Ok, there seems to be a vast shortage of cases for the Kaiser. Many of the cases (metal, leather) are for similar models, close fit, but not there. Does anyone have any Information as to who, what type of products will be available?

Check on ebay, there are some choices there.
There's also a multi-page thread on cases for the Kaiser in the "Kaiser Accessories" sub forum.

I was looking online and was wondering which series i should go with for tmo hd2.. the defender series sounds cool but ive seen iphone otterboxes and their HUGE. whereas with the commuter it might be more suited to my use of the phone(in jeans pocket). Been to official sight and seen the tech specs but that doesnt tell me anything about first hand use. If you got either series, tell me your thoughts plz!
After reading some of the other posts ive decided on the defender case, I believe it to be the best value and i HATE peel and stick screen protectors and the pix showing the actual size compared to the phone won me over. Now just hoping that with the defender, phone will still slide in compartment under radio. Thx for all the info guys! BTW got the case free, go go internet surveys!!!
I got a defender case coming in this week. I'll keep you posted.
One thing I am curious about.
I see MANY more posts in this forum about Otterbox, than about any other case, and wonder why?
Is it because...
1. The case is much better than any other?
or
2. Someone is actively using this forum to promote that product, getting free advertising for it?
In asking about option #2, I am not implying that either of you who wrote so far to this thread are involved in that. Yet, it seems to be a common practice in the mobile products world--for someone working for a company to post to forums such as this one, pretending to be an impartial user, telling everyone how great a product is, when in fact they are an employee of that company, getting paid to promote the product.
Not making any assumption about it happening here (just wondering, due to the very large number of posts about that one case), but I don't like it when #2 occurs. Of course any company has a right to promote their product, but they should do it honestly, with paid ads, not with fake "user reviews" in forums. (I have even seen on manufacturer's web sites, awards programs, where one can receive points towards free products, by posting positive "reviews" of the product on forums. I think such activity really subverts forums like this, so that one doesn't know whether someone's "review" is a paid ad or not. (And yes, points towards free products is payment.)
Sorry, for all the digression, but just curious, why such a large percentage of posts on this forum are all about Otterbox?

I have to wonder, do you have a particular post that you are suspicious of?
Me personally, from seeing how well the Defender case is made, decided to get one....since the bumper case that comes with the HD2 just won't cut it for me. Also, I'll be using a RAM two-ball swivel mount in conjunction with the belt holster that comes with the Defender case to make a pretty nice PDA mount in my car.

Probably because there is VERY FEW options for a good quality rugged case in the market at the moment.
The defender is a bit bigger, but not by much, however, I have the Commuter, and it slides good into a pocket, etc. The defender is silicone so I think you would have to use holster to make it more accessible.
To the guy wondering why people like Otterbox, it's because nobody else makes good rugged cases for phones. Iphone has speck, casemate, etc. HD2, has.. Some ****ty Body Glove case from T-Mobile?
I just got my defender case. And my god, I've never felt more like a man than I do now. It also doubles as a kickstand.
Hey,
I usually post in the Nexus S forum, where I review cases (done quite a few now) - I picked up a tab last week and was just wondering if anyone would be interested in me posting reviews here as well. I usually allow people to suggest cases as well!
Just seeing if enough people are interested since tab isn't that new.
Thanks!
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Yes I am, because I'm looking for a new case for my Tab
Ef-c980nbecstd
I have this case except for one thing, mine has a flap to cover the front as well.
http://www.google.com/products/cata...=X&ei=zjrKTZa5J8rZ0QGq3ZznBw&ved=0CE0Q8wIwCA#
model number is different, mine in EF-C980NBECSTD, which, when I google it, gives back no results. ..... now it does! http://www.spotit.com.au/buy/80133_GALAXY_TAB___KEYBOARD_DOCK_EF_C980NBECSTD.aspx
mine is also made is korea, better than china, my opinion.
Yes, I've been on the look out for a case with a keyboard as well.
Could you review this one please?
Most of the customer reviews are giving it a one star which is very harsh I don't like the other similar one as much, it relies on a magnetic flap to prop it up. Doesn't look as good

To be fair, it only got one review.
I'm trying to find some for the Zenu case, They are pretty expensive and the only Youtube review is in Spanish. You can find them on Ebay and Amazon, there is several options on color and material too.

Thanks for the help guys.
Hi everyone, there have been a lot of great accessories recommendations in this thread and ever since I received my unit, I've been browsing religiously.
The problem is, none of the cases I've seen here (mostly folio ones) interest me.
I am looking for a case that is similar to the following that I have tried to illustrate in MS paint: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/51636645/case.jpg
Don't mind the coloring. I used those colors so that I can better explain. I am pretty sure cases like this exist somewhere in the world because I've seen them before, but I can't remember when/where and for what types of devices I've seen them for... and most of all, I do not know what this type of case is called.
Anyway, it is essentially a sleeve, but the key thing is, there is no zipper. On the left of the image I posted, that's what it would look like closed, on the right, that gross neon green looking thing is supposed to be the Nexus 7 sitting in the pouch with the top flap open. I am not really sure how to explain in words, but it's not simply just a flap that goes over the top, but it actually wraps around the top of the device when closed, and it's able to do this because the material would be some sort of neoprene-y stretchy material.
So, does this zipperless, top wrapping flap type of case exist for 7" tablets? (doesn't have to be specifically made for N7, of course, also, is there a specific name for this type of case design?). I guess I can only best describe it as a "sock" except it wraps around?
Thank you

What? Maybe I don't understand your painting, but I've had one of these since the Nook Color. I'm using the same sleeve for my N7.
I actually keep my N7 in this, then put this case and the N7 in it into the above when traveling.
Wow, just like that you answered my question. I went through 19 pages (as of yesterday) of this forum to make sure that it wasn't posted, but maybe I missed it (if it was posted). Apologies to everyone if it was right in front of my eyes and I didn't see it.
That eBay link to that product is exactly what I am looking for. Thank you so much!
First of all, apologies for the location of this post but it appears that I'm unable to post anything in the on-site marketplace as I haven't had enough posts - I've tried to not bother people with trivial questions and it seems to have backfired as now I can't access a part of the forum that I need! Ah well! And, while I'm at it, sorry for the typo in the title, I only noticed after I'd posted and couldn't amend it to "tough".
I'm looking for a case for my HD2 to protect it from the inevitable knocks it's likely to receive on an upcoming, extended trip around Central America, and I'm struggling to find anything here in the UK. I'm not limiting myself to the otterbox brand but I've not seen anything from another manufacturer that would fit my phone. Any links to vendors would be appreciated if no one has a case for sale.

I have seen numerous ones. This one looks aesthetically pleasing, but it seems to be no brand, so I would like to know if someone had experience with it? Pictures look great.
If not this one, what about nilkin:

I know there are numerous threads, but that's the problem, there is no single conclusive advice about what is the best bang for the buck in cca 20 dollars price range.
Search for luckyexpress168 on this forum, I reviewed that case a couple of months back m8.
