Helmi_BA_WM2k5_AKU3.5_v1.4.CF2 by baniaczek

Published with helmi_c permission to add fixes and net.cf2, but I believe the rest is ok
Main goal was to remove useless Net.CF.1 and to add Net.CF.2.SP1. Net.CF is much larger - there was not enough room in the ROM. So I've decided to move some things to be installed from ExtROM: Transcriber, Terminal Services and PocketMSN. After installing all of them you still have more storage then after installing camera fix, screen rotate fix and Net.CF2 over Helmi 1.4 Vanilla ROM.
Second goal was to apply known fixes and driver updates and to clean registry - there was over one hundred references to non existing files, classes and drivers.
Third one - I love Smartdial. I can't find anything new in the phone application in AKU3.5, so I've decided to make step backward and there is installed phone app from AKU3.2
It is still vanilla ROM - without any third party add-ons.
If anything goes wrong - sorry, it is my first ROM.

Phone application downgraded do AKU3.2 version - this allows smartdial to work

Smartdial have to be installed - it is not included in ROM. But after installation (and restart) should work.

No. There is a lot of changes in the regstry. They will be lost after restoring backup. Better way - simply install net.cf2 and fixes on the helmi ROM

Probably no. Most of functions and configuration are taken from helmi_c 1.4 vanilla. From user point of view - the only one difference is compatibility with smartdial.

Are the Bluetooth and WIFI bugs fixed in this ROM?

Hi Ale. If problem persist with this version too i'll alert you. (I'm testing software 4 communication company, so I make many call x day).
there are two/tree bugs too in this new version:
the first is battery level on task bar, always up at every level
the second, the alert does not ring & I'm unable to set it (tone removed?)
the third, taskbar freezing charger icon after recharged.

First with Manila 2.6 (build 1918), another with old classic Manila 2.1 and last one if you wanna taste the new HTC Messaging experience.

Two little problem: I can't see all programs icon on start menu: i see only a black square, but if i tap the programs start.
The list of all program have some double entries (messe and messenger, face and facebook, word and word mobile and so on..)

NB : Make an hard reset after flashing and a SOFT-reset after the customization ends up...cause manila doesn't start immediatly after the customization...

NB : Make an hard reset after flashing and a SOFT-reset after the customization ends up...cause manila doesn't start immediatly after the customization...

Ooops...a little bug...
Bad management of Music Player. After 12 to 16 seconds evry song you play is stopped and the application run crappy.
EVRYTHING else is stable, maybe a memory lack? Guessing...
(P.S. Mr. Kenia, i'm italian too, i'm writing in english because of forum rules obviously).

It happened something similar with PhoenixEx, we solved deleting MUSIC folders from SD card (assuming your PDA is "clean", otherwise also in PDA's memory), and then creating a new one paying attention putting back the audio files.
It was a problem , in that particular case, of previous Rom's installations in SD card, and not a ROM problem.... spero ti sia d'aiuto, in caso vai su "nonsolotelefonia"....

Music folder problem solved...
You were right, previous ROMs installation created mess...
by deleting music and re inserting it the problem swiped away...
Let's go...

seems good rom. first thing i can saw was the slow scroll in file explorer, program list, manila and windows contacts.
...I have to test it...

I just have noticed some minor bugs:
1- comm manager shortcut doesn't work for home tabs
2- program list related to home tabs have some problem in linkage.
3- some icons for home tabs are in low quality, for example camera and notes
The rest seems great!

Keyboard bug
Oh man!
At the first flash, evrything worked fine kenia...but i had music player problem...
I decided to re-flash rom ad now...KEYBOARD ISSUE!
I'm wondering why...
I read in other posts people have the same problem.
Hard reset done.
Soft reset done.
Idea?

bella rom davvero, io ho 2 problemi, quando faccio una telefonata il display rimane acceso quindi la batteria scende paurosamente.
poi nell'album delle foto appena li carica tutte il menu ritorna indietro, insomma non rimane li per poter modificare foto o altro.
si possono risolvere questi problemi???

very nice rom, I have 2 problems, when I make a call the display stays on then the battery drops alarmingly.
then the album of photos you just load them all the menu comes back I do not limit them remains to edit photos or other.
can solve these problems??
