After my first hard reset my qtek g100 lost the midlet manager link the jmm.exe also. Is there any way to install midlet manager again ?
thank you
Have you lost only the shortcut to jmm.exe or the complete application. If it's only the shortcut then you can easily create one with the built-in file explorer. If the whole application is gone, then check the ftp site for the cab file under the Extended ROM folder.
Downloaded the 'WM5 BA - TuMa v1.3 - Release' zip file and extracted the MidletManager-TuMa CAB. Passed it to the QTEK g100 storage card and instaled it. No errors so far. After installation made a soft reset. Midlet Manager link was there in Programs. The jmm.exe, etc also installed ok. However clicking the link or the jmm.exe file directlly nothing happens. What am I doing wrong ?
Do you know how can I put my name and my registration code into my package ( for kitchen) or how can I put them into the cab file so I dont need to type the code everything I do the hardreset. THX
If your software keep the reg info in the registry, just add this key to your package's rgu; if on the other hand the info is in a file, just add the file and don't forget to add the file into initflashfiles

Is the installer in the form of a .cab file? I'm willing to bet that you're opening the CAB file on your PC and looking inside it, which isn't the way to go here. You're supposed to copy the entire CAB file across onto your phone then launch the CAB file from your phone to run the installer.
Hello.
Just want to ask,why I cannot lot of cabs open in OCPSoftware WinCE Cab Mgr? Some files could be opened, some not. Or exist another similar tool?
Thanks.
I had the same issue with WinCE CAB Manager version 3. The solution was downgrading to version 2, which seems to take all CAB files just fine.
So i own HTC Touch Diamond, and i wondered how to install apps or games there.
I installed ActiveSync 4.5 and it sychs great, i installed Zuma on it because it was .exe file.

an XML file that you're referring to is an existing file in the cab file. You do not need to extract the contents of the file cab. Just copy it to your device and click on one. Cab will install everything, including settings in the xml.
Thankyou, i already find that by myself, but i hit ''thanks button'' anyways
