Guys,
The HTC touch diamond functions lookpretty cool. The contacts application, the weather application, the music browse app, etc etc (In short, the touch diamond User Interface), all look pretty amazing.
Can this be made available for the TyTN II as well?
I think that's the general focus of many of the busy threads in this area; read around, there's "diamond roms" for the kaiser which seem to offer many of the UI features, and there's a long ongoing project to port the 3D interface to the kaiser too.
I asked this in the software area already. I would suggest looking for a thread that was started like about 2 days ago and see if anybody responded. If not, I suggest dont start another post. Many people here love to bite peoples head's off for not using the search feature.
First off, sorry for posting a question that seems so common that it would already be answered somewhere on the forums. However, I have been searching for three days and can not find an answer to this question: How to change the theme of TouchFlo3D.
Here is a link to a theme I would like to use:
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-dirty-paper-theme.html
The DiamondT3D Config did not seem to work correctly. I assume it only functions properly for the HTC Touch Diamond (I am using a Kaiser).
Is there an existing thread or Wiki entry to covers this topic?
Thanks in advance.

Since the Kaiser does not have Touch Flo 3D, I would say that trying to put a theme and config program written for T3D on it is rather fruitless.
There has been an effort to put T3D on the Kaiser ,but I think the effort has all but been abandoned, as people move on to actual T3D phones.

It stands to reason taht the theme you're trying to put on your device is VGA, while your device is QVGA, which means that it won't work. Also, if there were themes available for TF3D for the Kaiser, there would be a thread created for them. If/When that time comes feel free to ask your question there. For now this thread will be closed.
Colleagues,
I upgraded my Fuze to .NET to 3.5 but when I go to .NET Config I see 2 different numbers. The first line shows: 3.5.7283.0 (ROM). The second line shows: 2.0.7045.0.
Why 2 different numbers and what version of .NET do I have?
Thanks in advance.
Using the search you will find the answer to your question....#Greetz
Boris
You have 2.0, which came with your phone, and 3.5, which you added. Select 3.5 in config -- it's backward compatible.
emesbe,
Thank you for your useful response (as opposed to others').
how exactly do you upgrade the .NET to 3.5. i downloaded it from the microsoft website and it said it wasnt a valid ppc file.
i used the search function (typed .NET and also tried .NET upgrade) i even tried google. anyway basically all i want this for is so i can use the diamond beer app aswell as any other app i might download or create that might need it.
thank you.
There are 2 versions, one for PC (wrong) and one for PPC /mobile (right), you have to choose & install the correct version....

@jdomi99: my answer was intendet to be usefull, but if someone is sitting down and waiting for other people doing his work, it couldnt be usefull. Your question has been answered here for many times, and its boring answering the same question many times only cause some collegues are to lazy to use that great function called "search", where they can easily find answers themselves.
borisku,
If it is boring answering you should have stayed quiet, and don't call me (or anyone) lazy, a forum like this one is for everyone to help everyone else. Do a Search yourself and post the search results here of what I was looking for so you can see that nothing comes close to answering my specific question.
Looks other for me: thats only one example of many

But I try to help all people, even if they seem to be lazy

dont mind, thats my last answer to that nice post...
Like I said, nothing even close to my specific question. You're fired!
SO...here i am...another newbie with another question which probably has been answered a thousand times... what can you do...
Anyway...just had to hard reset my HTC Touch Diamond and thought that maybe i should freshen it up a bit...ive read that there is a "new" update for touch flo...is it called manila or am i misinformed?
And how the hell am i supposed to install it on my precious mobile?
Is there a thread with a tutorial? Would greatly appreciate it if anyone could answer these questions...feel free to call me newb or slow!
TF3D...
Manila is HTC's 'project' name for TF3D (TouchFlo 3D). You can't officially get a newer version of TF3D without updating your ROM. Having said that, there are some manila mods knocking around this forum, but they're taken from Touch HD, or Touch Diamond 2 (work in progress).
The best thing to do is just make sure you're using a recent ROM, either official or cooked - that way you'll get the latest manila. It won't be any different than the one your device came with, though it may respond better (ie. faster)
Read the 'Themes, applications and software' & 'Diamond ROM development' forums, they will give you the most information
wiki - http://wiki.xda-developers.com/ for all such info
thx a lot guys! i just downloaded the ROM update from the support page...
it actually feels a little smoother now! and finally a good solution to the answer and hang up buttons when the phone rings... hated to hang up when the phone isnt out of the pocket yet
Yes.
Sorry for the n00b-sounding thread here, but I just upgraded from my Mogul and am having trouble navigating to apps/kitchens/tweaks that would be something I'd want to do on my Sprint Touch Pro... it seems that most are developed for the Fuze (GSM and with different specs) or for the Verizon Touch Pro (which has different Specs).
So, yes, I'd like to tweak the sh*t out of my Touch Pro...
a) Get it to launch Skyfire instead of Opera
b) Get TouchFLO 3D 2 if possible
c) See if any kitchens are working/advisable for Sprint version.
*edit: there were more, but this gets the point
Thanks in advance for patience and, Bodgah willing, responses. I've been coming here for ages, for generations of PDA's, and just never ended up posting.
Ok, in regards to your series of questions, there is actually a segment of the Raphael forum dedicated to CDMA phones. I know there are a couple of cooked ROMS and kitchens in there. I'd start there to try to find an upgrade.
To install touch flo 3d2 install XBoxMod's manila upgrade found here... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493531
Keep in mind, as with all things there are a couple of bugs, but nothing that is overly severe. Follow the instructions and you should be fine.
As far as skyfire defaulting, I have yet to find a way to create this as the default browser. Even when selected as "Use as default" I still get the Opera browser.
And above all, before anyone jumps on you, please use the search button. I'm a nice guy, BUT... there are a couple of people on here that aren't so nice.
