Has anyone gotten a chance to try out this new A2DP headset?
It has earbuds, unlike the slightly annoying Jabra BT8010

5 Hr a2dp battery life
Yeah, I just noticed no caller id display too...
I have an SE HBH-DS970
The battery life could be better and it only displays numbers not names but sound quality is excelent.

I don't think it's out yet... I believe the release date is around the end of next month.
I actually like this thing so far. I use the dual ear plug designs because I spend a lot of time in datacenters or busy offices where it is hard for me to hear. I like to be able to concentrate on what I am hearing. When you are trying to go deaf from too many Rush concerts you have to be selective on the gear you buy.

Best Buy and others are carrying them, I have purchased several of them and I really enjoy them for being an all in one solution. I would like better AudioIQ and Mic as seen in the 665 versions, but for now its battery life works ok, I see between 4 and 6 hours of solid use, purchasing 2 of them will get you through a days worth of airplane travel and they have great standby time. The music isn't bad and the lack of cables makes them function pretty well for my needs...

Plantronic 855
I was tempted to get the 855, but purchased the 590A instead. I am very satisfied with their fit and preformance. Those earbuds dont always stay properly secured for me.
I agree, but the 855 ships with multiple earbuds and the built in loop makes it very usable...

It's probably okay for some people, but I find the sound quality from my diamond leaves something to be desired. I've used the SRS WOW thing but I think now I'm up against the hardware limitations...
Does anyone know / have an opinion on whether the major limitation on sound quality is the phone itself or the headphones? I was thinking of getting some decent headphones (and a converter) and, although this will definitely improve the sound quality somewhat, is the output from the phone good enough to justify this... or would I have more satisfaction from, say, setting fire to my money ?
the headphones supplied with the Diamond are sh*te.
i have made a adaptor out of the original headphones, so i can plug in a decent set, sounds much better!
I only have the original headset, and it is indeed very low quality, but when I use my Motorola S9 it's a whole different experience.
I know the S9 is expensive, but it's worth every penny.
Interesting! So, essentially, the problem seems to be the headphones. Anyone else have any experience?
yeh, what i did was take the diamond headphone, cut the actual ear pieces off and solder on a 3.5mm socket, so i can plug any headphones in
this should help. i've already got one.

And now a have great sound!!!

There's a thread somewhere that says that they work pretty well with the diamond. Or (now) a moto s9, as they are apparently so awesome...
I bought on ebay the X-Mini II external Speaker and i will use it on my N7 3G.
When on my hand i will post my personal review. Stay Tuned...

I own three of these bad boys, its great they connect up to each other each with 3.5 out put and each has its own 3.5 in put so theoretically you could have an infinate chain of these. Each has its own battery. I have a wire connected to mine to extend the reach between the device and speakers

I have these too, great little speakers. They'll go nicely plugged into the official docking station when it's finally available in the UK.
X-minis are pretty damn impressive for the size of the things if you place them on a suitably resonant surface. I've got a Beacon Phoenix now though, mainly bought for the convenience of Bluetooth but that sounds even better for its size and doesn't have an irritatingly short cable
I got the slightly larger ones that do stereo:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PK1COG/ref=wms_ohs_product
50 bucks vs 2x20 for a pair of Mini II and a special mini stereo to pair of mini mono cable. I should point out that you can always get the stereo to pair of mono cable to expand that mini at any time. Also you can get the max ones for less than 50. Quick search for the type of stereo mono cable: http://www.amazon.com/STEREO-3-5mm-...&keywords=Cable+stereo+mini+to+dual+mini+-RCA

I love my X-minis , have the II, the Max II and the Kai (bluetooth).
They get used by everyone in the family and I'll often use them with my N7 for streaming radio (buddyjacked or chained) or watching a movie.
My thoughts here.
Is here any audiophile ? Or I am a lone ?
Just interesting what kind of headphones/headset's you using guys (post picture please)
I'm using Sennheiser IE 80 with custom cable APOLLONIAN SERIES from PlusSound.
About this cable:

Wires are braided to provide better quality sound while reducing low range and interference noises.
Wires covered with flexible, durable, and transparent natural insulation. Lower section is sleeved for improved ergonomics.

The quality of the sound is "reference signature". Reached totally another lever.
Big thanks to Sony Xperia Z witch is provides superior quality with ClearAudio+
You next.
Regards
Those earphones look really expensive. I don't really care too much about audio, find it hard to tell the difference unless I do a side by side comparison.
I'm only using my MDR-1R that I got free with the phone and looking to buy SBH20 so I can connect my headphones to that and then use NFC/BT to connect to phone. The audio quality would probably be pathetic if I do this, but its more practical and I don't want to be opening the flaps on my Xperia all the time
AW: What kind of headphones/headset are you using ?
Didnt have that much time yet with the Z, but I'm quite pleased from what I heard. I use Denon AH-D1100, B&W P5 and some Phonak Audéo, forgot which ones though.
Not really a review but more of a recommended buy. I got one almost a year ago and I use it pretty rough in my car and neither end is splitting or even look like its breaking and it charges really fast. Here is the link guys and buy in bulk and save money on shipping.
It's the B-Type and I'm sure the rest are good too. Mono price makes some damn good stuff.

I have been using them for years. I just bought 10 - 10 foot cables for ~$1.78 each. The worst trouble I had with any of them was my dog... she loved to eat them.
Seriously, I think I have bought 50-60 over the years (mostly because of my dog) and have only had one fail.
I get their premium cables without the ferrite. I don't find it get interference with from them or from other devices. I also find throughput is little better. I don't buy in that high a bulk. Usually around two to five cables fits my needs.
I manage a team of technicians with Galaxy S5 & LG G2 phones and they always seem to lose cables. My dog that was the cable eater passed away late last year, so this was the first order in quite awhile.
I have also used there in ear headphones ~$8. They are quite good for the money with a 1 year guarantee.
Or is it too outdated now, I'm considering getting this one, I like the placement of the camera and the fact I can choose android or tizen, only drawback for me is the 800mhz processor, so I figured I'd ask other users opinions.

Don't waste your time or money for a product that doesn't have a reasonable way to replace the battery. I bought two of them and the battery completely died with very little use in one of them. I will not buy another Samsung watch.

Well there's not very many smartwatches with removable batteries, so I guess you'd be waiting awhile, if they ever come out with one.
They're 50 to 70 bucks now on eBay, I can understand a faulty charging connector or something though, but I highly doubt something this new would suffer from a completely dead and drained battery already by now.
Got mine ordered and on the way, should be here friday or saturday... Hopefully it's still on Android OS and I don't have to retrograde from Tizen.
Nice though that ya can over clock it to 1.60Ghz, I don't see something that small needing a lot of cpu power anyways.
Happy with it regardless of what all it can or can't do makes me want the Rufus Cuff more now... LoL
