default button settings

hey
can someone please tell me what the default button assignments are which are found in start>settings>buttons

Please help with shortcuts

I see in the help section and on this board people say select menu than delete or menu then a keyboard letter.... And this is supposed to do shortcuts.
I have tried to push menu and a shortcut but it does not do anything. All it does is bring up the menu.
Any help?

I would assign the Home button in the start menu.
but only with the registry.
Is this possible?
and not with software.
