Problem with batery fixed
My MDA Compact II was byed in Croatia. I was installed a few different AKU ROM (UK, CZ, DE, PDAMobiz, WM6) but I had problem with short duration batery, max 2 day. With new AKU ROM 3.3 WWE, evrything is fixed, batery is like new.
can i install it into my UK compact II?

Thank you! It works with "HTC Charmer noid.zip" for my German T-Mobile MDA Compact II. To run software update I extracted all files from firmware update into one folder (without subfolders) and then copy there files from "HTC Charmer noid.zip"

I just have my Qtek 9100, and am really happy with it! I used to work with a very old ROM version, something like 1.1.7.5, and patched it to the 2.8.7.1 version, which really improved software speed etc.
What I was meaning to ask:
I have runned several different ROMs now:
Qtek: 2.8.7.1
I-Mate: 2.16.9.1
MDA Vario: 1.6.2.2
(The version numbers may be off a bit, but I'm actually concerned about the brand)
Is there one, which is like -- the best -- or something like that?
I used them all, and for what I can tell, the Qtek and I-Mate are both fast, and the MDA Vario ROM was really like hell...
So, if you all could post wich ROM you use and why, please!

Except if you want the added BT functionality like A2DP... the iMate rom doesn't have A2DP which I discovered to my annoyance last weekend.
I just got a wizard and it is an MDA 1.6.2.4 WWE rom, which is not included on your list.
where can i download qtek 2.8.7.1 rom ??
I'm using 1.6.2.4 but if you send me the latest one I appriciate so I can upgrade my Qtek9100.

there are many roms that work on the mda vario for ext ive had the best experience with the cingular rom from summiter but you could go for any of them
yeah I was a beginner an I am now advance user of HTC wizard. And I have now problem with extROM. I can`t write there :-(.. I was use unlockextrom.ceb and it was unlock extrom to Look an I need unlocke it for write.. On ROM 1.5.x WWE it was posibble and now it isn`t yet .. Is it any way for write to extROM on HTC wizard? I have ROM 2.26 WWE (T-Mobile)

well there is no qtek rom, i just called it that cos thats really whats its like, no operator branding.

I'm looking for WM6 original upgrade ROM for HTC P4350. I need KPN (dutch) one. I still have WM5 with IPL/SPL 1.08.0001 (so cannot hard-spl it...)
Can't find this rom at internet, coz 10-2008 was deadline for WM5 -> WM6 upgrading.
Does somebody have this rom in the computer or something like that?
