HTC Homeplug

hey guys,
I have a G3 Wizard( Cingular 8125) and I want the Touch plug-in that shows the time, has the weather and, the launcher. I installed it on my Hermes(HTC TyTN) but it wont install on my Wizard. any help would be most appreciated. btw Wizard is WM5, Hermes is WM6(Dutty)

The Touch plug-in does not work on WM5. Sorry.

Of course it doesnt run on WM5, I'm such an idiot. Thanks

Hi Marius -
You are looking at two different pieces of software on that phone.
The first one is the HTC Home screen for the TyTNII, which HAS been copied over to the Trinity. You can tell if that is the home screen used in the ROM because it will usually be shown as HTC Home Kaiser or something similar. You can also install this using a standalone CAB file. Search the board to find the cab, it's in the Trinity WM6 portion of the board.
The second one is a piece of software called Touchflo. The real Touchflo software requires that the touchscreen hardware be the same as the Kaiser or the HTC Touch. Those two phones use different touchscreen hardware (physical chips and the digitizer screen) than the Trinity. So, no one has been successful using the real Touchflo software on the Trinity, and probably never will.
However, there have been some attempts to get the same functions from other software. I've seen something called alphatouchflo, and there are other packages. Note that they do not have all of the same functionality. For example, I haven't seen any of them that could allow use f the scrolling feature to replace sidebar scrolling. I've only seen good scrolling of a third-party contacts list (see PocketCM as an example). This software is also available in a standalone CAB file if you like.
There is a thread devoted explicitly to using Touch Flo on the Trinity in the WM 6 section. If you take a minute or two you can easily find it.

yes... but i`m looking for rom. the rom have htc home screen instaled in it.
and in this video the scrolling works perfect... i read on the htc p3600 this "tochflo" have some problems. but on other devices these cooked rom with "touchflo" work good. i still looking and waiting for a good rom wm6(not a aplication "touchflo"). now i have wm5.

Hi Marius -
The other devices that use Touchflo have different hardware which is why the Touchflo works for them. The device shown in the video is the HTC Prophet series, which uses the same touch screen as the Kaiser/TyTN II (which is different form the Trinity). You will not find any software or ROMs that can run the Touchflo software on the Trinity. As far as CAB software compared to a ROM, the only difference is in the method of installing. It doesn't matter if you install the software using a CAB file or if it is already included in a ROM, except that you can remove software installed using a CAB if you don't like it.
I suggest you continue watching the thread about Touchflo on the Trinity in the WM6 folder. That thread contains the most current information about using Touchflo on the Trinity.

don't know if this was posted already but there is a 6button home plugin that works with the stock wm5 on the wizard, even the weather works. if its not yet posted i will upload the cab.

i havent seen one, probably is posted though. no harm in uploading it though, i could use a copy ;p

Does anybody knows if in any post is the cab for cube in tnt series rom wm6, i have down load the tnt series pro + htc home but i like to have the cube does anybody help me a little i tried to download it from rapidshare but its broken that link it said that i need to pay for the file, rapidshare sucks men!
Oh i forget said that i've benn experimented a high comsuming battery with this rom does anybody knows there is another rom without this issue, i have version 1933 tnt wm6 pro + htc home.

I had same battery issues with TNT1933 but 5.0 seems much better. I think there is a version TNT 5.0 professional+home+touchflo which includes the cube installed.( I know that 1933 did not have cube)

HTC Plugin & Touchflo

Can anybody tell me where to get the 6tab HTC Home Plugin and the Touchflo cube that actually fits the screen for the Treo 750 for AT&T, thanks to anybody who can help. Also I have used the Touch Commander 2.02 and I wanted to know others thoughts on it. Thanks again

The HTC home screen is around here somewhere I actually DL but i can t seem to find the post
I have them running on treo 750 with the latest WM6 from ATT
Its nice but to setup initially I didnt feel like setting up all those darn button
I stuck with point UI even tho its still a W.I.P...

Dialer & Comm manager

Dearest TyTn fans, hi there!!
I've recently (one day ago) upgraded my loved Tytn to a Tytn II (Vodafone), I can't be happier , though, I have some mods in mind which I used to have on my Tytn and I'm not being able to find for my new Kaiser.
I was using the dialer and the comm manager created by Schap. Could anyone tell me where can I find them for the Kaiser (if this allready exist, obviously).
I would be very gratefull!!!.

I'm not sure about Schap's Dialer. Maybe you can ask him?
