Photo snapping - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hi all,
i wonder if there's any possible way to snap the photo faster ....coz it's always blurred.

mine was always blurred because i was holding the "shutter" button too long. a quick press and hold the camera still for a sec and the pictures should improve. of course wait for the green auto focus brackets before you shoot.

Also ensure no finger marks on the lens window inside and out - it makes an incredible difference.

How can I quit the autofocus?

Hello.
How can I quit the autofocus from the camera?.
I want to make a photography and when I push the button, my dog isn't in the place. Because it's so slowly to make a photo.
Can I touch the registry and change this for make the camera more fast?.
Thanks.
I doubt you can. The lens wasn't made for fixed focus... at best you could fix it at infinity but that's not going to help with indoor dog shots...

You do realize it focuses on the half press of the button, right? This is standard problem with all autofocus cameras, and the only real solution is to pre-focus by pressing button halfway, then depressing fully when your subject is in place and composed the way you want it.
Good luck!

camera sucks

if there is slight movement the pictures and film is blurry. any fix for this?

on the dia100 you can remove the plastic lens on the battery cover. makes a good difference, but doesn't help with movement. i would like to know if you can adjust the shutter speed. i know nothing of how cameras work, but assume that would help with streaking/blur.
That's the kicker! If we can adjust shutter speed then all would be fixed. I own a few SLR and DSLR cameras and shutter speed changes everything, you can even make ghost pictures! could some one write a cab file for this? I am no programmer.
If you reduce the shutter speed then the picture will be too dark.... it stays open that long for a reason.
If you use the camera in daylight its 'fine' its becasue the apature/lens is soo small it cant get enough light... hence it has to stay open longer.
Try changing the settings (white balance) to see if that helps you.
If you use advanced config to get rid of all of the lag before the photo is taken and change the settings within the cameras white balance to something better (the 'light bulb' one works well) it shouldn't be too bad.

Panoramic photos?

I know you can take panoramic photo's with the camera on the phone by taking multiple photos..
But is there an app like on the Taylor swift commercial that you just sweep the camera around the room?
Not that I have seen, but why? That feature works perfectly in the camera, you don't really need an app for this.
I'm pretty sure its basically the same thing. The Samsung camera software just gives you a green box to follow and makes a camera sound when you reach it... you're still sweeping from left to right in real time.
Any way to get higher res panorama with the stock camera? The panorama is 640x480 photos stitched together.

The phone does this with the built in app. You can move the phone in a sweeping motion and it will take 8 sequential shots. This can be done in either landscape or portrait mode.
When sweeping the camera a green outline will appear in the area of the next shot to help you properly align the photo. When the outlined area is centered on the screen then the phone automatically captures the next image...wash, rinse, repeat.
I have been using this feature a lot lately since the pictures are gorgeous and it is awesome for group photos. A fun thing I like to do is have someone move along to the next shot and pose so you get a strange clone effect of one person throughout the scene.

Have you tried the action shooting mode? Does a very similar thing.
I too would like to see an app that used higher res images (640x480 really does not cut it)
I would also like to see something that could take 360 degree photos, not just moving the camera left to right but also up and down.
Well that's just the sensor setting, the final resolution will be much greater than that in one direction. Holding the phone vertically will give a nice photo. But I would like a 1080 vertical mode for my dual monitor setup and no black lines.

Yeah, but a panorama that's about 550px tall and has fairly obvious seams makes it less of a big falk that the phone stitched out all by itself. Oh well, if you want it nice you really need a camera with a proper mount, anyway, and preferably raw output, and striving on a computer...

[Q] Camera Auto Focus

I was was wondering if there's a way to make the camera auto focus without the need of touching the screen to focus it.
Its possible?.

Under the settings (gear on bottom left), first page, the focus type should be set to Auto Focus.
From my experience it automatically focuses on whatever is in the box on the screen... however if you want the focus to be on something outside of that area, then you tap on the screen to change the focal distance.
You can test this for yourself by taking a picture of an object that is close to you, keeping it in the box and not tapping the screen, then switching to an object farther away, keeping it within the box... both pics should be properly focused. Finally, take a pic with a closer object outside the box, then tap to select the object and change the focus... the closer image will be in focus even though it is not directly in the center of the picture.
Well, thanks a lot.
I already had the focus type configured as Auto Focus.
Tried taking some pictures and the focus seems to be well, but I think pics taken by touching the screen to focus the camera have much better quality.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
I would tend to agree with that... I usually tap the screen myself as long as I have time... but in a pinch when I just need a quick shot, then it's just point and shoot.

Telephoto camera not always active

I tried to see which camera is which by covering them and the telephoto doesn't seem to be active.
Once in a while in zoomed mode it'll blink to my finger but it's usually using the regular camera. Is this normal or some algorithm?

Zooming in doesn't activate the Telephoto Lens.
Open the Camera, along the right edge (vertical) or top edge (horizontal) there are 3 yellow icons with trees on them;
One seems close up -(telephoto lens button).
Middle one seems slightly farther away -(normal range shots).
One has a grouping of trees -(wide angle lens)
Pressing these activates the lens you want.
To test them all, along the right or bottom edge you'll see labels for Google Lens, Portrait, Triple Shot and AI CAM ... hit the Triple Shot and take a picture holding the camera still till all three lenses have taken a picture ... then check that picture and you'll see all three shots played out as a mini movie ... all three will be your validation that all lenses are working.
If that doesn't happen as outlined ... take the phone back to the store and exchange for one that's not broken.
If there isn't enough light, it won't use the telephoto lens. Instead it uses the main lens with a bigger aperture, and digital zoom to 2X. I hate that and would rather have direct control. Try the test in a bright environment.
