Bluetooth Anyone? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

What bluetooth headsets are people using and what are your results?
I am using a Plantronics Discovery 665 with great results. Sound quality is good on both ends but volume could be a bit louder. I just ordered a BlueAnt Z9 but I am not impressed. I love the size but sound quality sux.

Bluetooth headset for TyTN II

What do you raccomend?
i need something not so expensive that uses the hands free and the wireless stereo services
/edit: sorry i missed section...
If you're talking wireless headphones, I'd get some motorola ht820's.
They can be used to listen to your music, AND answer calls with their built-in mic.
Here's a pic: http://www.welectronics.com/Bluetooth/motorola_ht820.jpg
You can get these for about £20 online.
But if you're just after handsfree, I'd recommend the Bluetrek G2. Nice looking earpiece.
Pic: http://www.ecoute-ecoute.com/images/produits/BLUETREKG2.jpg
Slightly more pricey, expect to pay about £20 - £27 for this.
EDIT: Oh and for the record, with the Motorola's I managed to get about 30 meters (YES! Thirty meters!) away from my phone before they started to lose signal. I was amazed! I was messing in my office and couldn't believe it.. They've got a brillian battery life (I've had about 21 hours use, full volume , so far and they're still going strong!). They've also never lost signal/cut out (apart from when i did my experiment above ). And the quality is as good as wired.
yes but it's 100+ euros the motorola one!
i think i'll go for the bluetrek...are you sure that supports both hands free and wireless stereo?

No, as I said it's just hands free...
Regarding the price of the motorola ht820's, where is it you are searching for them? Here's a list where they're selling for no more than £30 (39.6661 EUR)...

what about LevelOne BLH-1200
http://global.level1.com/products2.php?Id=783
I have it and works perfect so far
Also if you have your own 3,5 mm jack headphones, you can try Philips SHB7100
http://www.consumer.philips.com/con..._CONSUMER/Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset+SHB7100-05
Get the Jabra BT 8040. Has a Stereo A2DP option and sounds pretty good.
I'm digging my new Plantronics Voyager 855. Sounds pretty good so far and does both mono and stereo A2DP. My previous headset was a Moto H700 which did not play well with my Tilt.
Plantronics 655 was terrible for the Kaiser.. hope the 855 is better
Plantronics voyager 855 for Tilt
Does the earpiece play the ringtone in your ear
Found the Motorola one at 25 GBPs!
(and bought )
Has anyone tried the above mentioned devices with MS Voice Command? If so, how well did it work? I'm particularly interested in the Plantronics 855 and Jabra 8040.
I use the Jabra BT8010 and it works and sounds great.
Which ROM and radio do you have? I have also BT8010 but the quality is not good...
I'm using Dutty's DialTouch v2 and Radio Version 1.27.12.17
Can anyone confirm that the Plantronics 855 works well with Voice Command and Dutty's 6.1 rom?
I'm very unsettled between this two models:
OEM Plantronics Voyager 855 Stereo Bluetooth Headset
JABRA BT8040
which do you recommend?
I have the Motorola S9's and they work absolutely amazing. Not one complain about them..slick design, clear and loud music, and everything you'd want in wireless headphones.
BT Headset
Why don't I see the HTC Bluetooth mentioned.
I find the quality very good and hooks up with WM 5, 6 and 6.1 perfectly.
This headset uses A2DP for stereo and the advantage is that it's small and can take any pair of earphones you wish with a 3.5mm stereo jack.
The battery life is excellent and uses the same charger as the TyTN/TyTN II.
The range is approx. 10 m+ in an unhindered situation.
The model is the BH S100.

Headset

I'm wondering if it exists a better headset for this mobile. I would like to use it during running session too. Any advice?
Thank you!
i use the nokia BH-905, they work great with the 2x.
I think it's not he best device to use as mp3 player. I compared with Iphone and it seems that the volume is lower. I don't think that it's headset issue.....
I would like to know if someone is using some equalizer for the music....

