Cingular/AT&T cabs HELP

I need some cingular or AT&T cabs for my Herald/P4350/WING. I recently switch carrier so that i can get better service. if there is already a post like this can you point me in the proper direction. Also does anybody know if 3G will work on the P4350( I already know it doesn't but i figure someone might have developed a fix for that LOL).
I was searching for these myself but no luck this is why i started this thread.

Cooking questions

Anyone have the HTC_TouchDialer OEM pack or just the rgu file.
Trying too cook again, missing the finishing touches. [Whats that burning smell?]
Oh, one more thing; how do I preset the settings for battery status, today screen, etc. (I don't want to be screwing with settings after flashing).
I have it working for the most part (it flashes and works....mostly), I'm just trying to figure out how to get the rest of it working the way I want it to.

Ok, can't get the bluetooth working either.

Anyone have a MS VoiceCommand cab?
ROM cooking == headache.

Yes, cooking roms can become a head ache... It takes time to cook a good rom. As for the oem packages, just search the forum, there all over the place.

I was really frustrated last night. I ended up putting Open Touch 3.0 Slimline back on and actually paying for MS Voice Command 1.6 ($40 USD.... ouch).

Why would did you buy it? If you really had to have it then you should have PM me and I would have tried to find time and cook a custom rom for you instead of wasting your money like that...
I don't mind helping people, when I have time.
I will work on yet another release with voice command included to help prevent others from having to waste their money.

I just got used to hitting the button on the side of my phone and saying
"Call Jamie Cell" and it dials Jamie's mobile number.
The rest of slimline is great.
If you ever need a touch dialer or comm manager skin, let me know.

ttran001 I could really use your help on cooking some roms up. I already have my OEM SYS and ROM folders extracted. Just a lil confused on how to add and subtract stuff. PM me some time and maybe you can set up a lesson for me when you have some free time. Appreciated

I want to join such lesson too. The only reason i'm not cooking my ROMs is that i don't know what things can i remove from the SYS folder, how to change page pool size without a page pool size changer, and how can i get so much free RAM as ttran does.
So ttran, if you would open a learning thread, i'll be the first one to read it!

Folks,
I will try to open a thread to help you out as soon as I get some free time from my other projects and trying to fix minor issues folks are having with me releases..
But please remember that I too had to spend lots of hours reading from this great forum and after hundreds of test flashs finally got where I am now.
I'm only a beginer cook compared to some of the great ones in this forum.
The main point is it takes time to figure things out and when you do you will know it like the back of your hand.
If some one show you everything, then what have you really learned?
This is about becoming a cook of roms for users to enjoy.
Itje wrote a very good howto cook thread and should be a very good starting point for anybody who wants to become a cook.
What I've learned is that it's not about cooking a good rom and having people say cool stuff about yourself, it's about cooking a good stable rom where users enjoy and rely on daily.

AT&T Programs

Are there any links to the original AT&T cab files for stuff like the XM Radio, Mobi TV, PTT, etc? Just because everyone else might not like to use them doesn't mean I might not want to.

One Id use the wiki on this one... before you get flamed. But to answer your question.. If you are still on the stock rom they are still there in your windows folder. Just not installed after the soft reset. If you are not using the stock ROM then The wiki has your answer.

Not trying to get flamed. I searched the wiki for Kaiser but it didn't show anything regarding the files i'm looking for.
I'm using a cooked rom so the files aren't there.

what files do you want? Heres two places to look... and i pulled one from the wiki and the other was a search.

The wiki didn't provide any links to the programs I really wanted and the thread you listed is the Kaiser cabs. I'm looking for the specific AT&T ones whether it's just one big cab with the files or each program individually.
I'm looking to put back the following things since I won't have to pay for any of it:
PTT
XM Radio
Mobi TV
Music ID
anything else would be ok.

Are you on a att stock rom. If so they are in the windows folder

here you go, cant seem to upload the xmradio cab, keep getting upload failed. these come from the latest 6.1 leaked rom from at&t

Thanks for the links so far. I actually found a link through another site and unfortunately not on this one but the MobiTV wasn't working right so I'll try the one posted above.
And YES I did do a detailed search on this site and I couldn't find it. I don't want to spend 30+ min searching for something if someone here knows or has the file links directly already. It helps saves time and that's why we come to forums for.
Plus the site you listed, it DOESN'T have the files I'm looking for. Only thing close is the whole AT&T rom which will include it if I can extract it out of the cab file but what's the point if the cabs already exsist out there. And yes I looked at the links that would seem relevent to what I'm searching for on the HTCWiki. That's not even related directly to this site btw.

