Ever since I installed WM6, I've had tons of missed calls, text messages, and voice mail notifications. I have used radios 1.61, and 1.25 (the Cingular version). I'm on Cingular.
Anybody have any fixes?

I had Problems like that But Now with MB Rom and 2.19 Radio everything seems to have been fixed. But then again I do so many experimentation to try to learn abuot the embedded VOIP that some may have inadvertently messed with it too.

just use 2.19 radio instead..

I don't know if this is the ROM upgrade (latest Wizzard test rom, but it started before, when I was on the Himalaya ROM), or if it's my phone company, but I'm loosing a lot of SMS: People send me messages, and I don't get them! Does anybody else see this, or should I get my phone company to fix something?
Nope, you broke something. :lol:
The phone company will get very confused if you try to explain to them what you did.
sms reception is a pretty basic function for the phones, so if you're not receiving ANY, then there's a software hook that's not being activated.
Try to roll back to another ROM.
Curious, you say you're using the Wizard ROM, but used the Himalaya ROM before that, yet you're posting in the Blue Angel forum.. Poor phone !
No, I'm not loosing all. I just got two SMS warning me of this reply! Anyway, I use Maimach's test ROM's, and I must say that both have been better than the leaked BA WM5 ROM I used before them. But I do loose some SMS. They just don't arrive, or at least they don't show up.
Not that i recive tons of SMS, but i do recive what ppl send me as far as i know....
SMS receiving problem
there are quite a few posts here about this problem (see posts under my name)
the problem seems to happen on all derivates of the XDA and is network independant.
The problem is linked to the XDA "waking up" and a weak signal. I can recreate this problem at will. The XDA 2i will wake up on receiving an SMS but immediately loose the network. It will re- acquire it but no SMS notification will show and the SMS will also not be received (but a confirmation message will be delivered to the sender). If you send two SMS the first one will be lost and the second one (now that the XDA is awake already) will be received fine.

I can confirm it, especially since I hear the SMS arrive on the car radio (static from the cellphone), but then nothing happens. This didn't happen, at least not as much, under 2003SE.

I've been having a 8125 for a while now. and I love it. But lately I've been having a problem of phonecalls not getting to me. I know I'm not out of range or anything but I'm just not reciving calls. Even when someone leaves a msg I sometimes get no notification. Even after a reset. But when I actually recieve a call and then they leave a msg I see about 5 voicemails waiting for me when the phone actually only ran once. I with Cingular (before anyone ask).

Unexplainably missing calls
Respectfully, I do not think the answer to Part 1 is in the indicated thread. That thread mainly deals with dropped calls in combination with GPRS apps.
I have the exact same problem as Zaiaku experiences: missed calls, while the phone doesn't actually have a 'missed call', and the voice-mail notification arriving hours later. At the moment the other person tries to call me, he/she immediately gets voice-mail, even though I'm certain I have good reception at the location I'm at.
I'm not running any GPRS apps (not even mail), and I do not have the dropped calls problem.

GPRS may still be the cause of missed calls...
Unless you have completely disabled GPRS it can be the cause of missed calls. I experienced mystry missed calls before I disabled GPRS completely (by calling my provider and telling them to block Data Services except Text Messaging). When I returned to using GPRS I have eliminated the missed calls problem with careful management of GPRS applications and the recent registry tweak found in the referenced thread.
Also, Zaiaku gave no info about what he is or is not running on his phone.
I have the same problem, also time to time my phone answers for me or even worse, dials for me.
The problem is that I use GPRS often and need it to run (can not disable).

For the GPRS Problem look to the thread in my first post here. There is a 'fix' of sorts.
If you have an active GPRS Session then incoming call will always go to voicemail, that can't be changed.
As for the answering or dialing be itself, I've not heard of that before but I wonder if you have the buttons locked when your device is sleeping?
I've have a few times when while removing the phone from its case I hit the red or green buttons enough for a press to register.
Okies, I'm posting this here because I'm not exactly sure what the issue is.
I have been have issues with my cellular radio shutting off and not restarting. For example If i go more than like 3 hours without making or receiving a call it does not receive calls at all until I make a call (which I believe resets the radio?) So no missed calls, just no calls altogether. This seems to be a recent occurrence, ever since I flashed to TTrans Open Touch 3.0, I have since then tried 4.0 and am still having the same issue. I will be reverting to the original ROM tonight but would rather stay with my current one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bumped my radio up to 03.18.90.

after flashing hard SPL 3.29 and running kaiserunlocker my phone no longer does voice calls, its the weirdest thing. It'll call but no voice can be heard nor can I speak. I'm working with a ATT tilt and this is my first run through. Anyways, anybody know what I should do? Same thing with my cam, it can't take pics or vids, its just black.

Try updating the Radio to a different version, I don't know which one will work. All I can say is, if you have Wm6 you need a Wm6 radio, and the same for Wm6.1. The Radio's are listed in link in my sig.

hi all, just basically come accross this forum
Anyways, i'm having a bit of a prob with recieving texts on my tytn11 just got the phone and i know sms are sent but i dont recieve all of them, could this be a rom fault or just something int he settings that needs doing.
at the moment to get my texts ive opened up a blueroom account on o2 to see all messages when i get home from work and see what ive missed.
