New rom found on t-mobile site in Austria
This is a german rom and seems to have BB software as seen in the UK Rom.

Is there a new T-Mobile MDA Compact English ROM? It seems only T-Mobile is capable of creating stable ROMS.

That is not a very new version. I dont know if you ever had problems with your phone qualitity as i had with Version 1.00.00. I now use 1.08.00, although there is allready a higher version 1.10.00 available.
But if you dont have problems you dont have zo change anything.

i'm actually working on a german rom for the mda 3. there will be the new radio upgarade 1.10.00 included.

Looking for Chinese ROM for my SX66

I am new user for PPC, Just got my Sx66 few days. I would like to flash my sx66 to Simplefile Chinese windows Mobile 2003 SE, beasuse i am a chinese.
I read a lot post of WM5 on blue angel, sounds like WM5 is not good for sx66. Beacause i am total new, can any one tell me sould i try to flash to WM5 or still too may issues better to waite a while?

You could try the Chinese CHT ROM that was uploaded here: ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Blueangel/
I don't know if it's traditional or simplified Chinese though.

Only had traditional Chinese in BAm you can try Dopod 700,1.31.06 ROM

there is only traditional Chinese here and I have tried dopod 700,1.31.06 ROM. It working properly.

I mean...does exist a xda mini s that is proved as IMPOSSIBLE TO UN LOCK in order to use it with an italian SIM in ITALY and in italian language?

Have never tried what you are proposing but I do know that O2 XDAs are unlocked by default. I put a Vodafone sim in mine and it worked without any unlocking.
Don't know about language but you could always flash it with an Italian ROM.

the seller said it is "O2 locked"...so I'm looking for a step by step guide to perform the next operations:
- unlock from operator lock
- unlock from sim lock
- somehow put the last italian rom

My eBay seller also stated it was O2 locked, which is why I got it for a good price. But I knew that O2 XDAs are NOT usually operator or sim locked.
If you hard reset the Wizard, one of the set up choices may be to choose another language. Not sure, because I chose the default English setting.
Alternatively, find an Italian Qtek or iMate ROM in the ftp section of this site and flash your Wizard.
NB It does depend on what ROM version yours has now though: anything above 2.21.4.1 (Settings/System tab/Device information) cannot be flashed at the moment.

It should be operator and sim unlocked, regardless of ROM version. But you may not be able to flash it with a new ROM if the existing ROM is as stated.
But some very clever people on these forums are working on it :wink:

I would say 'yes'. :wink: You should be able to flash this with an Italian ROM without a problem.

I bought HTC9100 preinstalled with the following WWE ROM.
1.25.000.TE
02/14/07
RADIO VER 1.38.00.11
PROTOCOL VER 32.71.7020.12H
Its a Taiwanese model. I tried to upgrade to WM6 with a wrong ROM and it screwed up everything.. Stopped working completely(Red, green, blue screen)...
I registered with HTC-Taiwan site and could download only a Taiwanese version ROM. I installed Taiwanese ROM.. Atleast the phone is working though i can not understand a single letter in Taiwanese....
Where can i download a WWE ROM for CHT-9100 Taiwan make. Is there anyway i can download the same ROM I had(the above mentioned)..?
I googled all the day and could not get a clue...
I am very sad.. Any help is genuinely appreciated...

The closest match i could find is the below ROM

I think you can ignore about your current ROM version and install any WWE ROM you want including WM6.
Correct me if I am wrong.

For yr info, you can purchase IMEI-CHECK to unlock your phone to flash to any D810 roms. It works as I have purchase it.

Go with the WM6 version of Dopod Chinese ROM - it's the best chinese ROM available for the device. The CHT 9100 is identical to all of our devices - so the ROM can be the same. Flash with HARD-SPL and you can choose whichever ROM you want.

All roms are signet, so they are safe to use.
They are updating your ROM version (some things are fixed, one is showing 288ram instead of 256)

FYI ....
"HotFix Rhodium Radio 3.46.25.30 - Hotfix to enhance the internal GPS capability in the HTC Touch Pro2" only works if goldcard or QMAT are used.

Hi, I have a older dutch rom with older Radio version (see my signature). Do you have an branded Phone? Can I flash this Rom + hotfix radio to update my TP2 safely? Thanx

Has anyone uploaded a Vodafone branded rom that could be linked to?
If not, I've dumped the 4 part files, but haven't re-built it. If anyone wants these files to re-build the rom, PM me and I'll upload them.

I Strongly for those who planning to FLASH this new ROM released by HTC recently.... BETTER NOT TO DO IT!!!
Reasons:
1) Since i have updated it, It has freezed my phone twice and after that i cannot perform activesync, before that, my phone was working 100% since I got it since Jun 2009.
2) Not worth of your time flashing it with just such minor updates.
Unless you want go thru this nightmare yourself.
Very Regret doing it.....
Advice: Just don't try to fix something which is not break, if you are happy with your existing ROM, just keep the way it is.

My guess is that it's some third party software that's causing your crashes.
I've updated mine, because I needed the sms hotfix. Haven't had any problems wit it yet...

Did you update using goldcard / QMAT??? I don't think it is possible to updated just those hotfix even after the ROM Updates without those goldcard/QMAT.
Btw i am using EU ROM

Can not use the update for the GPS, not for my device it says in the flashproces

You used QMAT or was just the normal windows procedure to update the rom?

That radio is'nt in the rom update, so how did you do that?

Now I'm confused
The new ROM has the new Radio 3.46 or the old on 3.44 ?
I thought the new ROM had the old rom in which we had to upload the new radio seperatly ?

QMAT appears to be something that a very competent tech might use - I have no damn idea what Goldscard is (aside from a form of credit card!).