Does anyone have the PTT cab? I know most people despise it but I want to use it for work and every rom maker pretty much strips it out.

The easiest way to find most cabs you are looking for are in peoples signatures. Go into my signature under AT&T you might find what you are looking for. **XM Radio and MusicID are installed with Cingular Video** MobiTV will also install, but not work, you will need to also download that seperate**

Except, all of those things do cost extra - the freebie part with AT&T are just for trials (MobiTV is 3 day free trial, PTT needs to be added to your account ($9.99/month), XM Radio needs a subscription, and Music ID is a pay-per-use service ($0.99/song plus data minutes).

Another one that i haven't seen much conversation on through the forums is the Videoshare dialer in the test 6.1 att roms. Has anyone extracted this feature for either OEM Package addition or in a cab form to use on cooked roms? Thanks for any help you can provide.

True, it does cost money, but I said "I don't have to pay for it" and not you don't have to pay for it. I work for AT&T as a sales rep so that's the reason why I don't need to pay for those services. It's a company owned phone.

Ahh, I see - I, of course, had no idea you worked for AT&T. Just I've seen people who think that these are free apps, not free trials, and they get their desire a bit dashed when they realize that.

Kaiser Tuning with diamond.cab?

Hi,
did anybody heard about a tuning utility
"diamond.cab"
to increase the speed of the Kaiser?
I just got if from a friend, have not tried it yet, want to ask 1st because my information from this forum is that so far overclocking is not possible on the Kaiser and I do not belive in Voodoo ...

Let us know how it works!

I was hoping to get some feedback whether anybody is knowing about this cab file before I start ruin my Kaiser ...
I have seen it it running last week on my friends Kaiser (from the US) and he told me that this piecs of software is speeding things up. But it was during a exhbition for only a couple of seconds and than there was no more time for me to have a closer look. Now I got it but I am not quite sure whether I should dare to to give it a try.

Why don't you share the file and let the others try?
If you are worried to try that cab out, why don't you share the cab to this community. Maybe there will be some of us who's gonna try it

Here it is, I was not sure whether I should poste a file right away and get 97 flames because this is known allready (and I must confess that I have not expected that this could be a new information to the community) ..., so therefore I was trying to ask 1st

PS: Another reason was and is also that I want to avoid making a program public what the developer does not want because it is in an early stage or so, because I have seen discussions that developers stopped their work because some internal beta testers shared the program with the public

I tried it out and i dont know if it is working or not. I will get back with some updates. I am playing with the screen sensitivity right now. Some of the options wont work..like with the g-sensor.

unfortunately it does not set any reg-entries which we could interpret
I extracted the .exe (which is the only thing in this cab)... don't know what it does ...

Sorry for the trouble I created, just tested the software and found easily the link of the source.
My friend made it very strange and told me he got this "secret" program at a "corner" from a Chinese guy and that it would increase the clock speed.
From the web site what I understood on the fly is that it is basicaly setting some regestries. Pritty much the same as the dedicated Kaiser Tweak or Schaps Advanced config can do (but those ones are better)
Sorry guys I have not found "Pandoras Box" to speed up the Kaiser

Tilt needed

My very good friend ather (ather90) is looking to buy a Kaiser (any variant) so that he could cook on it. If you have any reasonable offers (hopefully lower than 150 is what he's looking for), please either PM me or him. I know many of you have moved to other devices and have your devices laying around, so if you're interested, let him know. He's in Bahrain so you'd have to be able to ship international.
He would've posted this, but he thinks i'm more known here and wanted me to do it

Lol, kind of random in this thread. Anyhow, i use a combo of a lot of stuff. I finished uploading my kitchen yesterday (around half a gig) and i'll be releasing it soon so you and everybody else can use it.

Additional detail:
-Would like the Tilt to be in good condition and everything working.
-Doesn't matter where it's coming from.
-Payment via Paypal only
