Not a problem, ever since my wife got the motorola z9 it has tactile response (vib when button pressed) i thought it would be great for the tilt. I always miss a number using the dialer.
Perhaps the updated video drivers will provider a better response time on the touch screen...
*sigh* hope HTC actually follows through, otherwise I may lean a bit more toward another manufacturer next time (I like playing games during lunch breaks, and when i take the train -- most game's i've found, even basic ones that run on my T-Mobile Wing (HTC Herald), fail on the tilt :-(

Nice bro. You go from being banned for a week and come back with an app. To the mods, ban this guy some more. No telling what he will come back with.

i also created the voice command announcement fix, it fixes the problem of msvc 1.6 not announcing calls on the tilt. link here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=388964

HA HA HA. Wow looks like someone else had the same idea about 3 years ago. Boy did i waste my time. But i guess to answer your question .zip vs .cab other than ripping it apart to inspect how it was written, and it was posted in the Magician forum. Oh well i guess i wasted my time, but on the other hand i hope people found it useful.
Argh, for me, nothing work, no vibrate, no sound.

Hey this cab works great for me. Is there anything that will produce the same type of feedback for the soft keyboard? Or would that depend on the sip?

Any news on this at all?
Hi all, has anyone managed to sort out the 2/3 second delay from phone receiving a call to playing the ringtone? Its rather annoying
I'm also having this problem.
Anyone found a workaround yet?
Anyone? I'm very curious as well.
I am using the new ROM and got also this problem.
My HTC Wizard, running on WM5 has the same problem. Never bothered me, really and always thought WM was the culprit.
my blackberry used to do the same thing!

Open the registry editor:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER >>>> ControlPanel >>>> Sounds >>>>> RingTone0
And modify 'Script' by removing the w3 this should solve the problem let me know if it did not !!

then do this tweak hoop that it works now:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER------>ControlPanel------>PhoneNetSelMode------>Timeout
change the value from 3000 to 0
thanks for your help..
but then still the same..
i think its the natural lag on windows mobile when theres a call?
so different from my n95..
the lag seems to be the time it takes to initialize the mp3/wma/wav player and then load your ringtone from the storage.
Ya my March 2008 firmware updated Nokia N73 also has this 2-3sec lag.. It annoys me.. i 'miss' few of the missed calls (short ones) given due to this...
I've just increased the time it takes before a call is forwarded to voice mail.
Not ideal but at least I'll have fewer missed calls now.
I even had the same Issue on my Motorola RAZR...

How do you do that?
@nokmond
presuming you are in UK then you can change this by following the instructions in this thead:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=40232
It may work for other providers but don't know, it definitely works on O2, T-mob etc here.

Thanks mate
try using *.wav as the ringtone. Let me know if it helps.
the new htc touch pro vibrates shortly when the person you are calling picks up the phone. this way you dont have to hold your phone to your ear while it is ringing. is it possible to get this feature on the tytn?
Many of the custom Rom's will do this....
Phone Alarm has the same setting.
hmm which rom? none of the ones i tried has had that feature....or do i have to enable it?
is there a cab to install this feature?

I think MSVoiceCommand does that already! You might want to check that out if you havent already.
VoiceCommand? I thought,it is app for some actions, those are made by my voice command. Or am I really wrong? Sorry,I never used that. Where can I find it and how to use? Sorry for this noob question, but I never used this app.

You don't need a download to do what you want! Geez!
Go into Settings...Ringtones and Sounds...turn both ring and vibrate on. A simple 1,2, 3!!!
Geez Louise...doesn't anyone explore there phones and software anymore to see what features are accessible???
Let me elaborate further. My phone is set to ring and vibrate. However, when I receive a call, it just vibrates twice then ringer kicks in. The vibration stops after the ringtone plays. So if I miss the first two vibrations, I will miss the call id I cant hear the ringtone.
Thanks again for your help!
Sent from my HTC HD2 Gingerbread using XDA App
Tried the first download. Didn't work.
I tried the first download file. It's still the same. It first vibrate twice, then stops, the the ring sounds... no more vibrations after this.
oh sorry.. BTW this xap was work on my HD7 so i'll think it may work on your HD2 too.. .

Hi Perlnx,
Thanks for your time helping me out. BTW, what's the difference of the first download compared to the second one?
I will try the second download later and see if it makes any difference. Have a nice day!

Hi Perlnx,
Your first download file worked. I only sideloaded before and not deployed... that didn't work. However, I found it at the phone application menu and deployed this application.
Now I'm a happy man. It now vibrates all the time while the ringtone is running. It just doesn't pause though... just continue vibrating.
I will do the same with the mozart tonight.
Thanks for sharing your time and effort making this application file.
Hi Perlnx,
If you're still developing/improving this application, I think it's also a good idea to vibrate and pause. Sorry to ask...
It's just registry edit, I'll try to looking for a new key later.
The first one is import vibrate key into the phone
and the second one is delete the key and restore back to normal.
DID you search before you ask and post mate!!

SO WHAT !!!! explain please
Well, when I requested for help, I got the answer without complain from somebody. Your complain was not needed anymore.
And while you posted that UNSUPPORTED opinion with dual booting, did you receive any comment like "DID YOU EVER EVEN SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST?" None... so why do like offending people when it's not needed?
