Do you want to have a working, WM6 rom for Trinity? I really want that because I have a Tytn with WM6-rom and a Trinity with WM5-rom and I must say that WM6 is so much better, faster and nicer. Its so damn nice that I use my Tytn daily even that I really like my Trinity better. We have 2 coders here that are willing to make this happening (Lvsw and mun_rus). I dont think we will see an WM6-rom from Htc so the only way to make this possible is to do it ourselves. I cant code but I can help by starting a donation thread so they get something for their effort and for using their spare time for this. Please please donate so they feel that its worth the work. Maby some Admin can make this a sticky so everyone see this. Please state your name and the amount of your donation so we can keep count.
The donation has ended and the money will be sent to Lvsw and mun so lets hope it will generate a working WM6-rom for us. Thank you all for your donations the final sum ended at $725 -Paypal fee thats stunning.

So where does the money go in the meantime? I'd be happier with a real escrow service of some kind, so I can get my money back if they don't want to develop it or fail in the process.

Nice one... It's called donation, so I dont think there is money back, and also development do not means u will get it for sure.
BTW, why the donation link is different from the other post????
Unfortunately our paypal account doesn't allow us to recieve donation (if i understand error message correctly...if itsn't so let me know)...coz we live in Russia( So bad news for us...

The easiest way to unlock your phone regardless of model is simply to call the carrier(i.e. at&t, t-mobile etc) and ask them to give you the unlock code. If you've been a customer for awhile or if you're a good talker you will have no problem doing it. You can even do this for phones like the Razr or even Nokias. Just about any phone can be unlocked this way. Good luck.

Why, this device is not even (yet) being relesed for discounted sale on contract so it will be sim unlocked to begin with. now CID unlock, that may be of use to people..........

i dont know if its just me but What gives?? every other phone that has being released by HTC has being made SIM & CID unlocked for free or have got a work around by the guys on these forums sometimes quickly sometimes in a few months but they are one step ahead of HTC they love a challenge as other develipers out there do (just look at the iphone that was upgraded to make hackproof and the hack was on the net within 2hours of the firmware update being released so apple wasted all there time and money for nothing.) so yes im sure pigs can fly (i saw it on the simpsons but mr burns never forked out the $1,000,000 to the orphanage) and i know the devs here will have this device working as sweet as they can better than ur wildest dreams and it will without charge but not free they spend time and effort and deserve our donations and respect. unless ur a tight wad and if so, get of ur flamming high horse saying it wont be done....

What are you trying to unlock? It already is SIM unlocked. Just put in a SIM card from any carrier and it will work... Sheesh.

Can somebody tell me if I can unlock(clear SIM-Lock or operator-lock) Xperia X1 with a firmware change? Or do I need something else? Can you give me a link to it? I saw the link above(with ROMs), I know that I can flash X1 with these ROMs using ROM Update Utility(somewhy called Kovsky) and I saw also a topic with Hard-SPL, but don't know what's its purpose.

For the general knowledge of all - Every donation to Tupisdin results in a donation to XDA-Developers. We did check that a long time ago and Admin confirmed that the donations to XDA-Dev were being received.

I find using other people their work to make money off it offensive. Would you people donate every penny to either the creator of the unlocker(s) or XDA-Developers, sure - no reason to stop a good cause. But the selfishness of selling it as your own doing is simply appalling.
That, is in no way nonsense.
So, I'd love to be proven wrong and finding out that you're doing this with tools you created yourself. In that case, you shouldn't advertise it on XDA.
If it's not the above - you don't belong on XDA.

hello every one
i m using xperia x1... now there is some problem... i cant send a msg to any body when i press the send button its showing one notification
it says:
your text msg can not be sent. be certain that your service center address is correct in settings and then try sending the msg again.
and when i m trying to check the text msg setting its showing error also.
it can not read setting from the network.
is there any kind of unlock software or some thing.?
plz if any body knows about it let me
