As I have seen there is an WM6 upgrade in English based on a german ROM. So has anyone already made a german WM6 ugrade for the Herald without any customizations or extra software in it?
Unfortunately I'm completely new in this forum and don't know how to create my own german ROM.

No. There is only an english version.
when I first got my BA, it was german, I took great strains to get a german version. long story short: i recently flashed it to WWE - it's sexier.
WM5 on it is WWE as well. Why? Because it's like the standard sexy of WWE but then powered by WM5

Does anybody know if its possible to get localized ROMs somewhere? Like, say, Russian ROM, French ROM etc. Do they exist?

:lol: I've got a French localized version on my Qtek 9100 and I'm trying to move to a WWE version (the WWE Qtek 9100 was 240 Euro's more expensive than the FRE Qtek 9100).
If I only I could make a dump of the ROM for you... but I'm stuck with the password issue when I try the 'r2sd all' inside the romupdate.exe program.

I'm actually looking for the cab to customize it for setup to use on SFR in France.

Yes, it's possible. I have the O2 XDA Mini S from O2 Germany and I want a WWE ROM too
But for the best we should wait a little bit more - right now people are working hard on a crack that will save us the 28 EUR wanted by imei-check.co.uk for the service.
A WWE ROM can be found of the ftp of I-mate, but as I said you better wait for a couple of days.

As I learned on Friday, the awaited 9100 will be the English version and not the German one, as I expected. Sorry guys!

I bought 2 9100's unfortunately with German OS en Keyboard
I still have a German Qtek 9100, although I do not know how to do this.
I upgraded the other one to the WWE with succes but the hardware keyboard is now qwerty also and did not find a fix to set this back to QWERTZ.

you cant. Charmer has only been released as T-mobile and Dopod product. You could possibly find a french version if someone made it for you, but unfortunatelly for you such rom has never seen a daylight.

I have an QTEK S110 device. The problem is that the OS (WM 2003 SE) is in german. ( . Can i install something, or maybe an upgrade so i can have it in ENGLISH ??? PLS. And, one more thing, can i upgrade to WM 5 ???
