Good afternoon to all. A little question. It's possible to modify (create new or delete) the 3 tabs that appear under the "big clock" in the HTC home?!? Now I had message, notify and phone. I would like to edit these and remove the notify and add a tab only for mail. It's possible?!? Thanks
P.S. I saw the mini touch skin for phone alarma with 4 or 5 tabs but i would like to create a personal one.
The Touch mini skin in phoneAlarm is a skin for phoneAlarm that just looks like the HTC Home plugin...
I think you can't adjust the three buttons on the clock tab of the HTC Home Plugin or skin this plugin, because it's not skinable (yet)...
there are some settins-programs that can customize the colors and icons, up to even the clock (font type and colors), but sadly not the buttons, as far as I know...

There is a program called HTC Home Customizer at this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319308
You can change how many tabs show up and the order and what not. It is easy to use and you can make a backup of your current settings before you start.
Cheers.

Sorry. I didn't read the thread correctly and this program does not do what you want to do. Still it is interesting.

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get a clock plugin that looks the same as the clock in the THC homescreen plugin?
I dont want to use all the tabs that the HTC plugin comes with, I use Spb mobile shell for that, but I really want that HTC clock on a tab.
Or is it possible to deactivate the part with the tabs in HTC homescreen? i know you can manage the tabs with HTC Home Customizer, but even if you remove all! tabs using it, you still end up with one tab. And as its the only one, its useless and just take up a lot of space on the screen.
thanks in advance,
modano
you can remove all the tabs, so you can just disable the ones that aren't the "Home" tab which will result in just the clock.
I was curious about this as well. Unchecking all the tabs through either the today settings or advanced configuration utility just defaults it to display all the tabs. There must be one tab selected or they all show up. If anyone knows a reg tweak or another program that will just allow the large clock it would be greatly appreciated!

hmm... are you sure about this wyldstallyns2589?
I just tried to only have the "Home" tab visible through HTC Home Customizer" instead of as i said with all! removed, but i still get the actual tab bar beneath(just the bar, no tabs) the sms/email notification bar.
i knew that's what it'd do, i misread your post apparently, sorry.
thats alright, thanks though!
Greetings!
If someone is interested in having a HTC visual touch here are the files. Would be great if we can achive HTC TouchFlo effects soon
@eloger it will be pretty good if you give the screen shot. I used already HTC Kaizer Home plugin, it is very cool mate
thnx for the collection...
Cool!
Check this!
I found it here is some threads:
*Attached the actual Touch wait cursor
*Touch dialer (The one we used in the Ather ROM) (I think its also used on the touch!)
Enjoy!!!
Vibrating Phonepad
Guyz this was included in my Winodws Mobile 6 Rom..now im sharing it with u
Download the Attached CAB file to make ur PhonePAD vibrate when a number is inserted
This is the appearance HTC Home Plugin
I like most of the HTC plugin, but not the HUGE clock. Is there still no solution to shrink it down to make room for some more buttons or today items?
by the way, eloger, there are lots of solutions around to get more touchflo- and/or iPhone-like experiences, like:

There are more that I'm either not aware of or that I can not find at the moment, so please, if you know of similar programs, tell us in this thread.
There is free software namely HTC Home Cuztomizer, may be it can help to customize all appearance in HTC Home plugin. To change the style of clock is absolutely possible but I like big clock, so I don't try to make it into small size

