When I receive a call and decide that I want to turn on my bluetooth headset, it's not recognized until after I disconnect the call.
Also, anyone know of a tweak so the blue LED for bluetooth only turns on when there is an actual connection?

Since I upgraded to Summiter's Test2 and now the multi-installer, I can not switch to phone handsfree. There is a button on the call status page that says "speaker on". It used to be I could press that and it would switch to speaker phone (away from BT). Now pressing that button does nothing.
The reason this is a problem is that it's easy to leave the BT headset in a different location than the phone. If I initiate a call from the phone, it automatically connects to the BT headset.
On recieving calls, I know to press the hard button for "talk" and it will let me use the phone in the traditional mode (even if the BT is connected). BUt when I initiate a call, I don't have any choice like that.
Thoughts? Am I the only one with this problem?

Does Anyone Have A Solution? When I Get A New Text Message The Bluetooth Doesnt Notify Me
i didnt know it was meant to send out bluetooth alerts when you receive a text?
with other phones i would get a beep of some sort in my ear alerting me that i had a message
For a normal handphone (nokia for example), when the phone is connected to a bluetooth earphone, all sound will be redirected to the earphone. This include sound produces by the menu.
For Windows Mobile, it isn't so. Only the phone calls get redirected. It has something to do with how Microsoft implements the sound mechanism. If I'm not mistaken, the phone calls sound and the normal sound playback mechanism are seperated.
try enabling bluetooth audio gateway
how do i do that?
I've just got a Garmin GPS that acts as a bluetooth handsfree. That works fine - but it also says that it should be able to receive a SMS over bluetooth, and even speak it out.
I don't get any bluetooth text notifications - I assume this is the same thing. I'm still on 2003SE - would an upgrade affect this?
I've been using a new bluetooth headset for about a week now, and suddenly it won't stay connected to my Pure. I have not done anything different to the phone to affect the bluetooth settings, and I've checked them several times anyway and everything seems normal.
I even deleted the pair with the headset, re-paired, but still the same results. The headset is properly recognized, it connects to the phone normally, but after about 20 or 30 seconds it disconnects.
If I turn on the phone's bluetooth, turn on the headset, then make a call after it connects, the call is properly routed to the headset but only for those first 20 or 30 seconds. What's worse is when the headset disconnects from the phone during the call it doesn't just revert the call to the phone's mic & speaker, it ends the call.
By the way, the headset is a NoiseHush N450, but I don't think the problem is with the headset because the same thing happens when I pair my phone to other BT headsets.
Any ideas?

Dear All,
I am facing the following problem. Whet I gen an incomming phonecall while on bluetooth with BT device connected (car, headphones) the conversation always starts from the phone, not from the connected device. I have to change it manually. How can I make when I pick up the phone to start the conversation through the connected BT device?
Thanks in advance,
I have the same problem. Bluetooth headphones connected, always have to be selected manually, even when making a call through the Google assistant
