I need real store, not webstore
Thanks.
T-Mobile has already introduced the Vario III in the UK so I presume that you'll be able to get it from T-Mobile HU shortly.

i'm just wondering, has anybody confirmed any official updates to wm6? i found an update on t-mobile USA's website for the MDA but i'm not sure if its wm6 or if its just something like aku2.3.
can anybody confirm for me? i was on the same site that t-mobile is posting the dash wm6 update to if that makes a difference.

No it is not a WM6 upgrade...
There will be no official WM6 update from T-Mobile for the MDA. T-Mobile USA no longer sells the MDA. It will be replaced by the HTC Hearld on May 25. Of course T-Mobile will sell it under a different name...

Is this source right? If so, we have the new name for our beloved Kaiser

MDA Vario III
I spoke to a UK T-Mobile business customer services representative on Saturday morning about getting the Kaiser on my contract renewal - whilst checking a T-mobile system she said that the "MDA Vario III was not yet available" but that T-mobile would text me when it was. No indication of when that would be though
Rumours persist that it'll be the 8th September for T-Mobile UK.
They probably don't want to announce it too early because it might put people off upgrading until it comes out.
It's supposedly coming out as the T-Mobile Vario III, Vodafone v1615 and HTC TyTN II "among other names".
No hint as to when Vodafone will release it, and from their website, you can only get to the pocket PC phones through the business section...
I'm actually thinking I might switch from O2 to T-Mobile when my contract runs out, as T-Mobile have a much better data plan... (that said, having an "unlimited" data usage policy with a 1GB cap seems a bit dishonest to me, but then again, it's still better than anyone else I know of)
Spoke to a customer service rep at T-mob today, to tell them i want to wait a month to upgrade, so i can have the Kaiser.
Was told its being tested right now, and will be a mid September release, at a price of £280 upgrade. Obviously that price is very negotiable depending how much you spend a month. MDA Vario III will be its final name, on T-Mobile UK at least. My names on the list for one the day its released
The wife just had an MDA Touch delivered from T-Mobile UK (and very sleek it is too) but was told on the phone at the weekend that if she waited for a month the Vario III would be available.
That pretty much ties in perfectly with the 8th September. There must be an internal memo whizzing it's way around T-Mobile HQ, 'cause that date keeps cropping up.
She's more about having slim and girly phones than fully featured powerhouses though...
Looks like today is the official announcement date for the Tytn II in Europe! Carriers for the UK are Orange, Vodafone and T-Mobile. No mention of GPS from the Orange rep but Voda and T-Mo both mention it explicitly. Will it be crippled under Orange, I wonder?

hi all
I am a bit confused ( dont take much these days) is the HTC TYTN II the Kaiser, as they look very similar and when i google it thats what i find..
also as anyone got one recently from t-mobile as i am due a upgrade and how much did they pay for it.
Cheers for the help
Neel
Yes the Kaiser was renamed the TyTN II. Not sure about your second question.
HTC Kaiser / HTC TyTn II / T-Mobile Vario III = all the same thing
(except the Vario looks cheap and nasty)
T-Mobile is a worldwide company and people from across that world read this forum. Which T-mobile are you talking about?
I'm referring to the UK variant.

Sorry, that wasn't directed at you, but at the OP.
i am in the UK
As far as I know Kaiser is/was the name given by HTC during the development of the device. It is now sold as the HTC Tytn II. TMobile UK are selling/will be selling this as the MDAvario III. Vodaphone UK will also carry this device as V165 or something similar. All of these devices are manufactured by HTC. Most providers will have their own customised ROM installed. Currently we are unable to CID unlock these devices and so we are stuck with default provider ROMs. Eventually I am sure Pof or some other genius on here will work out how to CID unlock them and then the fun begins with our own customised ROMs.
Yep they are all Kaisers = generic name for all of them
TyTn II is the one sold under the HTC name and then as said above you have all the other variants as well.

Thinking of ditching my Vario II and was offered the Vario III free on T-Mobile Flext 35 from a high street store and they had the phone in stock.
T-Mobile official store wanted £119 for the same tariff, should I go for it?
If it's free...........DUH
So DUH means I should then?
