I can try to see if i find one.
But it will take me time.
Yeah, I've looked and looked.... but the closest I've come is coolcamera and that's only a ppc desktop capture and webcam prog.. doesn't even work on the IIs... ah well.
I'm still walkin' an' lookin'.
I was looking for such program as well, but nothing yet. However i wonder if there is a game, wich can use the camera. years ago i saw a game for nokia phones, the aim was to shot flying insects around you. anyone has such game?
i have a qtek 9090.
short answer NO
sorry guys there is no such software yet, the guys from the coolcamera team promised support for our devices but nothing is done yet

thanks for the zip! it's the only one i've been able to find since morphgear's website(s) appears down.
i installed it on my tilt/kaiser and it works good, but afer 5 minutes it stops and promps for activation on the (nes) module, so my question is:
how do i get activation codes if their site is gone?
thanks for reading!

I can't speak to its functionality, but look here:
http://fms.komkon.org/MorphGear/
he has a link to obtain licenses - which takes you to a site to buy them.

got it! you guys are way smarter than me. and you rock!
does anyone know what happened to morphgear.com/spicypixel anyway?
do you guys think there is a better emu out there for wm6 ppc?
thanks again!

Better than what? Morphgear?
If it wasn't for the sound issue, I would say Smartgear is by far the best. It's ridiculously fast, so fast in fact you have to artificially restrict the frame rate.
Another bonus, the author of Smartgear is still making updates and is trying to fix the sound issue.
If that issue gets fixed, that's $20 I'll be happy to part with (or whatever it costs)

where do you get roms/games that go with the emulator?
roms
the best place to get roms is a torrent site...i.e. mininova.org
in fact you can find "a lot" of things there
I prefer to use utorrent, its tiny and VERY functional.
happy downloading and I hope you dont have comcast...
What should I do to the employee that smacked my HTC tytn II out of my hand (and broke it!) while recording him singing some pretty funny video at a kareokee bar? As I am sitting here trying to get back to normal with the p.o.s. ATT Tilt...?? any suggestions? besides the obvious of making him buy the tilt...
Thanks!
Boomin
Break him like little twig....

NES = Nintendo Entertainment System. An NES emulator emulates the NES console system so you can play the old games on your PPC/smartphone/PC.
pocketnesterplus FTW
I take it you have the Kaiser then....well my tilt is coming in the mail, but I plan on flashing it to the HTC ROM ASAP....if I can extract the original ROM to get the AIM client then I will (No idea how) send it to you....I thought the HTC ROM came with an AIM client though....do you know how I'd go about extracting the data you need??
looking for emulation for snes
does anyone know where i could get emulators for nes?
Hello,
First of all i love the site , My Kaiser is now pumped up with some of the best software that you guys have recommened, My Fav software so far is the HTC Album with the Gesture comands (Very Iphone )
This leads me onto my only gripe and was hoping some one could help me
the question is - "Is there any decent Gesture based web Browsing software?" either in the works or already availble?
I have moved onto using OPRA, i really like it but can't seem to get to grips with zooming in or out (is it at all possible)
thanks in advance

If zooming in/out is what you need, you may want to take a look at Opera Mini, particularly with the latest improvements (see the Wiki / the General forum for them)
use the piscel viewer, it is EXACTLY the same as the iPhone browser. I ripped it off the new verizon samsung phone and it works great. Let me know if you need the cab.
It's spelled 'picsel', but I agree that it's a sweet little web browser that acts very similarly to the iPhone browser.
It was posted in the Hermes forum awhile back and I grabbed it then. Good thing, cuz you can't find it anywhere anymore.

Not sure if this is old news. The Sony Xperia X1 was displayed today. The video acceleration is the same as my un-modded Tilt. Here is a video link and approx 3:30 into the video you need to pay attention. Watch how long it takes after the qwerty keyboard is exposed for the video display to draw to landscape. It also seems as this device is a resistance display and not capacitance. I was under the impression that there were video drivers being used on this device. however the overall design is well thought out, and the GUI, as far as the pannels go, are nice. But overall i think i will just stick with my tilt.

of course, it's made by HTC. What did you expect.
Or perhaps it a April Fool's joke...er.
I'l still be buying one.

Me too.
Also, you have to remember it is still pre-production. The drivers prolly haven't been implemented.

*looks at his crippled tilt on the desk*
I need to see some real world, real user benchmarks before any phone company sees another dime of my money.
Yeah, I guess that is true, lol.
i'm still down for an x1 whether it fixes the issue or not

Fish panel
Am I the only one that really likes the fish panel? I wish we can have that for our tilt
The fish pannel.

Sorry guys, we've already got several xperia threads floating around that could have been used.

Hello,
I have been searching for a good scientific calculator for mine kaiser for a long time, but no success. I am learning Match, and i need to calculate time to time complex things. I could do it on excel but to write formula there takes a lot of times and is not handy.
i know of 1-calc it's more for ekanomist, i need more options in calc...
Any ideas what i could try?
Thanks in advance...
SpaceTime is good.

I recommend PowerOne made by Infinity Softworks. www.infinitysw.com
I hope this helps.
Panoramic calc pro aint bad either, if someone knows for one that is more sofisticated...please suggest
Panoramic calc pro is great got every thing that geek like me could want
SpaceTime is more like Grafp drawer, but nice too.
powerOne doenst have WM version of scieentific calc
A the moment Panoramic calc pro is best for me, it got sprity advanced calc functions + will be easy to cheat at exams, jsut becosue can draw graph with it..
Thank you all for all support
HiCalc seems pretty good too.
Guys, which one of them is programmable (if any)? I mean defining own functions and so forth... Cheers
Another option would be VTI Pocket Emulator, which emulates TI calculators. I've got the TI89 and the TI83plus running at the moment for school. Should be able to define your own functions, etc.

Will have look at it, thanks...
Just came across this post yesterday and others while I was looking for a scientific calculator for my Kaiser, I've tried 1-calc, HiCalc and SpaceTime. HiCalc is by far the best of the three, has many useful features.
A little bit more then a scientific calculator, but PocketCAS is a freeware app that does symbolic algebra, calculus, and trig. Very nice app if you are taking high level math/science courses.

I use this prg for couple of years now. It is complicated but when you make all adjustments to mach your needs is very stable and it can give all the information you ever need almost at the medical level. I have even a HRM band and a arm band for htc hd and is amassing. I didn`t find anything like it anywhere. It is very expensive but is wort all the money if you train regulately. I highly recommend this prg (I don`t work for them an I don`t have any commercial interest connected by them). the only thing what i don't like to that program is graphics, it is made for qvga screens and even if is working fine in WVGA it is ugly.
What he said. Pretty ugly, but excellent performance. I haven't found any other app to match it, or even to come anywgere close.
theres also so sporty pal
I tryed sportpal, but i find it kind of dif to understand the program :S
Just to add to the list of programs, even if it's not aimed at runners, it could be well used to keep track of your movements, it's a program called NoniGPSPlot.

Sportypal difficult it's very easy to use, click on start and start running
Just wondering if there are any other apps out there, specifically apps that upload to the web your progress, example: Nokia Sports Tracker and RunKepper for iPhone
I'm with Sportypal on my phone, i just came back from skiing, it worked great, also have been using the running and cycling mode.
The option for goal is nice and on some versions there is even voice feedback.
