I just got the unlock to enter in my treo 750..but it looks like someone has tried to enter the wrong code 15 times...
how long must i wait before it will let me enter the code?
its been over 24 hours...
your phone is indefinitely blocked.
please wait for the new release of my SIM unlocker and you'll be able to unlock it.
will that be anytime soon?
or will it be a while?
Olipro,
Is the newest release of your SIM Unlocker able to overcome this indefinite blocked state yet?
Any other options?
Thanks,
Novelty57
FINALLY after 7 days without the phone going to sleep or turning off
it allows me to enter the code......
it actually had to sit 7 days
Wow this took 7 days to unlock. I tried using the unlock program and it was at 2 days and the program put it to 12 days so I just went to ebay to buy the code. So now I have to wait 7 days. Ahhhhhhh

this is great news, will this unlock those like me that flashed the Hermes radio rom?
Thanks for you work.
Ha finally!!! Mine was timed out for 36 tries (thanks to some of the unlock programs on here) and I had waited for days for it reset but nothing. I tried the other unlockers too but didn't have much luck. I even tried calling AT&T for a code and they said no go unless you the phone is under service with them for 90 days. So I finally bit the bullet and paid for the software unlock that is done over the internet and finally got it unlocked even with the timeout still on. Yeah.
I'm in the same boat, the phone is in timeout, I have the code from ATT but can't enter it. Would you please share what service you used to get it unlocked online even with the timeout.
Had same issue
When My blackstone wsa in timeout I found that the timer only countts down when the phone is on (screen and all) so to make the timeout pass quickly set your phone to never turn off (without sim in) then leave it on charge. May take several days of being left always on but the phone will eventually timeout and let you enter another code.
timeout
please tell me a solution for HTC HD2
How long do I have to wait for the timeout?
Timeout for HD2
The timeout on my HD2 is now after 7 wrong tries around 35min ....
i think it increases abaout 5 min every try. Just let your device allways on in that time.
bye the way has anyone managed to get a working unlock code for a 3 Austria locked HD2

HTC Touch HD, Sony Ericsson X1, HTC HD2
Treo 750 unlock error
Follow the steps to unlocking but crashed in the third 56% and now the Treo connects to the bootloader screen, how to recover? thanks

ok my xda locks up (nothing new there!) soft rest and all i get is a white screen! try again and the same thing happens. So i decide to do a hard reset. This appears to be working until it's loading applications and settings (O2) when it hits a .per file (i think) and tells me i need to find the source .cab file.
the 2 choices i then have are ok or cancel, niether work the bloody thing is locked up again! so i soft rest it and it's back but with no O2 settings. I try and run a back up from my pc and it all works apart from about 15 files that it cannot reinstall (mainly to do with contacts). I then sync my contact list as that is missing and all looks good! 2 days configuring it back to my liking and all looks good once again!
This morning no alarm to wake me up (bugger im now half hour late for work! lol) the xda had been on charge all night and it appears to be dead! All i can see is the O2 logo like you get at start up but with no back light. the unit does not respond to anything. I've tried taking the battery out, soft and hard reset all with no response! I try and put it back on charge and all i get is the red light come on for 2 mins then go off again! can't turn it on while on charge!
Please help as phoning O2 is really like banging our head against a brick wall!
thanks guys
i'm not to sure but i would say you have two options either download the rom from the o2 website or download the rom Modified_XDA_IIi_Upgrade_V1.11.162_Radio_1.04.rar i installed it yesterday and i haven't had any problems hope this helps
ty but if i cant turn the phone on or connect it to the pc how can i do that????
i might give O2 a call anyway and see what they say. they might offer me a new one which is always good!
o2 could offer you a new one but i read somewhere on this site that the xda IIi has been discontinued so they might upgrade to the xda exec
When I first got my 2i, I had it for a week and then out of the blue it decided to do this after a soft reset one day - got stuck at the O2 splash screen, no backlight, frozen forever. Had to take the battery out to turn it off.
Took it into the shop, the store manager said "yeah, we've seen this happen more than once", and just went into the storeroom and got a me a brand new one.
This did happen the day after I'd run the simunlock tool found on this forum, which worked successfully (I tried my Virgin mobile SIM in it and it worked first time, but I then took it back out and put my O2 SIM back in)... I'm not sure if it was just coincidence or what, but I'm not feeling too eager to run simunlock on my Alpine again until I sell it
thanks guys i thought it might be fried!
called last night but got cut off and then was after 7 so couldn't speak to anyone!
will try again and see what they say!
when i put it on charge it charges for a few mins then turns onto splash screen for a few mins then turns off and charges again and so on in a loop! really quite annoying! lol
Another thing to try is to put the device into bootloader mode and force a firmware upgrade. It can be connected to the PC but it will no longer use Activesync so the upgrade will work fine.
Once this is done it will be using more up to date firmware if you download the ROM from this sites FTP and should work better in general.
well carphone craphouse couldnt do anything with it so has had to go back to O2 went on the 10th dec and still no word
Hi Guys. I got my note 3 recently (4 days ago).
Anyway i did my research here in the forum to root it and to use chain fire regional unlock. My note 3 came with 4.3 and mj5. I used Kingo App and later i used "regional lock away" because i'm in DR. The regional lock, i think it didn't work because i was getting sim unlock code and then i waited 60 sec as the instructions said and i restarted the phone. And i got the message again but i didn't care because it was too late. I did this at midnight.
So i decide to use the phone but then i was so tired that i prefer to stop and do it at morning so i put the cellphone on the table and i went to sleep. Today i woke up to check the phone and i can hear everything but the screen is not working is all black. I don't know what happened i need some help. I don't know if i brick the phone because it was working so good yesterday. It came with s view case i don't know if is original but it was working really nice with it just to add some information .
i tried pulling of the battery, wait a long time and nothing the screen is just black. I would think the lcd is broken. But it didn't fall and it was working yesterday so i don't get it.
Now i check with kingo app in my pc and it says it's not rooted the phone. wth?. Do you think the rooting process mess up my phone or the regional lock away?
I am sending our this S.o.S. to anyone that could possibly be off some kind of help to me please!!!!!! I have a HTC ONE M9 T-Mobile varriant not unlocked not stolen nor a bad IMEI. I stoped my service a lik while back due to some disputes and what have you so needless to say they ate still working on it meanwhile phone is off on their behalf. So I went and got the pre-paid monthly SIM starter kit. WOOT WOOT Cell service again...... No problems for the last few weeks. Then today my phone shuts off and reboots it's on its own. But now there is a pin unlock screen to unlock the phone. Before I can use any of its functions or apps. I have tried hard factory reset but when I perform that task as ll ther d is is system info, reboot, reboot to bootloader reboot to download mode reboot to recovery mode or power down. Doesnt have fact reset like normaly does and I have no clue why the pin is tried normals like last 4 cell number last s.s. all the genarics they normaly use any advice would be greatly appreciated. Ty for your time.

