys roms, I think it can be found in the latest cabs collection. Its also called Cloudyfa_EsmertecJbed.cab and i think this link should work: http://www.cinetsystems.com/xda/Kaiser Cab Collections/Cloudyfa_EsmertecJbed.cab
THANK YOU!!!
Also make sure you follow my articles - in my Opera 4 review, I've provided a Jbed download link long ago. So have I in several of my other posts.

shame on me, you're right! There must be the original .cab somewhere on my hdd. Extracted from extended rom intent Tao Java Midlet Manager
Here is another german one, hopefully it works. Its part of promaster autoinstaller.
Search for jmec64. It proofs the only reason why WM is working!! I love it. It runs on my xda comet (atom life) like the original!
Found it: see attached file- rename it, delete .rar it's just added to upload it
Your Midled Manager must have the two softkeys at the bottom to run it.
Look at the video attached to the last post.
