I have been reading about the cool camer app and would like to try it.
Supposedly it is on the FTP, but I cannot find it there anymore, better said cannot access it.
Is the file still on FTP? I have tried the suggested combination usernameassword and still get the access denied message
it's not there anymore...was under ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/WIZARD/Applications/ but looks like it was taken off

Ive tried a couple including one called screenshot with no luck. I cant seem to find one that actually works. I would like to update my signiture with my screens. I've also asked in a few threads about it with no luck
EDIT: Problem solved. Im using PicMe
shootme/picme works. You can find it free on market if you use 320 x480.

Agreed. I like Shootme. If you don't haver 320x480 market I think cp0020 posted the apk in his tips/tricks thread. Don't worry it's not a ware, as reddog stated, it's freeware

Thanks i found it. Funny thing is, I checked this thread to see if someone mentioned a screenshot app and didnt see one. My apologizes.
ok, I just started up the app and it wants to use a shake procedure. and tells me, failed make sure i have root access. I changed it to movie mode and it took 500 pics in like 10 sec. lol Anyway to take a screenshot manually?
EDIT: i got it to say active shake phone to take a screen but that obviously dont work. What am i doing wrong?

Occasionally. I believe it's androids built in memory manager purging the process as other items get loaded ontop of it. PicMe is a heavy application. It does a great job though when it's up.
Hey guys, I got PicMe from the Market but I'm having some trouble installing it.
It says:
"Failed starting server. Please check that you have ***ROOT*** access on your device... and enabled access to the lower level graphics."
Feedback would be appreciated.
I have used Astro for some time on my LG 2x, but today I realised that I cant move stuff between the two "cards".
If I try to move I get the: "Move Failed" dialog and nothing happens.

I use Linda Manager with no problems.
Edit: Just tried to move a file from /sdcard to /sdcard/_ExternalSD. Works
For some reason Astro wont and I wanted to hear if I was the only one tackling with that problem before getting a hold of the guys that make Astro.
So other astro users, come out of the closet and let me hear if you are having the same issues
Same problem with astro.. Will not move files.
A workaround is to do copy, then delete the original, but it is annoying as hell. Too bad though, because astro has quick copy/move function, rar support, and thumbnails. All of which i need when doing rom modification before flashing..
I haven't found a better alternative, well except this lg0x2 move issue, now everything is better
Anyone can suggest a superior alternative? I've heard the lightweight ones can f'''up files if a phonecall comes in whilst files are being moved..
I can live with the Copy/Delete measure if thats we will have to do. I will however send a message to the developer of Astro and tell me there is a issue with the 2x and Astro moving. Hopefully its an easy fix.
Hey guys, my wife was showing me this app she found on her new Moto Photon called MotoPhonePortal.
If you haven't heard of it, its kinda cool, connects to wifi and serves up a webpage you can browse to, and it lets you look at your files, and send txt message from your phone.
Out of curiosity I sent them to my wifi XOOM, they're both moto products, maybe it'd work. It wouldn't, so maybe it looks for more than just the MFG of the device.
I grabbed the APK and the ODEX.
I'm going to attach them here should anyone have any ideas on maybe getting them to work.
I also grabbed the MotoFMRadio, didn't load either, figured it was worth a shot.
ok i searched this issue but found nothing useful or helpful to fix this but every picture i take seems to dissappear after a few minutes and all i get is a gray triangle with an ! mark inside it for all pictures taken by the camera. anyone else have this issue?

No body is having issues with pictures not displaying correctly?? Im on ViperONEM8 rom but it did this on the stock rom and badboyz as well. must not be rom related but i dont know so sum one have any ideas what the issue is? thanks
Have you tried changing the storage location? Also, are you restoring your gallery each time you try a new ROM? You could have the folder hidden on accident and as you restore the gallery that folder becomes hidden again. See if you cannot find the photos another way, for example: Quickpic or ES File Browser.

unfortunately yes i did try changing the storage location, in the camera app i changed it to ext sdcard & phone storage both same issue. also i used the Xposed module "Downloads2SD" & "Pictures2SD" both to change the location but still same issue. as for restoring my gallery, no i dont restore it at all when installing new rom. unless somehow it automatically restores from my google account but i dont think it does.
I also have used Root Browser & ES File Explorer to look in every directory on phone and sdcard for the pictures and they cant be found anywhere.

What happens when you use a different camera app? If that doesn't work either I would suggest an RUU. If an RUU doesn't work I would suggest returning the phone.

still not working with other camera apps. im gonna try RUUing once and see if it still does it. i took a few pics today and all seemed fine until i went to view them later on then they were just displaying the gray triangle thing.. one pic was there and viewed fine one sec then the next its just like the others. i just looked in the gallery now and it shows the previews of these pics but i tap to open them and get the triangle again. its weird & really frustrating i took tons of great pics over the time with this phone and lost them all from this, except of course the stupid test shots ive taken of my wall or whatever pointless shots.. they seem to stay fine its just the important ones that wont.. aarrrghhh gonna RUU right now.

pictures i take sometimes show with parts of it having a section thats gray.. usually more then 50% of the pic is that way otherwise there is no pic just a black screen with the ! as shown in previous post here. can anyone please help me. ive lost a lot of important good pics due to this.

I am having the same issue i moved all my pictures to the external storage card to free up space but now the pics are in limbo i cant find them i just have the triangle where they use to be. the same thing holds true for apps
im beginning to suspect that KK write protection with the external sdcard is the culprit for this but im on viperonem8 and have tried the fixes i found that are suppose to fix the write protection issue and still having same issues. so anyone have any working fixes at all please let us know thanks

I am having the exact same issue and it is frustrating as hell. Especially when I get a great picture, then I go to show someone and it is ****ING GONE.. The only way that I can seem to save them if is when I take them, I immediately share them. After doing extensive research, I have narrowed it down to 2 possible issues.
1) The SD card is somehow corrupted, I purchased a 64GB SD card from eBay and I just recently read about an SD card scandal that was going on which could be the culprit. To test this, I am first going to try with a smaller card that I know works. If that doesn't work, I am going to have the pictures stored on the phone and see if that keeps them.
2) This problem really started to show itself after I downloaded an app called OneGallery, I don't really know if that has anything to do with it, or if it is completely coincidence. If replacing the SD card doesn't work, deleting this app will be the next step.
I love the phone too much to just turn it in or swap it out.

Does anybody know how to get Lenovo SNAPit and SEEit camera and gallery working like on rayglobes rom. it is awesome and i would like to try it on all the other roms i am trying, there is so many haha. If anybody has any suggestions on how to do i would love to hear them. i have successfully installed got gallery working but get camera FC on lauch

I found this port of the Lenovo Super Camera/Gallery. After installing the apk and opening the camera, I get the message "Cannot connect to camera"... however I can see the camera load and it looks like it is ready to go behind the error message. I'm sure there is some little tweak that needs to be done, but I'm not tech savvy enough to figure it out. The gallery works just fine.
If anyone can figure it out, 'd love to know what I need to do to get this working.