Don't fall for any tricks which are available online. Nothing changes 360 hours wait time. I had one account in which it had 84 hours left, I did that 2 accounts trick now both my account has 360 hours waiting time lol

um, there's a way. You need to crack up your phone and connect two dots on your board ,this will enable emergency download mode(9008 mode). Exact locations vary with your model.
Then you use one special engineering cable (you can make one with ordinary usb cable) to connect your phone to your computer.
Then press volume up and down and power at same time ,your phone will enter emergency download mode and now you can flash anything you want.
This is the way they use to repair bricked phones.
Here's a tutorial at chinese miui forum(written in chinese,obviously):http://www.miui.com/thread-15733507-1-1.html

In China, you can unlock your mi 8 at once by using the old version of the bl unlock tools (an account with unlock permission is also required)

I think is fixed this "bug"
You think I can run an unlock procedure on a 4A redmi and then use the account on MI8? (so I won't have to reach the 15 days maybe less)
No, you have to week 15 days.
I have permissions on my account, i have unlocked my Redmi note 3 a few years ago, am i supposed to have to wait the 15 days? Wasn't it like 74h?
i tried to unlock my phone yesterday with my really old xiaomi account - but it showed me 360h of waiting time.
today i changed the account to one of my friends - he unlocked is mi6 couple month ago with a waiting time of 72h
but i got the same result -> 360h of waiting time.
maybe it was because i tried it before and should have used the other account directly..
many people unlocked the phone directly with an account which they used to unlock an other, not to old, xiaomi phone so you can give it a try.
my timer was resettet to 360h again Oo
How can I check how much time has passed? or do I have to try it after 15 days?
that would be pretty stupid if I try it a day before and then the time is reset

Just try to unlock it through the unlocker software, it will say the time left at 99%.

Once 360 hours have passed, will the Bootloader unlock without problems, or can it give me an error and start the timer again?
The only things you can do is to wait...
My id also need 360h to unlock. But I changed to my bro's account and unlock immediately

This method is called EDL or deep cable mode, but in order to do it you need an special account code and Xiaomi doesn't offer them anymore.
I'm not new to rooting and all. With that said, I'm not pretty good at this too. So all I wanted to know is that is there some kind of workaround to the 7 day wait. Like some modded version or anything like that.
Thanks in advance.
No, it does not exist. you have to wait 7 days.

Oh okay. So I have to keep my mobile connected to it for all that time? Or should I do "Add Account" in my mobile developer settings and wait 7 days to connect my mobile to my laptop?
exactly. add your MI account in the developer settings and OEM Unlock.
Then download MIUNLOCK, connect to the MI account and try the unlock. Then the timer starts.
Well, ik this sounds a bit dumb but i didn't quite get it.
The timer starts when:
I add my account in the developer settings
Or
I connect my phone to my lap and click on "unlock".
Also if its the second one. Do i have to keep my phone connected for 7 days and i can't use it?
The timer starts when you confirm that you want to unlock.
Afaik: You can disconnect it, you can use it, you can turn it off, you can take the SIM out. On the 7th day you need to turn it on again with SIM inside. Be careful not to start the 7 day timer again when the 7 days are over.
And how can I possibly "restart the timer".
Thanks for the reply!
No, there's no other way to skip the 7 days. Unless you try to unlock phone that ia older than 2 years, I believe, MiUnlock will automatically unlock it (need further confirmation, happens to some people)
I believe you can accidentally "restart" the countdown if you swap your sim with different sim that is used to request the unlock, or stay offline/airplane for too long (3-5 days). Safe bet is, keep your phone on, don't swap the sim, and stay connected to internet as best as you could until you have successfully unlocked it.
Ohh okay. I finally get it.
Thanks for the help guys! I really appreciate it.
Use it for few mins every other day. Connect to wifi, take picture, play soke game etc.

If you use your phone as always and as long you do nothing more with account settings or OEM unlock, you are OK.
The timer restart if you try the unlockprocedure again from start.

When starting with unlock you need to enable some settings in developer options.
After this you start the unlocktool, after a short time (99%) you see the wait time of 168 hours.
Everytime if you start the unlocktool after this, you see that waiting time will be lower.
But...........
If you change some of the before enabled settings in developer options, that clock starts again for 168 hours, because he thinks that this is the start of a new unlock attempt.
My advice: Stay away from settings for that week.
If you use your phone as always, nothing happens with resetting the wait clock.
If you start the unlocktool after 168 hours, everything runs as expected (100%) and you bootloader will be unlocked and all data will be erased. So make a backup before.
