new member and tilt user

Hello everyone, I just got a tilt by AT&T and found this forum while searching for ways to improve/add missing features. I have not worked with this type of software before but hope to learn a lot (likely at the cost of some frustration). Any recommendations on how or what you have done to improve the phone? Thanks,

Just take out some time from your daily life and search Do not ask a question unless you're certain it hasn't been asked before. You'll be shun upon. I'm just saying take some time, search, and you'll be a pro soon enough.

I knew this site had underlying agenda...MALWARE COOKED INTO THE ROMS???

kinda like the people who release XP and Vista .ISO's with Malware preloaded so its untraceable
I knew a guy that was getting $1 an install and made close to $100,000

Here's a tip- MAKE SURE YOU'RE USING THE FORUMS FOR YOUR DEVICE AND NOT SOME OTHER FORUM.

Hi Guyz,
Dont know what the hell came to my mind, but I wish last evening if I could see how we look like. We tried to help each other in one or other way but did you ever wish see how the other really looks like. We are from different culture,political states,geographical regions, XDA being the meeting ground of this wide geographical population must have our images on it.
I am not sure whether you people will be comfortable with it, there is no harm in showing your face(even if you are as bad looking as I am, LOL)
Come out with your nicest snap out there in your phone or somewhere else.
I am not sure if there have been attempts at opening such threads, but if the mods feel there is something wrong they can have their say.

Note: No hard & fast rule about the picture, it can be of any size & dimension.

first: get a topic (whats for that site???)... and create the theme according the central idea!

The theme's alright, but it doesn't really matter too much. When I first came to XDA, I thought to myself, "God, this place is hideous!" But then, as I used it more and more, I became more used to the theme, and now I'm kinda fond of it (it's still ugly though). If the text is visible and the site is easy to see (not too dark or light), don't worry much about the theme, because the content of the site is much more important than how it looks.
And on a side note, you really need to change your user avatar on your site, because that is really f**ked up.

One thing I want to do is in my forum have a developers section. Each dev can have there own section of the forum as a moderator. something like this:
Devlepoers:
____Dev1
________Version 1 app
________Version 2 app
____Dev2
____Dev3
That way, if you like a dev who doesn't have a site, you can just jump on the forum and go to the dev section and see everything they have created. Little better then sifting threw tons of pages looking for the newest ver of something, or maybe just want to see what else they have developed.
it also has a one spot access for devs to see what other dev have made and maybe incorporate into a rom ect.

Forum Signatures (Post here for Help/Comments/Flaunting of your sig!)

I recently updated my forum signature, thought it was kind of awesome, figured I'd share it and get people's feedback. I saw something like it, I just took it a step further. If you can tell me the inspiration, I'll give you a digital cookie. Otherwise, I wanted to see a topic for people to get creative with their signatures or ask for help on how to squeeze something in, or do something mildly artistic with it like I have. So yeah, GO!
Signature photos while cool and all, take only one little line of code to accomplish, I was hoping we could discuss text based stuff like my signature.
Huh, seems nobody cares to discuss artistic signatures. Oh well!