That's why it's an HTC program. Why don't you use SPB Mobile Shell which is just the same?!?!?
very nice
works soo great on my kaiser
really appreciate it,thanks the guy from pxdxa~~
and i have a question:
i install your attachment, and just have the clock and msg,no green icons~
the green icons on your screen(the quick links?) are htchomeplug, right?
yep, you need to go to the settings - today - and there is one more tab - plus! - where you can setup what you will see or not. just setup it here
It's interesting, very minimalist compared to the HTC Home. I wish they would have added Tab support as in the Home plugin, so we could switch to contact photodialing, quick launch etc.
The existing quick launch along the bottom is nice, especially being able to add any program to it (and drag icons to re-arange their order). But it's only one line, having to click on an arrow to scroll through them. Expanding it to display more lines, or perhaps even the entire screen (if needed) would have been nice.
I'll be sticking with HTCHome for now, maybe use Plus! to add 1 row of quicklaunch icons and not display the clock/mesage indicators.
(unless I am misunderstanding what this app does):
Just to let you guys know, your Kaisers should already be pre-installed with the Quicklaunch icons (with one additional for backlight) prior to installing this app. Go to "settings>today>items". Look through the list and check the box next to "HTCHomeplug" (Not htc home). The only difference is the icons aren't green.
ee, i do not agree. thchomeplug is someting different from this. icons are smaller then on quicklink and you can not customize it..
disagree

you can customize htchomeplug search for either the thread started by me or search for registry under kaiser upgrading and you can customize the new htc tray app using the same registry keys
yep, already found that and it was posted HERE
the problem that i find with this home plug in is that the quick link to the txt, mms and e-mail are all liked to the same main page of Messages, not individually like the htc home plugin v.2... can you fiz that issue, or can any one fix that??
Through searches i found some tweaks/programs to replace and change parameters/files. May i havenĀ“t found yet but is there a possibility to change the ordering of the homescreen items or setup it up for personal use like font, colour or executing programs replacement. Sample would like to have the agenda calendar executable instead of the htc calendar at the homescreen or bolding colouring homescreen items.
Second the favorite contact screen allows to add some friends, how can i expand the function to add to more?
Thanks for all replies.

err.. I think you are talking about changing the order of the Touch Flo tabs.
For that use Diamond TF3D Config
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405749
Found it already. Thanks, but at former pda time i could manipulate the homescreen items with patches/tweaks/programs to fullfil my expectations at colouring bolding and replacements. Now with diamond, nothing at the base could manipulate for the first homescreen. No edition or changing of the display items.
Hello - I've searched far and low. It seems everyone except for myself love the huge clock. I hate it whether it flips or not. I don't even want a clock on my home page. Does anyone know of any app that can make this clock go away and give me more real estate on the home page?
Tried WAD2, but crashes too much. Infinity also crashes. Used SPB for about a year, but bored and hate the bottom icons.
Thanks for any direction...
Just swipe your finger up through the home screen, the flip clock will gone, replaced by a (much) smaller clock.
If you hate the bottom icons in Spb, you can try ShellExtension that can hide the bottom icons on the Spb, or the naong MobileSense that can replace the bottom bar with HTC Sense (in HTC Android devices, for example : HTC Hero), (HTC) Espresso, or Omnia
.
vtmorp i agree with you i flip the clock up i prefer the small one if only there is a setting to have it by default flipped up
flip clock
My old phone used sense 2.1 and the flip clock did flip up into a smaller clock. This one does not. Using sense 2.5 2012 so maybe that's it, but my last rom had sense 2.5 1911 and it also did not flip up into a smaller clock.
Oh well - back to spb with some tweaks. Thanks.
u can try use Maxmanila. It support the big clock, flip clock, digital clock, or no clock.
Many times if youre not satisfied with the big clock nor you wanna install a new clock by searching for cabs, why not revert to the Windows Default Screen??? Depending on what rom youre using....
Start/Settings/Today
Look for the Item tab, un-check HTC Sense or HTC Manila
Check Windows Default
And well.....heres a more simpler style too your phone, no more BIG CLOCK.
I guess just try different approachs......
You can use some of the tips/tricks/files in this thread (most will work on VGA phones) -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=589227
try
checkout the cookiemonster home tab mod, if you swipe up twice you remover everything but a tiny clock at the top and you can see your background
Yay - no more clock!
Thanks Overjjrk! The cab worked like a charm - the awful clock is gone. It is definitely a preference matter - I just don't get why I have the time in the upper bar and then this HUGE ugly flip clock taking up all that real estate.