I tested it with my Denon AH-C710 and Beyerdynamic DT770, and I can tell you the phone is very good. Definitely better than the iPhone (my significant other's ) and Nexus One. Nexus One was closer to sh*t actually. Compared to Cowon S9, which is considered to be among the best of portable sound, O2X does very good.
If the sound volume is too low your headset might be too demanding or your files are slightly attenuated.
headset
i tesed the htc hd2 with this nokia headset, and the lg o2x,
the soud of the lg o2x is nice and even the dolby sound is very good.
oke it's not for running but de quality of the sound is good.

Best headset for voice calls?

Does anyone have recommendations for the best headset for voice calling? People say I sound like I'm underwater and too muffled when I use my Samsung oem headset, apple earpods, or ultimate ears headset. I sound perfectly fine when speaking directly into the phone.
Thanks!

Plantronics Legend by far hands down
Motorola H19txt for something discreet.
Parrot Vxi+ if you need something industrial grade and don't care what it looks like.
if you are talking Bluetooth, then Its the bose bt2, hands down...
I have been through 7+ headsets in the last 3 years and just recently bought the plantronics M165.
Simply the best one I have owned to date. Clear. Excellent noise reduction. Super light.

Groupon have Jawbone Icon HD refurb for 30 bucks, great reviews
Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll check out everything.
I've probably been through 20 wired and bluetooth headsets over the years. The best was from theboom, but they stopped working well when I started using the galaxy s2
I bought the jawbone deal just because it's cheap. I'll compare against the plantronics voyager I already have. The bose is tempting since it seems like the only headset on Amazon that has generally good reviews.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
the voyager is probably the second best headset behind the bose; its just kinda big and bulky with that boom, and if you wear it all day, it feels heavy on your ear, where the Bose is almost non existent on your ear after a few hours.
the jawbone was good in its day, but its no where near the best now a days, but hey, for 30 bucks, why not!
and, I have had EVERY Bt headset ever made in the last 10 years or so...
If you want a real treat, grab the Jaybird bluebuds; expensive, stereo, and the absolute best sound for music, and not bad for phone calls either!
i'm using samsung hm1100 bluetooth
I have the Jawbone Era. It's worked well for me. I haven't had complaints while using it by the person on the other end.
CNet as of Feb 4, 2013, currently lists the top 5 BT headsets: Plantronics Voyager Legend, Jawbone Era, Jabra SUPREME UC MS Headset, BlueAnt Q2 Smart Bluetooth Headset, and Jawbone Icon HD. You would just have to read to see which may fit your needs and wants best.
I will say, the Era is definitely on the pricey side. I got mine on sale for half off and was a good value at that price. Before that, I had a Jawbone 2 for years and worked well through BlackBerry Curve, Evo 4G, and to the GN2. Thus in my opinion, I think they make a good products. I read very good things about Plantronics over the years, which should give good value for you as well.
I alternate between the Plantronics Voyager Pro + and the Jawbone Era. I like the voice customization options on the Jawbone but I prefer the overall sound quality in the Voyager.

Cnet doesn't update their ratings with current models...they don't have the bose bt2 in their top 5?
I've had 4 of those headsets in their "top 5", and only the Plantronics voyager comes close..
I'm a headhunter and thus work on the phone for a living. There isn't a bluetooth headset made without a boom mic that wont sound like you are on a speaker phone. The best ones are found at truckstops. They are the ones truckers buy but they have a big boom and your voice is super clear.
That being said, the main problem is with bluetooth itself. Using digital phones your voice is already being given a mechanical tinny sound. Add to that another layer of processing with bluetooth and it only gets worse. For those old guys like me who remember the days of analog cell phones where you sounded like a human you know what I mean.
So, if you are working in an office get either a wired or bluetooth headset (wired better) with a boom mic. For walking or driving around any of these suggested would work well.
does ayone know ifit's worth the extra money togo with the higher end devices??? like the Plantronics Voyager Legend UC B235, Plantronics Voyager Pro HD, or the jawbone era, or the Bose 2 series??? if i am gonna spend the money for one, i would pay the extra price to get a good one...

