iGO8, which ROM works ??

Which ROM work with iGO8. I have now PDAVIET v15, but dont works.

RRE 4.5 SE works fine.

I've used it with the stock ROM, the new leaked ROM, ROMeOS, NATF, and PROven.
What exactly doesn't work with it?

For me at least it finds 5 satellites, but does not seem to get any signals from them, im not getting any coordinates.
Google maps works fine in the same rom and located the same amount of satellites.
Im running the same rom as the original poster.

Which version of iGo8 are you using? I've read reports that the Jan 7th version has problems getting locks for some people.
I just installed it and will be trying it in about 15 minutes.

running ice on pr0ven rom 1.14
iGO.8.v8.0.0.44366

I'm using iGo v8.3.2.71348 and its working.

I use now EnergyROM 1.0 20764, works fine.

iGo8 v. 8.3.2.71348 ROM 5.05.405.1 Radio 1.11.25.01 settings com 4 speed 57600. Everything is working great!

ROM and Radio in my sig.
Beside the lag, can even calculate a bicycle tour from LA to Wash. DC (though it takes 10 minutes.... - to calculate

Navigon on Gingerbread Milestone Rom's

Hello together,
i want to use Navigon on my Gingerbread Milestone. But, like you know 2.6 is not working with it. So i get Navigon 3.5.4 now but i get a message if I start it.
I read several other threads here about the problem but i dont get it working.
So did someone could explain me detailed how to get it working on my milestone ? Even someone here have already a working milestone wirth gingerbread and navigon ?

I will recomend Sigic (Mobile 10 or Aura) In my opinion Aura is better.

But i feel that Navigon is more confortable ?!

I have the official release of Navigon 3.6.0 and CM 7.1, and it's working great.
No need to do anything specific.

Motonav is best !

Navigon is the best option for me.

Do Navigation-Apps work on CM on Milestone? I have heard that they still does not work because of GPS issues ...

Witch version?I had maby wrong version NDrive..I was sutisfied with Navigon,but did´nt work on And 2.3.

For me Sygic Aura 11.02 works fine and with no problems.

[Q] Sygic and ICS

Hello!
Has anybody managed to get Sygic fully functioning on ICS ROM? I have tried to install Sygic 11.2.1 on Alba and Criskelo ROMs, but without success. It installs, but acts weird, does not show map and usually crashes.

I am running the ICS stunner Rom and i can confirm that sygic is working for me.
Had to go through the trouble of installing the app and download the maps just for you!!

Problem solved. Just had to buy the correct version, 11.2.6. This one works flawlessly.

I remember seeing a Sygic changelog several weeks ago and there was "Android 4.0 compatibility". So just choose the latest version.

[Q] GPS doesn't work [CM 10] In Stock ROM works

Hi Guys !
I have an Optimus Black (P970H).
Recently I installed the Stable version of Cyanogen Mod 10 (10.0.0-p970)
My problem is, using the LG Stock ROM, my GPS works fine.
The version that I'm using is the Brazilian version of the Gingerbread ROM (V20A)
When I installed CM 10, the GPS stoped working.
It doesn't fix do any sattelite and using softwares like GPS Test, shows no sattelites at all.
Tomtom doesn't work at all and Google Maps keeps "Waiting for Position"
I wish to know if there's any fix that I can try.
I know that on the folder /etc resides the configuration files for the GPS (gps.conf and gps_brcm_conf.xml).
Can I use the stock files to make the GPS on CM 10 work ?
If you guys know something that can help me I will be glad.
I'm on Brazil, South America.

I have the same problem! I kinda really need GPS. And I don't wanna reveert back to ICS. Can anybody please help me please!!!

On CM10 it doesn't work properly, and it won't work later, as there are no new nightlies of CM10. So nobody is developing this rom (its core).
dcop7 made some files that can help a bit, but it's still far from the performance you get on LG's ICS or CM10.1-based roms.
On CM10.1 though, it's working fine now, as the issues with gps were fixed a few months ago.

I would suggest you to try CM10.1-based roms, as they improved a lot lately.