I'm using the Monster LiveStrong and Monster iSport, they are the same just with different color. and it sounds great.
I'm a huge fan of the blueparrot bx250-xt. It's big and ugly but it's awesome. I've had the windows down at 75mph and no one can tell. It's the only bt that's had a speaker loud enough for me. I'm a truck driver and no one can tell if I'm driving or not.

Plantronics Voyager Pro HD GTN-7100 Call Disconnects
Cannot recommend Voyager Pro HD as Plantronics Voyager Pro HD GTN-7100 Call Disconnects. I have gone back to cheaper Jabra Easycall (but it does not have mute function). This problem is not just related to the Note II and is not just related to Voyager Pro HD - other phone and headset combinations have reports of call disconnect e.g. Jabra Wave has Galaxy Note II GT-N7100 bluetooth problem during call

Bose 2 bt is the BEST, followed closely by Votager Pro HD, and YES, if you need to be on a bluetooth all day, then a premium headset works a million times better than the cheapos, as far as sound, comfort, and every other way...only 4-5 hours of talk time on the bose, and almost 8 with the voyager..
I've owned at least 50 BT headsets in my life, so I am pretty well versed on this subject..

AUDIO QUALITY on Moto X

I currently own an HTC ONE GPE and trying to make a switch to Moto X. HTC ONE is considered to have the best DAC and best audio volume according to GSM arena. My only worry is audio volume and quality via headphones on Moto X ?
I have done tons of research on the topic and there seems to be mixed reviews on audio quality.
What do you guys say -
Is the audio volume loud enough ? Is it louder or par with iphones ?
Is the sound quality comparable with HTC One ?
Do i need to use low impedance or high impedance headphones ?
Or should i use bluetooth headphones like jay bluebird earbuds ?
Let me know
I thought the moto x had terrible audio quality when I got it but turns out the 3d EQ setting is on my default . to me it made it sound like crap. Turn it off and walla

Not sure about the iPhone 5, but my Moto X speaker puts my wifes 4s to shame. And I just use my Samsung ear buds... They sound pretty good to me.

The moto x's speaker is suprisingly loud, clear, and bassy. Headphones sound great.

QFT, all my friends and family were surprised on how loud it was. You won't be disappointed by the speakers performance. It was another reason I chose it over the Nexus 5.
Sent from my Moto X
Definitely louder and richer sound on the speaker than my Nexus 4. However it doesn't sound as good through earphones, at least from what I remember. That could be equalizer settings though.
I had the HTC One Mini, and Iphone 5s before I got the MotoX. The Moto X sound is way louder then both of those. I really notice when I put the Moto X on its back while playing music, it makes it louder. This is with WinAmp as the player. I really like the Moto X for playing music. No complaints here.
My thoughts after a week..
Call quality is good. Nothing to necessarily boast about, but no negatives to report. 75% more than loud enough for me, no complaints about quality on my end.
Speaker sounds good, again nothing to really boast about. I usually don't listen to music from the speaker - podcasts, occasional youtube - so I can't really offer up any detailed diagnosis. Definitely sounds better coming from my Galaxy Nexus, and more than suitable for my daily use.
As for headphones.. I have a decent pair and a crummy pair and they sound comparable with my other devices and music. I mainly use my Jaybird Bluebud headphones and absolutely zero complaints. 16 Ohms* for reference, and they sound great, but I haven't heard any unusual reports about headphone consistency anyways so whatever you have should translate in quality (source consistency provided). Bluetooth issues and 4.4+ seem to be more consistent with speaker setups / car use but don't quote me, but I've had no bluetooth issue between 4.2.2 and 4.4 and my headphones. Can't comment on other bluetooth compatible issues.
Can't find anything in this department to fault the device on, personally, but YMMV, of course :good:
*
lower impedence is generally regarded as a good thing in iems but for reference;
